- In this video, I will show you how to install Themeforest Theme on WordPress website and how to import demo content for these premium themes. You can buy themes from Themeforest and install the theme on WordPress website. Each theme has its own way of importing demo content. So the process of demo content import will be different for each theme. In this video, I will install 2 different Themeforest themes on WordPress website.

👉 Steps to install themeforest theme on WordPress
➤ Login to Themeforest account.
➤ Go to profile icon in top right corner and click on Downloads.
➤ You will see the themes that you have bought and available to download.
➤ When you click on Download option, you will see 2 different options "All files.." and "Installable WordPress theme file"
➤ Click on "Installable WordPress theme file" and save it on your computer.
➤ Login to Wordpress website dashboard where you want to install themeforest theme
➤ Go to "Appearance". You will see the list of themes.
➤ Click on "Add New" at the top.
➤ Now Browse the installable wordpress theme file that you have downloaded on your computer and click Upload.
➤ Once the theme file is uploaded, click on Activate Theme.
➤ Many premium themes will ask you to install required plugins.
➤ Click on install required plugins.
➤ Activate the plugins.
➤ Now, you will need to find the the option to import demo content.
➤ Import demo content.
➤ Your wordpress website is ready with the demo content.
➤ Edit the website and change the logo, images and content according to your website requirements.

After installing the demo content and selecting customize option to edit ...there is only a widget section showing and not able to edit footer header and other option. Can you help me out?
I tried with different theme same happens and tried disabling plugins also but still customise option is only showing widgets.
it depends on which theme and page builder you are using. have you gone through the documentation of theme?

Great content, what web hosting can i used to start installing website theme from theme forest? Can I use godaddy?
yes, you can use godaddy or any other hosting server. You need WordPress to install theme.
i bought a theme also and tried to install it on wordpress but as i understand you need minimum a business plan on wordpress. for this right? for me it feels a bit expensive but i would like to know if i can do it without this plan..

Correct me if i'm wrong, but you need to actually have a £240 a year subscription to be able to import a theme into wordpress.
it depends on theme you are trying to install. It is not only for themeforest theme but you can install any other premium theme.

which theme is it? were you able to install the required plugins for theme? it could be because of plugin issue.

i have no option like demo content install option in the tools session.
it depends on which theme you are installing. it may be under Tools, or Appearance or Settings or if you see your Theme settings in the WP dashboard then it may be under theme options.
I don't see the Demo Content Install option in Tools. Is there an alternative that I can use to install my theme?
which theme is it? Sometimes the demo files will be included in the package. check under Appearance, settings or theme options.

hello sir I am just seeing your video but the theme I purchased does not show installable file option and after downloading and extracting all document file there is not installable file as well what should I do
there must be installable theme zip file. otherwise how can it be installed. which theme is it? and what is the size of the file that you have downloaded. May be you have already downloaded the installable theme file and you are trying to unzip that file.

which theme is it? if it is a premium theme that you have purchased, then you can report it to support and get refund.

Hi Bro! Great video! Im having trouble downloading the plugins. It says "There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions." And im also unable to find the option to install the demo content. Do you know how to troubleshoot this 2 problems?

I am facing issue with the content. I am trying to edit content of pages but it is showing Page not found 404 error.
try this. OPen WP dashboard. Go to settings, click on Permalink settings. Select Post Name option. Save the settings. Now refresh and try to open the page.
I was able to import the demo content however the images are missing. Any suggestion?
it depends on theme which you are installing. May be there is limit set on your wordpress website. did you get any error while importing the demo content?
No errors maybe the developer does not share the images because rights. Anyway I was going to use my own images. Thank you your tutorial was very good.

it is possible. You need to find out the theme zip file and use that file to upload. It depends on which theme you download.
brother i have envato elements subscription and i purchase products from envato elements but when i extract the fies i do not get theme and the extra things shown in your video. can i still import my template in one click. because it is so time much time consuming to copy and paste this template manually.
it depends on which theme or product you are using from envato. I believe that you can still import the demo content from theme settings if it is available for that theme. Read the theme documentation or let me know which theme you are trying to install.

Bro I downloaded bacola theme from themeforest I installed it and did setup and imported demo content. But it's not working properly. Can I reinstall wordpress will it affect current purchase code
It will not affect your purchase code if you are installing it on the same domain.

not really. If you are able to download theme file, then you can install it.

you need to select the demo that you want your website to look like. On both the demos, you may find an option to preview the demo. Once the demo is imported, you will be able to edit the website. It depends on which theme you install.

What to do if the zip file doesnt want to upload?
open the zip file and look for the theme zip inside the main zip file. you may be uploading the entire package. check theme documentation.

You do not need to pay to edit the theme or website. If the theme is premium then you need to buy theme license. If theme is free then you do not need to pay anything. It depends on theme.

It is theme for Creative Agencies. It uses Elementor page builder. The layout is really very impressive. I do not have access to this though.
About installing this theme, I think the process will be similar to what I have explained in the video.
Why i don't have " live demo content " button ?
which theme do you have? may be you can upload the demo content manually from the theme files. It depends on which theme you install. Look for demo content under Appearance, Tools, Settings, Theme options. Finally look into documentation.
