Those are the two times I can recall someone in Australia has said the word “rubbish” to me this year. Most of the time, people just say “bin” without saying “rubbish”. I did hear two ladies working in a store at Sydney say “trash” and “trash can” at least 20 times lol without saying “rubbish” or “bin” even once.
