I plan on making one. I use a dropper loop rog for the hook and sinker with 60 lb mono. I run a slip cork above it with the stopper set to about 25 ft but will change it anywhere from 3 to 35 ft based on where I'm casting

Sorry for so many questions but I really want to catch some catfish and so far I haven’t had the best of luck any where I fish the peedee in Cheraw sc and darlington sc and society hill sc and I just don’t under stand what me and my brother in law are doing so wrong lol.
Just moved to columbia, went here yesterday and it doesnt dissapoint. Saw someone drag in a 30+ before i left after catching 1. Was only here for maybe 2 hours. Seems like a cool spot. Do people ever have luck further down the river or with different species?
That's awesome u got a 30! When the season is open the striper fishing can be really good there. Largemouth fishing can be good down river. I've caught a few big catfish down river but not nearly as many as under the dam.
@Reptiboy98 I didn't get a 30 xD just someone next to me did I caught 1 regular fish is what a meant but I want to get a big one, maybe I'll see you down there one day

I will do that for the next video but im using a 10 ft surf rod (st croix triumph 3/4-4 oz) and a daiwa bg 4500

I’m from Darlington sc and go to watered dam how do you set your WST CORK and what bait do you use? Thanks in advance
I mainly use gizzard shad cut bait. I just use a bobber stopper set at 25-30 ft for the cork
