Excellent Tribute to The Late Great Mr.Al Green,Every Instrument is balanced just perfectly & what a Sound Track to use for Vocals,Guitar,& Tenor Sax.I must say Al sure hit a home run with this one that I clearly remember when it came out in the late 60's & we were playing the Lounges & with no one in my Group at the time could read music,I liked to never picked up on all these Chord Changes that I must say has to be some of the best I've ever heard in my Entire Life.The Cats that arranged these back in the 60's were way ahead of their time by far & I don't know of another Soul Vocalist that could have Sung it any better than Mr.Al Green & this was when Marvin & Otis,were Riding High,but I must say between Motown & Atlantic Records down South at The Muscle Shoals Studio Alabama where so many of our Famous Legends Recorded was nothing less than Amazing Sounds that were born during the late 60's & thru the early 70's until that Disco Duck Mess everyone was going for hit. Thank You for Sharing Your Wonderful Talent With all us Old Timers.Gosh,how I'd love to live it all over again,So many things I would have done much Differently as others would also say

Hi Mr.Jackson,I just wanted to thank you for the great news about Al Green,I thought he had passed away,I'm so glad to hear he's still with us.I remember when he was in his prime & was up there with Otis Redding & Marvin Gay who use to help Smokie Robison when he would come up with a New Song,Smokie said Marvin was always late,& if they was to start at 8:00 pm.He would tell Marvin it was set for 6:30 pm.& Smokie said he would still be late,but it was sure worth waiting because it wasn't anyone else that could put so much Soul into his Songs like Marvin could do.I was very sadden the day I heard we had lost Marvin,what a great lost because Marvin had just returned from the UK & was ready to Hit The Charts with some more of that God Gifted Talent he was Blessed With,& Mr.Al Green was also another Gifted Soul Singer. Mark, I love the detail on all your charts! Can't imagine having any better sound to back up a performance. My only preference would be to avoid fade outs for endings. Any way to offer a definite resolution rather than fade outs??
Yes, I agree with you about the fades. Unfortunately, some of my backing tracks were recorded in a studio with a band years before I ever thought about making backing tracks, and we didn't create endings because we knew that we would fade the song on the album. I'm writing endings on all the songs I'm doing now, believe me. Thanks, Steve!
