Pilots are literally bus drivers in the sky. As someone who actually designs automation systems for living, I can confidently say pilots merely press buttons and rely on engineers like me to keep you all safe. Usually when something goes wrong, pilots can’t do anything about it. The stuff they do manually isn’t hard to learn and doesn’t take years of high intensity higher education to master.

Hey they added Cameras. So you can see the Engines now.. No more asking the Help to go back and look out the window. To see if it's on fire or leaking fuel..

Nice, but there's just one small big problem: the 777 (just like the 787 and the A350) are meant for long distances, which means very long and tedious (6h+, 10h+, 15h+) en route flight sections!
This is pretty much all the flight action time you're going to get (along with the descent)!!
