Once you get used to a thing and the difficulty you are playing, you know how much time takes you to do it by force of habit, kinda like knowing how much time is going to take you buy groceries.
I was always the only one who cared/did the work. In college every prof I had was like "Okay. If no one did anything then they can present without any notes and without your help. If I don't feel like it's decent they fail the project (which was always a final or like half the grade). Send me a paper for your presentation." Karma yall. No one get's an A by doing nothing.
When I was in middle school a teacher of mine tried to teach us a lesson making us take the same test. The test was: you have 10 pieces of equipment and you have to order them by importance and usefulness in case of a moon expedition. We all took the test individually, then we were divided in groups and took the test again together discussing the advantages of each tool. In the end my group was the best out all of the groups but unfortunately the test I took alone had the best score of all. So we learned that working in group is better unless you are me.
At the end I was expecting the camera to pan back to Karen to show she had found another puzzle to do during the extra half hour it took them, would have been so funny.
she made a video of like a kinda reaction kinda behind the scenes talk and she said once she was done they finished up with her and she left set then they continued the puzzle so she wasnt there when they finished

This is what the Try Guys channel should focus more on: elevating other RUclips channels with their niche hobbies and interests, exposing them to a wider audience, while also having some sort of tie-in (like a puzzle you can purchase). Win win for everyone involved :)
Agreed. They have so many videos dedicated to selling a piece of merch, and they make it fun or silly but at the end of the day it's just a glorified commercial and they get old. Selling it this way is interactive and subtle. Also, featuring a small channel, as you said, is super inclusive and keeps videos fresh. Jigsaw puzzles are literally the most satisfying thing in the world. That moment when you finish a whole section of colors or a face or something you get such a high hahaha. I really understand why people picked it up in quarantine lmao.
I hadn't done a puzzle in YEARS until quarantine and now I can't stop because they are so so satisfying to do. I just did my first 2 k piece puzzle recently and that was a huge challenge but so much fun
I think they should just bring Karen on for all their challenges just to bully them with trash talk. She doesn't even have to be participating. She can just be casually trash talking them.
4 vs 1 idea: like a triathlon / marathon so a person that is an expert and does swimming running bikes etc alone and you all compete against that persone, each doing just one so like keith swims, eugene bikes, etc. Seems like fun

I used to play foosball against four friends/family all the time. They always thought I was a genius, but I knew that they were the ones at the disadvantage and every time I see the Try Guys do a 4 Against 1 I laugh because it's almost always a guarantee that they won't win, even against a slightly above average person. But they have so much fun, I love their enthusiasm so much!
i think 2 people work out really well. 3 is hit or miss depending who the members are. 4 definitely starts getting chaotic unless you have a system in place to get it done or are used to splitting the work 4ways

@@micheal2458 Once or twice but as it's a longer drop I usually hear the pieces hit the floor. In the beginning, before I was used to operating a wheelchair and I used an old heavy lender from the hospital, I did squash a few pussel pieces (among other things) that happen to land right behind a tire. So annoying to know a piece is in the right place yet it won't fit properly and to have a finished puzzel with *one* wonky looking piece...Happy to say it hasn't happend since I got my new lighter wheelchair! Sorry for the late reply btw.

This may sound dumb but I really liked how you organized an interview with a team puzzle player to give you advice how to puzzle together and you competed against someone who is an expert at puzzling alone. It made it more interesting bc I didn't know how different the techniques are when you puzzle as a team

I have been really unsettled about the use of the name "Karen" to describe a particular type of person in a very negative way. I don't know anyone named "Karen" personally, but I figured the name's new use would likely have a harsh impact on anyone with that name. I once saw a comment that shared my concerns, and a following response that it would not affect them. I still have my doubts, though, and really sympathize for anyone actually named "Karen" who are being affected by the current trend.

@@micheal2458 Once or twice but as it's a longer drop I usually hear the pieces hit the floor.
In the beginning, before I was used to operating a wheelchair and I used an old heavy lender from the hospital, I did squash a few pussel pieces (among other things) that happen to land right behind a tire. So annoying to know a piece is in the right place yet it won't fit properly and to have a finished puzzel with *one* wonky looking piece...Happy to say it hasn't happend since I got my new lighter wheelchair!

Holy moly this was so unexpected. I knew of Karen back when she was known as a graphic designer, worked for the VlogBrothers, did a lot of design work for VidCon and other vlogbro related startups, but I didn't know she is ALSO a professional puzzle master???? What DOESN'T she excel at LMAO
Zach is like that one person in the group project that have good enthusiasm and thinks he's helping, but in reality did very little to help. lol. But I do appreciate him bonding over The Parent Trap with Karen, even if it's to distract her, lol.

This may sound dumb but I really liked how you organized an interview with a team puzzle player to give you advice how to puzzle together and you competed against someone who is an expert at puzzling alone. It made it more interesting bc I didn't know how different the techniques are when you puzzle as a team

I have been really unsettled about the use of the name "Karen" to describe a particular type of person in a very negative way. I don't know anyone named "Karen" personally, but I figured the name's new use would likely have a harsh impact on anyone with that name. I once saw a comment that shared my concerns, and a following response that it would not affect them. I still have my doubts, though, and really sympathize for anyone actually named "Karen" who are being affected by the current trend.

And the correlation between the name Karen and “crazy” women to is unsubstantiated without comparing and contrasting the behaviour of all “crazy” women and their names to see if it really is the Karen’s that come out on top or comparing the behaviour of every woman called Karen and seeing how crazy they all are, but again without having the same information for every woman’s name or even the top 100 you won’t truly get a context of how crazy on average a “Karen” is....
