Not an old song. An old poem, over 1400 years ago by Qays ibn al-Mulawwah, also known as “Majnun Lyala” which means ‘Madman’ in English. This love story (platonic love) is one of the famous stories in the arabic culture and inspired many artists. He spent his life writing poems about Layla, his cousin and only love and whose family refused to marry her to him. He then wandered in the desert for the rest his life writing poetry, died of sorrow at a young age.

The story was that Qais, upon his return to his village, found Laila her hands were red with henna, which is evidence that she had engaged to someone else When he asked her if she had forgotten him, she said that she cried so much for him that she wet the soil with her tears, and the dirt on her fingers became like henna.
the poet was written in classic arabic over 2400 years ago but the song itself isn't old i want to explain 5:39 " fingers were red " when arab women celebrating they put red henna in their palm and fingers so when the writer Qays ibn alMulawwah saw his lover Layla's hands with henna on them so he asked her ' are u happy that we broke up ? '
Abdurrahman Mohammed He takes arabic poetry and turns it into a song because it is not songs but sad poetry or parting Or about love. And so on Like Kazem Al-Saher would have done if you knew him..

I want to tell you that the words of this song are an old true story called the story of platonic love between a person called Jamil and a girl called Buthaina. It is an immortal love story among the Arabs, and he is the one who wrote these words and to them is the lineage of this type of love.
Oh brother thank you! This is a really remarkable video. FYI I am still fighting over Amr Diab's song bro😃😃 I am so stubborn and patient! I am not gonna let go of Nay music😃😃😃
The red fingers mean the Henna. Arabic people do henna when they are celebrating, or someone getting married. What why he asked her why there is Henna in your hands?
In the past when the hand of girl become red so that she has been marraied .. so he saw her hand in red he thought that she married when he left but she answer him that was blood from her eyes that was the meaning of the song
You should watch Abdulrahman Mohammed's "The Hope Will Never End Concert Playlist" in which Mr. Abdulrahman & bandmates performed live. The Man himself poured his heart & soul out singing along with the band. Give it a watch - I'm sure you'll enjoy everything about it.
Explain the verses!! And it is that Qais Ibn Al-Malouh wanted to travel, so Laila asked him, Where are you going? He said: I want to travel to publish my poetry and look for a livelihood for me and come back. Then I asked him when she would return, and he replied that he did not know. Years and years passed, then he came back, and when he came back, he found the fingertips of his beloved Layla, their color turned red. He said to her: Have you dyed your palms, Laila, after my separation and engagement? She said: No, but since you left I have been crying until I wet the soil (earth or dirt). And every day I wipe my tears with my hands until my hands bled.
Al-Amariah is Al-Saba, where Qais asked Laila what is the reason for this and what is the reason for the presence of the red color because it used to indicate that this girl is married or engaged
Translation old arab wemen put red hennah on their hands in happy celebrations so he met his girlfriend to say goodbye to her so he find her fingers red so he asked her you are happy because we are separated so she told her no this is the blood that I cried because you are leaving me

Actually the poet of this poem (Qays Ibn al-Mulawwah) died because of his love for Laila Al- Ameriya. He was called (Majnoun Laila)

Biz türkler və Kürtleriz yani Türkiye'nin Kürtleriyiz . Biz de düğün nişan mutluluk kutlama şölenlerde kına yakarlar.
These are very old poems without melody, not old songs, this is like singing today poems by Shakespeare, but with contemporary melody for example.
Old arabic poems
Before 1500 years old
❤🌧️استمع الى اغاني عبد الرحمن محمد عند المطر شعور عميق
Abdurrahman Mohammed He takes arabic poetry and turns it into a song
because it is not songs but sad poetry or parting Or about love. And so on Like Kazem Al-Saher would have done if you knew him..
Indeed, however Kazem mostly sings modern era Arabic poetry rather than the old one.
Abdel Rahman has a great heart touching voice .. and I like his unique taste of music and poem .. Please watch a song for him called (Ya mn Hwah)
