- Thorne enters his office at Forrester and finds Ridge there.Ridge tells Thorne not to worry,he knows whose office this is and just came by to drop off the latest sales report.He points out there high sales figures in Europe. Thorne agrees that Ridge's trip to Europe is responsible for those sales, betting that Ridge came by just to point that out.Ridge sarcastically responds that he thought that Thorne, as President,would be pleased that the company is still making money,despite Thorne's and their mother's "stellar business decisions." Thorne asks Ridge if there's someplace else he'd rather be.He then answers his own question, pointing out that Ridge has nowhere to go, since he dumped Taylor for Brooke, who doesn't want him!

I've always felt like B & B always made Thorne feel like "Second In Command". Even all Three Actors Clayton Norcross, Jeff Trachta and Windsor Harmon always took a back seat to Ronn Moss.
treg1980 , I think that Ronn Moss is attractive, but he's not a good actor. Yeah, all 3 Thorne's were better actors, but I think that Bell Sr. and Jr. have an obsession with the Ridge character. I would have liked to have seen those 2 get along because they're brothers.
@@msrain1235 They have. Bill Bell Sr. had it less though. With Jr, Ridge has to be front and center almost in every storyline. Kudos for being Thorne back and giving him stories too, though - although I'd like Windsor to continue in the role (he suddenly found Thorne storilines after he left the role).
Because Brad always wants Ridge to win, but it´s boring after 30 years. Ridge needs some serious competition and actually lose. The way Junior writes this show these days is f...g horrible. I had enough of his bad writing!
@treg1980 agree I never understod why Brooke and Taylor and Caroline was so crazy about Ridge while they had plenty of good nice and way better men chasing after them. I got disapointed that Bell dident let Taylor start out with Storm Logan talk about good storyline she and Brooke as sister in laws. The same with Caroline the old Storm the dark one was better looking then Ridge and Caroline loved Brooke´s family and they loved her.

Commitment is relative to what anyone makes it. No one really knows how long a relationship will last. Just because it makes sense to be with someone now, doesn't mean it always will. Couples grow apart and break up based on the forces and dynamics of life.
@@kellymcquay2626 it's a Forrester male trait. Eric did it, to Stephanie, Ridge did it Caroline, Brooke, Taylor, Ashley, Shauna, Katie, Thorne did it to Macy, Rick did it to Amber, Zende with Sasha. If they would have given Thomas a decent love life he would have had a backup plan girlfriend/wife, and Marcus wasn't given anyone except Steffy and Dayzee, but I'm sure if they would have kept him on longer he also would have had a backup going against Dayzee.

I'm more n more convinced that Ridge n Brooke deserve each other....because everything Thorne is saying is so spot on....Ridge is blaming his mother for the mess HE made.... Yes. I hated Ridge from this point on. Went from being somewhat agreeable to being an absolute wanker. I didn’t like Thorne much either; thought he was always trying to steal Ridge’s women. He was best with Macy.
But Thorne made total sense in this scene when he summed up what Ridge had done to both Brooke and Taylor. He played them against each other time and time again.
The show was SO much better when Nick, Massimo, and Jackie (The Marones) were on. Nick added a much needed layer of depth and perspective to the show.

I liked Nick because he was 20 times the person which was. He was interesting to watch instead of Ridge running between women all the time. I always thought at this stage of the show, Brooke should’ve been with Nick and Taylor should’ve been with Hector. When that didn’t work out, I stopped watching the show. Was the same merry-go-round...

When Nick was with Taylor I think that they were taking away from Brooke and Ridge's shine because there was another super couple that was new and not the same thing with Brooke and Ridge.
I can’t root for Thorne when he’s talking about how his brother treats women… Ask Macy how he betrayed her twice with Brooke and then Darla.

Throne is right the minute he saw Taylor he puts her back in competition with Brooke. It was never fair to both women.. they both cried their eyes out whenever he walked out to be with the next woman. Both ladies loved ridge more than themselves.
I've always felt that Winsor Harmon was 1000000 times a more natural and gifted actor than Ronn Moss. This clip confirmed that fact!

Ridge NEVER could handle the truth! Ingo needs to watch scenes like this, but he would still STINK! He and the alleged writers have destroyed the character “Thorne”.
I agree. I really like the first one but he didn’t stay on it for very long. And it looks like they destroyed a lot of the characters. Hate what they did to Thorne, Taylor and the whole storyline with her kids and Rick. It was disgusting and not at all entertaining. I stopped watching from that point on because it got too incestuous and ridiculous. As for Thorne, I know he did a lot of devious things especially in the earlier episodes with Caroline and then with Taylor but he never got the recognition that he deserved; considering he was an actual Forrester.
I love to see that part of Ridge proposing to Caroline the 2nd time to marry him. It was the most beautiful and romantic and exciting episode and also a day before

I loved Caroline but I loved Brooke more sure they was beautiful and romantic but for me it was always Bridge.
I’ve tried to find that as well but I can’t see it anywhere on RUclips. Maybe copyright?? I liked Ridge with Caroline too. She softened him and made him go from Casanova to a well rounded man. I never liked him with Brooke; it got too melodramatic & repetitive. Never saw any good storylines or script between the two of them. I loved how Ridge would look at Caroline when he spoke to her. It looked like he was starting to grow up but then went back to being indecisive & stupid...

Thorne has been in the same position as Ridge multiple times before and after. Ridge was happily married before and after. Life is not always going well. Thorne was an ass to rub it in his face like this for no appearent reason (besides his forever whining bad youth argument of course)

He’s an actual Forrester. Ridge needed to grow up and stop using women.

Ridge is an actual Forrester by name and by law, he is Eric Forrester's legal son. Biological stuff does not give him less rights. Stephanie was his mother by the way and she is one of the co-founders.

Donderdrammels You’re the one that said Thorne was gloating. I actually don’t think he’s gloating here, he’s telling Ridge how it is. Thorne was explaining how he feels now that he’s married and grounded and he’s got someone to come home to. But in the end, that’s how you interpret the clip and this is how I interpret it. Let’s just agree to disagree....
The writers have destroyed this whole story! Bell Jr. & the writers will never be able to hold a candle the original writing team that created this story. Today they write the story still as if Ridge NEVER PERSUED TAYLOR, that his one and only love was ALWAYS BROOKE. PLEASE , for all us original B&B viewers know RIDGE LOVED, PERSUED TAYLOR, while Brooke always threw herself at Ridge. Now that Stephanie and the original Ridge are gone, the writers are just rewriting the Brooke Ridge Taylor storyline with Hope Liam and Steffy. I’ll say it again, go back to the archives when Bill & Lee Bell wrote the story and try to see if you can at least get some inspiration to get the JUICINESS OF THIS STORY BACK. GOOD GRIEF CHARLIE BROWN...WHAT BLOCKHEADS YOU WRITERS ARE....UGH!
It was Germain Ridge was inmature and chosed women he thought was perfect unfortently they was not. Taylor was his second choice he chosed her since he wanted Brooke to be happy with his dad but he did cry on the way to St Thomas. He loved Taylor and idelized her therfore he chosed her and was happy with her but it was all a scam he loved the women he thought she was never really her the same with Caroline. Brooke was the only women he loved for her own and he loved her unconditionaly. Old Bell wanted Brooke and Ridge to marry first but younger one wanted the other women and then JJ Caroline on the show was about to leave he felt that Ridge had to marrying her first. If you know the history you would know that it was always Brooke. And Taylor throwed herself at him to and so did Caroline. Taylor even admitted to had chased after him.
The fact that the writers came up with such a vile storyline in the beginning of Eric with Brooke and then Ridge with Brooke, was a turn off in itself. If they had any class, they would’ve let Ridge move on with Taylor and have a happy life. They could’ve continued the triangle of Stephanie, Eric and Brooke. It was interesting on its own. I don’t know why they needed to have Ridge sleep with his stepmum and procreate with her later on. And then once Taylor died in 2002, they shouldn’t either left her dead or brought her back and given her new man. Instead they made the women in the show disgustingly weak and crazy and Ridge come off like some sort of superhero who got to constantly choose between them. I’m surprised no one in this family got AIDS or STDs...
@@katarinasvensson831 no, from the time Brooke stepped into the Forrester mansion catering a party with her mother and saw Ridge she went after him. Didn’t care he was with Caroline until her father pulled the stunt for her to find Ridge with another woman the night before their original wedding. Brooke and Caroline were friends and when she got with Ridge she threw it in Caroline’s face every chance she got. She even plotted with Thorne to keep Caroline’s letter from Ridge. Eventually when Ridge slept with Caroline unbeknownst to her & Thorne found out, he shot his own brother. Stephanie was a Brooke fan until she went after Eric. The senior Bells brought Taylor in purposely for the Ridge Brooke Taylor storyline. Stephanie told Brooke when she found out about Thomas and confronted Brooke, that she went after Whatever she wanted & it didn’t matter who it hurt. Brooke asked are you talking about Ridge because he belonged to Stephanie, and Stephanie said no, he belonged to Caroline and you didn’t care you went after him anyway. That’s how the Senior Bells wrote the story. Ridge always had a thing for Taylor from the beginning.
Ridge has ALWAYS thought he was superior over Thorne! Every chance he got he made Thorne feel like he didnt matter! Stephenie didnt help matters when she clearly favored Ridge over Thorne! Thorne was right about how he has two women fighting over him, an Ridge not caring about how he has hurt both women! He hates that Thorne called him out on that! Ridge has never loved or respected his brother! Always putting him down, that he's weak! Truth hurts when your own brother calls you out on treating Brooke & Taylor so badly!
