Hey everyone hope you enjoyed the reaction!! About to Watch Deadpool and Wolverine in an hour, but just wanted to let you know I did also watch Blade which will be coming out after Deadpool 3!! See you tomorrow for Deadpool 2 and Wednesday for Deadpool and Wolverine!!
I’m actually not surprised at all that you enjoyed it…cause even tho it’s full of gorey violence and some seriously raunchy jokes, yes. BUT…it’s also got a lot of heart and quite a few genuinely emotional and sincere moments sprinkled in. In fact…as odd as it may sound to someone who hasn’t already watched it…it’s extremely good at not only including those heartfelt moments but seamlessly transitioning from R rated action and humor to super emotionally weighted and back again, just so damn well my dude! Same goes for the other 2 Deadpool movies! 😘👌 I swear my dude People don’t give Ryan Reynolds nearly enough credit for that imo. I mean like seriously tho…he’s legitimately amazing at being able to almost instantly switch from one to the other and it’s 100% believable every time ffs! This was an awesome reaction btw man! 😅👍😉
Fun Fact: Ryan Reynolds was allowed to keep his Deadpool costume after filming had completed. (Technically he didn't ask to, nor did he give anyone the chance to take it from him.) When 20th Century Fox found out about this, the studio just let him keep it. And I'd say he more than earned it.
I love how Dopinder (the cabbie) calls him "Mr. Pool" or "DP." It's so cute. ❤ It's definitely one of those movies that feels so wrong to like so much, because it's SO crude... but it's just SO funny! And like you pointed out, they really make you feel for Deadpool / Wade and what he went through, and hope for him and Vanessa, which I really like a lot.
10:50 Bro just had one hell of an introduction to the world of p*gging 🤣🤣🤣 Also, fun fact: After this movie, Ryan Reynolds adopted Deadpool's charismatic sense of humor as his own supposedly as a way to overcome his anxiety.
I swear, Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. All those witty oneliners and 4th wall breaks are legendary, and you can tell he's having a blast. He just nails the part.
Fun fact: Daniel Cudmore, who portrayed Colossus in X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men: Days of Future Past, had turned down reprising the role in this film. He was replaced with Andre Tricoteux. And Cudmore said he was unhappy with the idea of only doing motion capture work while another actor Stefan Kapičić dubbed over his lines.
Nick I hope you see this and consider this one reaction suggestion: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse. It's an animated short film that won at the Oscars last year. The film and the book it's based on is one of the most tender, beautiful, healing things I've ever seen, truly. And even if it isn't something that makes its way here in the form of a reaction, I hope you'll watch it anyway. It's downright life-affirming. And knowing you, I think you'll deeply appreciate it. Not to mention it is absolutely *gorgeous* to watch; just incredible hand-drawn animation
I think that a big part of what makes the Deadpool movies quite so enjoyable is that... yes. Wade is crass, has an awful sense of humor, and... next to no compunctions about killing bad guys, but... it does not come from a place of hating everything about the world. It is because he cares a LOT, but he can't really reconcile that with how awful the world is. Acting like he doesn't care is just... easier for him when it comes to coping with everything that he sees wrong with the world. But... he really DOES care. Enough to slaughter his way through however many people stand between him and what he cares about, cracking the WORST jokes possible the whole way through.
by the way, when you watch "X-men origins: wolverine", Deadpool is also in that. but it is a VERY different Deadpool. that last scene with him in the bathrobe was a nod to the movie "Ferris Beuller's day off" which you should also see.
I remembered watching Deadpool for the first time, I’ve also seen it with my friend back in High School during free time or lunch, and the sequel as well.
This was, truthfully, one of the best reactions I have ever seen! Two things you may have missed... He kept asking for information on where to find Francis... Well, remember, HE was the only person that knew that that was his name, so no one could answer him! If he had asked for Ajax, he probably could have found him MUCH sooner! I never that that for YEARS! The other is that the ship they were fighting on was one of the Helicariers from the Avengers movies!
7:24 Fun fact: In this scene, Ryan is wearing a t shirt with Bea Arthur's likeness on it, because apparently he's a HUGE Golden Girls fan. He paid 10,000 dollars out of his own pocket to get permission to have it in this movie. He spoke with Bea Arthur's sons personally, and worked out a deal that the 10,000 dollars would go to Bea's charity in exchange. His swords also have Bea and Arthur on the hilts.
5:31 I say yes because they all take place in the same universe even though they used time travel to reboot everything, and you would've gotten to know the characters better, especially Hugh Jackman as Wolverine Here's the list of X-Men movies: X-Men (2000) X2: X-Men United (2003) X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) X-Men: First Class (2011) The Wolverine (2013) X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) Deadpool (2016) X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) Logan (2017) Deadpool 2 (2018) X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019) The New Mutants (2020) Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) BTW, all of these X-Men movies take place in the same universe called Earth-10005, which is very different and separate from the MCU, which is Earth-616/199999 AKA the Sacred Timeline
I get a huge kick out of the part where Deadpool says "Wait!! You're probably wondering why the red suit? Well, that's so bad guys don't see me bleed. This guy's got the right idea, he wore the brown pants." 😅😅😂😂🤣🤣
I thought it was a great reaction, considering you went in apprehensive, and not really know what you were getting yourself into. Can’t wait for the next one!
"This isn't your cup of tea", however, it's always good to steep a different blend, so I do hope you will enjoy it! Maybe Irish it up? Maybe a little rum? Either way, it's very worth it! 😜 👍
I honestly didn't think I'd like this movie when i first watched it but now Deadpool's one of my favourite marvel superheroes, and honestly Deadpool vs Wolverine is one of my favourite acted movies I've seen in a couple of years. The thing I really appreciate about the writing along all three is how they can switch to gore to humour to wholesome stuff on a dime, and how well they pull it off! 👏
Sorry, forgot to say in the intro, but I have seen Logan and the first 3 X-Men movies before recording this. But I also did watch Blade a couple days ago because some people told me to watch it before Deadpool 3!!
Ah yes, Deadpool! One of the most surprising comic book films in my opinion. I really love how it doesn't try to be like other superhero movies! It took a huge risk and they did it well! Ryan Reynolds is perfect as Deadpool! He really brings the character to life! There wasn't a single moment in this film that I found to be uninteresting! Can’t wait for you to react to Deadpool & Wolverine!
Glad that you enjoyed this film Nick. I can’t wait to see you react to the rest of the franchise. By any chance, have you seen any of these following Marvel films; Daredevil? Elektra? Ghost Rider? Punisher?
I’m actually not surprised at all that you enjoyed it…cause even tho it’s full of gorey violence and some seriously raunchy jokes, yes. BUT…it’s also got a lot of heart and quite a few genuinely emotional and sincere moments sprinkled in. 17:33 The X-Men movies you probably saw were the original trilogy, with Patrick Stewart as Professor X. The newer ones with their own continuity ("First Class", "Days of Future Past", and "Apocalypse") have James McAvoy in that role. ("Origins: Wolverine" came out in between the two so it's not really clear which one it's a part of, and I don't know about "Dark Phoenix") Deadpool was just curious which X-Men continuity his sub-franchise is supposed to be a part of.
I remember going to watch this in the cinema. I was expecting toilet humour and gross outs- it really surprised me how emotional it was. Deadpool 2 is okay but I absolutely LOVED Deadpool and Wolverine. I feel you’ll probably enjoy them more. 😂
35:37- What's especially funny about this is that this joke wasn't originally going to be in the film. There was supposed to be this huge climax with a wide assortment of guns at Deadpool's disposal, but they literally didn't have the budget for it.
Wade and Logan have some seriously messed up tragic backstories and current stories. They both go through some extreme levels of pain and both are stuck having long lives. Logan's more just slow aging, Wade however has the curse of immortality. I am amazed how many people don't realize Deadpool is a mutant and watching the X-Men beforehand does help to understand what Francis and his group was doing when they mention unlocking the x-gene. I do hope you watch the Blade, Elektra and Daredevil, and X-Men films as you will see more references and also they are pretty good superhero movies. At 17:34 that McAvoy reference would've been awesome if you'd seen X-Men First Class- that film who ever the casting director was did amazing when it came to the younger versions of Xavier and Eric. 37:50 Bob works for Hydra however do to Disney having the rights to Hydra we dont see them dressed in Hydra uniforms or symbols. Bob is said to be Wade's best friend but I believe Spider-Man is more Wade's best friend.
Deadpool is exactly what he says; he is not a good guy, just a bad guy who kills worse guys. I'm pretty sure Deadpool is the way he is *bcs* of the torture he went through, going insane and breaking his mind basically, this movie sort of ruins that element. Not too big a deal but that is how he's the way he is after what he went through
OK, here are all the X-Men movies you should watch in order x-Men X-Men two X-Men the last stand X-Men origins wolverine X-Men first class the Wolverine X-Men days of future past Logan X-Men Apocalypse
Let. Me warn you the deadpool movies Are Rated R They? Do contain a lot of very graphic violence and very bloody glory content. And there's a lot of strong language.
i tried watching deadpool. i stopped at the sex scene. my friend warned me that it would be vulgar. i thought she meant lots of swearing and sex references. but why did they include a sex scene?
Hey everyone hope you enjoyed the reaction!! About to Watch Deadpool and Wolverine in an hour, but just wanted to let you know I did also watch Blade which will be coming out after Deadpool 3!! See you tomorrow for Deadpool 2 and Wednesday for Deadpool and Wolverine!!

Did he really? Awesome!
I love how Dopinder (the cabbie) calls him "Mr. Pool" or "DP." It's so cute. ❤

Honestly a reaction I did but didn't expect from him by the scene lol
It will be first time for Disney
I swear, Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. All those witty oneliners and 4th wall breaks are legendary, and you can tell he's having a blast. He just nails the part.
That Is So True! There's no other Deadpool than Ryan Reynolds.
44:28 Reference to Ferris Beullers day off, another movie with 4th wall breaking
I love watching Deadpool! He’s very cool! He’s awesome! Ryan is such an awesome guy

Hyped for Deadpool and Wolverine reaction! Going to be a good time 🤘
Same!!!!!😊😊😊😊
The first Deadpool movie is a classic to me.
I think that a big part of what makes the Deadpool movies quite so enjoyable is that... yes. The other is that the ship they were fighting on was one of the Helicariers from the Avengers movies!
Fun fact!! The building they use for the X-Men school is the same building they used in Descendants for Auradon Prep!
7:24 Fun fact: In this scene, Ryan is wearing a t shirt with Bea Arthur's likeness on it, because apparently he's a HUGE Golden Girls fan.

I love that line just for it being repurposed from the leaked footage that created the demand for the movie to be completed in the first place.

And the Fantastic Four
In my opinion, the two with Jessica Alba and Chris Evans were better than the one that came out about 10 years ago.
Wow Nicky, you’re pushing these out often! PUTTING IN THE WORK!
I’m actually not surprised at all that you enjoyed it…cause even tho it’s full of gorey violence and some seriously raunchy jokes, yes. BUT…it’s also got a lot of heart and quite a few genuinely emotional and sincere moments sprinkled in.
