This scene made me want to learn to fight with a rapier. Magnificent Valor. Better to die in a pool of my own blood than an old man dieing in a puddle of my own piss... so many great lines in this movie.
It's not historical by any stretch of the imagination (although historically based), but an extremely condensed, action oriented version, of Alexandre Dumas' book, "The Vicount of Bragelogne", which is the third story of the Musqueteers, after "The Three Musqueters and "20 Years After". All are excellent reads.
One of the best medieval soundtracks of all times for sure
not medieval thou. If you mean the setting the movie is based on is the 17th century.

I WEAR THE MASK, THE MASK DOES NOT WEAR ME
This Soundtrack goes under my skin 🤩😍
Great movie and music - Reminds me of The Rock with Nick Glennie Smith and Hans Zimmer as Music Directors
I know this comment is from seven years ago,but I always thought so too.as a matter of fact just saw the rock and it brought me here.
MAGNIFICENT VALOR!!!!!!
When I first heard that song and I didn`t know who composed it, I thought it was Hans Zimmer. Their styles are so similar
Nick Glennie Smith is, after all, a member of Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions music company.
Me too
1:50 esta parte de la melodía me recuerda a la banda sonora de "la Asesina"con Bridget Fonda, compuesta por
Hans Zimmer
@@Maddy47 ...yes I thought it sounded a bit 'Hans Zimmery'

I've started 2018 reading "The count of Monte-Cristo" anda listening to this soundtrack: It couldn't be better!
You should have read The Vicomte de Bragelonne ;)
Watching them charge at the troops: King "shoot" Knight second in command "Magnificent valor......"
I'm actually sad that this track isn't called "Magnificent Valor", would of been fitting.
It’s like as if Hans Zimmerman and Mark Mancina are playing together.
