Hey, new video! I have a hypothesis that Mistral was planned to be comrade of Raiden's. In this hypothetical storyline, Raiden would develop feelings for Mistral, with her then being revealed as part of Desparado. This mostly comes from the earlier version of "A Stranger, I Remain". The line "Don't let become the one you love" could be indicative of this. It would also give more meaning to the title and the line that it comes from: "A stranger, I remain". She started out as a stranger to Raiden, being new, Raiden began to get to know her and develop feelings for her. Then she betrays him, making her a stranger once again. This is all speculation, and I could very much be wrong, but I still like the concept.

In this timeline mistral and raiden plan to take down desperado together as they were comrades when they were younger but later on by Sam it is revealed she ends being a former desperado spy In this time line raiden gets his enhancements and mistral gets her arms upgrade and they both land on the shores and the refinery ends up being managed by (I cannot remember his name but the guy bladewolf kills in his dlc)
