You make best F-16 tutorials man, thank you.
Absolutely LOVE how straight to the point your tutorials are. Played DCS on and off for a couple years and these are exactly what I am looking for. Keep up the amazing work!
Nice channel. ILS for dummies might be another good topic.
Great content. This is a complete quick reference library. Thanks Bogey Dope
Do you have a good memory or are you writing those down after checking the map?
Dobber left - button 7 - choose a target and TMS up - enter. Here you have new spt without manual coordinates input. Btw they added FIX option, you can now calibrate your existing steerpoints.
Yep. None of that was an option when I posted this video. Probably time to make a new updated video.
Do you have a discord that new players to DCS multiplayer can possibly fly with you? Or other people familiar with the GUI updater? I’ve really been wanting to learn how to make my own online server. I’m good at mission edit stuff, but no idea how SkateZilla GUI Updater works.
@@BogeyDope Yes plz, would be awesome - or just point to Wags vid on this...
As much as the GR videos are helpful... Your videos are my speed. Def can fit in with your style!!! Thanks click much better with your teaching method.
thank you sir...
You can now just click on the co-ordinate box to change the co-ordinate type❤
Is there a way to use mark points instead, similar to how it works in the A-10?
Sorry for the LONG delay. They are just now starting to add that capability into the F-16. Hopefully soon we'll be able to do what the A-10's JHMCS does.
@@BogeyDope Thank you.
That would be awesome if we could do half of what the A-10 could do with the JHMCS. The only thing I know how to do is to make a mark point a steer point by pressing number 7, making sure the HUD is SOI, hold TMS forward long and the symbol will pop up on JHMCS. TMS forward short to ground stabilize and then hit “RCL” to turn that into a steer point.
We still need the functionality of the A-10 though. The scorpion just rocks.
‘You can send co-ordinates to your wingman…’ How???
press and hold "IFF transmit IN"
@@Stormrider-Flight 👍
Now we can see coordinates with LEFT ALT + LEFT MOUSE BUTTON.
Yup. Made a quick video about it - ruclips.net/user/shortsGnJNEs7LZhI?si=_TqvsDSW2l8GA-4D
How do you get to the page that says uhf and vhf from the ins page
At 3:14 into the video. Press dobber switch left.
thank you@@BogeyDope
The page that says UHF and VHF is called the CNI page (communication, navigation, identification). It's sort of the "home screen" on the DED. No matter what page your DED is on, Dobbering left (return) will always take you to the CNI page.
How do you remove unwanted steer points?
You can either set the coordinates for that so to all zeros. Or replace it with coordinates to a so you want.
@@BogeyDope thank you. Love your videos btw
How do fighter f16 pilots get these co-ordinates in real life?
Briefing, knee board, tacp, sof operators, etc.
@@BogeyDope like ground troops?
@@encryptedaviation1452 In some cases, yes.
It starts flashing at me when i put there the cordinstes
If it is flashing, then you put the coordinates in incorrectly. Typically this is because people forget to put a '0' before the East/West coordinate if the first number is only two digits. The East/West must be three digits. So if it's only 20, then it needs to be put in as 020.
@@BogeyDope I did this on both cau and syria map and my steerpoint is always somewhere off the map or far away i have no idea what am i doing wrong
@@AlenB29 not sure. I would have to see what you're doing.
@@BogeyDope i rejoined and then it worked, thanks for answer anyways 👌🏻😂
