In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all! - Развлечения
I love when the neighbors interact with you, and appreciate how kind they are. You're so kind to educate them on metal and scrapping. 💛
It's easy to tell that Mike's a really decent guy 👍
Mr. Mike, I'm having serious back issues that bed ridden I am. I lay here and get the biggest smile when your video's pop up. Thank you for the smile you give thru the pain I have.
I have terrible back issues too. I find moving around helps lube the bones or joints..I know sometimes ya just need a rest.
I sure hope you get to feeling better. Glad I can help a little 🙏🏻
I feel you on that issue
I was there a few years ago it sucked bigtime just be careful with the pain medicine that can be a whole different nightmare
Healing prayers
My father had a radial arm saw identical to that one. We used that thing for all kinds of building projects. Brings back some good memories.
Even to this day the radial arm saw is quite competitive when it’s squared up right. Their really a cool piece of machinery
I always appreciate how clean you leave things! I had a fridge out on the curb and a scrapper came by he unloaded some bundles of sticks in the street and then didn’t pick them all back up again! I had to go out and pick them up and put them in our yard waste bin. I was like Mike wouldn’t ever do that!!
This week on curbside Tetris, Mike manages to fit an entire patio furniture set on top of a full load! LOL. I love watching you organize and fit everything in. Master of logistics.
Mike, watching you go for the scrappy scrap scrap reminds me of my days back at the landfill back in the 70's. Yes a long time ago but I just can't believe what people throw away. It's always a pleasure to kick back with a cold one and watch you find all the treasures out there. 😁
It was another really hot day today Mike. But then it rained something we haven't had in over 4 weeks. Wow I have fresh drinking water, water to take a shower. Mother Nature finally came in and gave us a good drenching. I enjoy living off the grid and I think things are finally starting to look up. Good to see you're out there still collecting. Good luck this week stay cool
That was a serious game of truck Tetris. Quite a collection of interesting things. Wishing you and your lady a blessed week, gentle weather and restful evenings. Peace brother
Have been binge watching these videos for days! Thank you for all you do Mike!
You bet! I love what I do!
@Mike The Scavenger when ya goin back too the rivers ?? It’s hot 🥵
✌️
@@MikeTheScavenger consider getting some business cards made for scrapping when you interact with the public, give them a card for the next time you're in the area. I bet they hold it for you. Folks unconsciously like helping other people.
Hi, Mike the Scavenger! I appreciate your passion about curbsiding and dumpster diving. You always seem to look for true value instead of just chucking it off your truck for a buck. That puts you way above the pack in my book. Take care out there!
Call him what you want but don't call him lazy. He out there gettin it.
Mike I just wanna say you truly are the man you work your butt off to make a living and to keep things out of the landfills you are a Chad we need more people like you in this world it would be a lot better place keep up the good work and keep on being you you have a awesome sense of humor Mike thanks for all you do
Love the screaming fan blades!
Love the sound effects and packing skills.
Thanks Mike. Hope the girls are all doing well. 💙❤️❤️❤️
If I found that patio furniture I'd be taking it home spending some time on renewing it to either keep or resell, It looks as though it still had a good bit of life left in it.
Mike, I love your videos. You are such a hard working young man.
Hi Mike , I live in central Texas myself . I love your channel . I enjoy watching all the things you find . I'm legally blind and have to wear really thick glasses just to watch what you're doing but it's fun for me . Thanks for giving me some joy in my day .
It is so cool how you throw stuff in and Dottie organizes it for you so you can fit more 🙂
I love watching your exploits on your rounds.
You should be on the main TV channels, you're certainly an hit with us guys.
Charlie from sherwood forest in the 🇬🇧
Gosh I wish I could find some patio furniture that nice on the curb, especially that rocker. I have been wanting some but it just hasn't been in the budget. But I'm sure glad you had a great scrap run. You work so hard out in this brutal heat, I appreciate it and am glad you take us along. Stay safe and GOD bless
Mike would have the perfect voice for an animated character in a kids movie/tv show. Lol. For real.
Thanks for taking us along today !!! I always Crack up when you say oooh watch yo head !!!
Can't say it enough always love me some early in the day Mike the Scavenger action. Enjoyed it Mike, you have a good evening.😎👊🏻
Lawn furniture and black ornate fence worth a lot more than scrap for anyone for a garden area. Wish I had them for a little garden landscape . GREAT VIDEO !
Hey wild man you are at the top of my watch list as i watch many scrapers and you are about the only one that will take some small trash if it cleans up the spot on the street ...that in my opinion
speaks more of what you are all about than just making a buck as what we give is what we get in life even with the small stuff ...God bless and good safe hunting
It is such a pleasure watching you get out and work hard. Thank you for taking us along. These may not be posted as ASMR, but for all of us following you, they really are.
Talk about a lucky day, one packed truck with great scrap $$$. Becareful in this heat Mike. 🙂👍🙂👍✌🎸
Love that old lawn furniture. We have 4 chairs and two side tables just like them.
Awesome street scrap session you found some pretty good stuff five stars brother
You should open your own garden patio business Mike finding all the right scrap and selling it for higher then scrap value, way to go...
I own an Iron Flask and it is by far the best coffee mug that I have ever owned. Good Find, Mike.
Mike, when you break off the ceiling fan fins and the painful sounds come out, it cracks me up.
Awesome load of scrap my man! Keep on doing whatcha do !
Mike doesn't look bulky but he's strong. Lifting those heavy scraps is no joke. I tried once lifting just the whole top housing with motor of a standing floor drill and I had to endure the pain for 2 weeks and I used to lift objects weight around 100lbs. Admiration!
Morning mike!
Man, that load looked like Sanford And Son meets The Clampetts moving to Beverly Hills. Would love to find some of that metal lawn furniture. Really diggin' that stuff.
Mike, I'm amazed at what people throw out and you find!
i love the way you can just go take stuff from the curb side !!!!! here in the uk it doesnt happen too much
That was a tall order for Dottie. Nice load! Keep hydrated
Thats one heck of a nice fence!!
Love all the patio furniture wish I were near Texas I would buy that from you in a heartbeat. Great haul Mike great haul. Stay safe in the heat out there.
Too funny with the sound affects.🤣🤣🤣
Making those ceiling fans scream like that is hilarious! 🤣😆😂
Stack it Low and Stack it High - wow - Lots of Curbside Goodies - well done ! Yes - we love that Radial Arm Saw ! Buy them New - they are Not Cheap at all - what a Great Find ! Nice Video and Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
The sound effects are hilarious but my fav is the dumpster punch 👊
and the cat screeching from inside the Dumpster we thought it was a real cat trapped inside the dumpster it would scare us the the loud screeching sound . we miss that sound effect .
Greetings Mike. Please send thhise blacks rails over to Nacho stuff. Thank you for sharing/,passing knowledge and blessings forward. Everyone loves Mike including us viewers. Please be careful and don't get hurt/injured. God bless your family. Family friendly always
I love the old tools especialy those that have made in Britian or made in America because those are the ones that you know will last for years and even if they do brake down you know that its not going to cost you an arm and leg to fix it.All the Best from Dundee Scotland.👍👍✌👊👊
good night Mike 🎉
Great job Mike, I got a full load ready to turn in my self. Have a great week
Always look forward to your videos thanks
Nice scraps sir. Stay hydrated while out there in the scrap jungle.
Un saludo desde México me gustan tus videos
I love the way you “Tetris” things!!
You could probably sell those black garden doors, and those two really pretty lights. Also that metal garden set, if you painted it with rust paint you’d get a LOT more money then just scrapping them. And that’s a Huge Set. Here in Ontario Canada, we’d paid a ton for all that metal stuff. I mean, all of that is VERY PRETTY. And I have to say, in your dumpster videos, I really miss watching you pack up Dottie. It may sound strange but I do.
Love you 😘🇨🇦
Sweet Mike Radio Arm Saw 👀 me Dewalt 4 boxes and 2 air nailguns and new grinder today sold em hour later hardly any scrap the heat is terrible keep cool mike!!!; )
Back to the past with that microwave sure was an old one. I guess that’s what you meant to say. That patio furniture set would definitely be a great sale as well as those chandeliers. Great video with some great finds. 👍🏽 👌 😎
In the winter, you should dress up in a trash panda costume to keep warm. Would be hilarious to see a giant racoon digging through the dumpsters.
I hope you didn’t break anything. That one piece was a gut buster.🐎🌻✌️
It’s Hot we need “ The River Scavenger “
Please ,Thank You
✌️😎
You must be a Very strong 💪 young man !!! Love watching your chanel.
Years ago I was looking through a Sears catalog…saw a scroll saw and bought it on a whim…never even touched a tool before. But I loved it…got good with it, and kept all of my fingers! It was great fun…but years ago. That radial saw brought it back!
Man that's a 500 dollar patio set around here. People love that stuff.
09:53 "Wash off with the water hose."
That is so Texas. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The patio furniture looks legit. You might try to sell that stuff. That big kettle burner is from a restaurant. It may be too rusty though.
Another orsome rid along with Mike I thought the guy was bringing you cup of coffee keep up the good work bro respect 🤙😎
Dotty tetris! Love it, thanks Mike 😊 ❤
Gotta love them side rails ya put on your truck !!
Awesome stuff Mike. Keep up the great work.
That patio furniture set was pretty nice! Just needs a couple of cans of flat black paint and you could sell it for an easy $150 or more!
Loved your video 😅. Lots of everything. Be safe and God bless
Nice day of scrappin'!!
I have the largest iron flask, cotton candy. Love it.
Love the sound effects of breaking the fan blades off
My dad used his radial saw every weekend! ❤
I giggled a little bit when you picked up that washer because yesterday I picked up a 264 lb refrigerator and didn't grunt as much as you LOL
Thanks Mike! Always appreciate it man!
Yeah you started out right I see you have the walls up on the truck already OMG I am glad I'm sitting down😂😂I am just picking on you my favorite blogger❤❤
Mike, a lot of times when those washers get stuck with water the pump is clogged with something small like a sock or something. It is easy to get the pump off and check it.
If it is something plugged in the pump, pull it out with a screwdriver. Those things sell good used and it is way more than scrap price for little effort.
That was really a nice road today Mike how are your fur babies
Ouch on the fan that hurt me !! Love it 😀
Stay safe and cool Thanks for sharing Great video
That's a real nice burner. Clean and paint the patio furniture and sell it for a few hundred bucks.
Thanks for the video bro
Heck yea I have a radio arm just like that one.
Still cuts like butter
My wife would freak out over that patio furniture.
Hey Scavenger Nation! Mike’s sneaking up to half a million subscribers. Please share with your friends.
Always enjoy your videos thanks man have a great day hope you stay hydrated
I still have one them radial saws in my basement. I got it free years ago. But they stated it’s a death machine
Heavy load once more. Stay well Mike 💪👍😎
Thank you.
I gotna radial arm saw like that. Your right. They don't make new ones like they used too. It is awesome still cuts amazing!
Wow Mike that was a nice picking
Can I volunteer to be the little old lady that rides in the back in her rocker! 😂🤣😘
I love you gentleman thanks for the videos
HI Mike great curbside video Dotty filled up very fast. and that juice was on the loose fast. LOL LOL please stay safe with this crazy heat .
Maybe it's the weather, but there seems to be less scrapping videos at the moment. So I appreciate you're efforts and the regular videos✌
You never disappoint. Stay on fire
I would keep the single burner great for making moonshine or Louisiana style boil I mean to tell you the best of the best.
Wish I was closer to u I would buy the out door furniture in a heart beat.
