Family story 😊 my grandfather in Wisconsin bought one of these from a door to door salesman. I never saw it and always wondered what it was. Thanks much for sharing.
Thank you! I have had one of these in my life for over 40 years and never knew until today while searching for info before I threw it away! so cool to now know!
I see it as a combination of a European zither and a bowed psaltery. The zither has the chorded strings and melodic plucked strings, whereas the psaltery has the bowed strings.
Hmmm! It's basically a bowed psaltery with some of the chords from some types of zither thrown in. Did you sample the chord side too? What about plucking the melody strings?
I want to know more about decent sampler. Can you add in sustain function for your libraries in it? How would you feel about others monetizing if they made libraries for the platform? Also, how do you get the basic piano on the iOS app? I’ve recently stumbled on your channel and I love all the cool work you’re doing.
David seriously?? you keep bringing amazing instruments to our world! You are awesome! thank you

David, your work shows the world we live in is beautiful if we block out the noise. Thank you, you've inspired me.
Those sustains are lovely! Definitely going to be using this! Thanks, sir!

I just purchased it- and it sounds really nice and unique!
Bought and will use on my next project as it will be perfect for it - thanks David
Sounds amazing!
Very cool! Well done!

It’s actually a bowed psaltery crossed with a ukulele (you can kinda see the shape of the uke with a real thick neck).

Exactly. Yes, I did sample the chords. I actually can’t remember if I sampled the plucked notes.
