Yes, I was hoping the same, that he somehow traveled while he was in prison. But I think that that scene where she watches the film in which he kills her is too damn underrated. Why? She says, right there ''He knew that whatever is at the end of that tunnel it's worse than death". This is really important, as much as the fact that he kills himself right after he kills her. And, in the finale, we've seen the fate of those who get to the end of the tunnel. So, in a way, in a world where he was supposed to be the worst version of himself, he still saved her somehow, from a fate worse than death, and than shot himself for it. Btw, great video.
I really like their chemistry and dynamic. Their story was tragic but undeniably it was true love... Even lost through realities. The song is just perfect for them. Love the scenes from the series 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
The moment i watched Juliana slit his throat then it was the end for me. I couldn't watch the next episode because of it. They shouldn't kill his character just like that. I really hope the lovable Joe from the AU will be in the next season. And if he doesn't there is no reason to watch it. 😔
This makes me so freaking emo 😫, an amazing video. What they did to his character was a cheap move. They built his character so much much making him one of the damn main ones. They built this whole extreme connection he has with Juliana appearing with her in multiple films and it just ends only having appeared in a few episodes of season 3?!. I'm so close to calling it quits with this show.
Same here..i could not even get myself to watch the rest of the episodes after ep.5.. i hate to think theyre building a new relationship between juliana and that wyatt guy which sucks!! They just ruined the most beautiful ship joeliana.. and they’re gonna regret it..
It was written in the book. It was meant to happen. And there's so much more to the show than their relationship. But either way he isn't gone is he. He exists in other realities and will most likely travel.
@@megchapman3776 Yes, it's true she kills him in the book but they only have sex without much more attachment. His purpose was way less in the book. We didn't even know much anything about his past at all. He was more a side character, so much more different than a series expanding far more than the book and adding way more. Plus it wouldn't have been strange to not kill him as they already aren't following major things from the book. He was a fan favorite for sure because of how much more depth they gave his character in the series compared to the book. Also his death in the book felt more necessary as he started getting possessive with Juliana and threatening her life. Yes, he did this in the series but he'd just been finished being tortured and brain washed for who knows how long. I'm not trying to tie the series to book since both are taking major different directions from each other.
Sitting here crying after watching that scene. He honestly deserved it at the end. He was using her for his own personal gains at the end and they just turned him evil. Once they were definitely on different sides, I knew one of them was going to end up dead. Whether it was her in the tunnel or him somewhere else, there was no other way it could have turned out, unfortunately. I just wish they didn't have to get so close at the end.
I agree with the other commenter. They tortured him for God knows how long and practically brain washed him. That would change anyone and make them do about anything. I feel like the way they ended joe was a cheap move to his character.
I actually really love John's character. To me, it's the most deep, conflicted and interesting. I think there is more to his motives than we see now. I think he's just compelled to see his son again and do whatever it will take for that to happen. I'm just not sure how "loyal" he is to the Nazis. Joe's SL is a little "meh" to me, but we shall see what happens. I like Liam more. :D
Well, that's kinda what happens when you torture and brainwash people. The NAZIs broke him mentally. I think him killing Juliana in other time lines was an act of mercy because he knew what was at the end of the tunnel and didn't want her to die like that. He, like Smith, is a complicated character with multiple facets.
Great video, very beautiful, thank you very much for sharing! I'm still in denial about Joe's death. I hope so much that we'll meet another version of Joe in a parallel world in season 4. Alexa and Luke have a great on-sceen-chemistry, it would be so sad to lose that for good. The series is sometimes so hard to watch, we need this lovestory to give us hope!
Ouch, my heart. Your vid is so perfect. It shows their relationship so well! And the song! Just wow. But like, hey yes, I'm super bitter over season 3. I think pretty much all of us are tbh.
Really hoping in a parallel world she finds him. I'd LOVE if she found John and they could actually work together somehow. I love their chemistry also. XD The man in high castle made it sound like if one person dies in their world, they can't exist in another. But that wouldn't make no sense why Tagomi could see his son and grandchild when he traveled, cause they are dead in their current world.
I think in order to travel to another world, that version of yourself has to be dead or not exist. "Other" Trudy was able to travel to the show's world because that Trudy was killed. And Tagomi travelled to another world because he was dead in that one. So basically you can't meet your other self. You take their "spot" in a way.
Oh please, did you *have to* include those last clips from season 3? I don't wanna be reminded of that. How am I supposed to be gonna be excited for season 4 when there's no more joeliana?😭 And of course I hope we're gonna see another Joe from a different world, but that's the point, he's gonna be different and will there ever be joeliana again? ARGH Anyways, thanks for the beautiful video, I'll never get enough and it's great to see how many people feel like me lol.
does anyoneee know any shows like this? this show was so perfect for me, i really loved the plot. the tension between julia and joe on opposite sides, and i really thought that he was on the path to some kind of redemption, guess not though, great edit
Como pudiste Juliana ? Estoy atascada en la temporada 3 con la esperanza de que algo cambie en el universo paralelo . No puedo creer el destino de Joe . Sigo en shock 😭
At the end, in all movies he ends up dying. In just every single movie they showed. I suppose it was Joe's destiny to die by suicide or killed by Juliana.
Guys, GUYS, GUUUUUYZ!!!! I got a theory that can explain what happened, and, even more, give us hope! So, considering what was shown in the 3 season, we were expecting at least two more seasons to conclude all the story lines. We had the storyline of Michelle Dörmer, a propaganda filmmaker, who was arrested by Himmler for being in a relationship with Thelma Harris, the journalist, remember? We had Ed, who was put into a homosexual relationship exactly to tear attention to his character. He also mentioned he had feelings for Juliana, with the subtext "to be continued" (otherwise, what for?). We had Trudy Walker, Juliana's alt-sister, who was one of the key characters and had a very important place in the show. We had the "Catholic" commune, wich must have been brought up to figure as an independent entity alongside the BCR and the American resistance. One of the dumbest is the part with the girl who survives the Portal and travels to the other world during the early testings by the Nazis. Being an important event on its own, I would still not make such a fuss about it, but she was given extra time, with Hawthorne talking about her, saying something like: "But she, she is no ordinary girl. No ordinary people can walk through that portal. You will hear about her, John." And the face of the character being zoomed in for nothing else, but so that we could remember it and recognize her later. It was clear that she had an important upcoming role. I'm sure there were many others, that I forgot of, please write them in the comments. We also had the whole Jahr Null thing. But, of course, our main complaint is the death of the two key characters: Joe Blake and Frank Frink. In any other circumstances, it would mean that we lost those two and we would be fairly demotivated to watch the rest of the show. BUT before they are killed, we are introduced the Portal and the story of Thomas aka the plots magical ability to revive its characters. That's why we were not really upset with it. It was clear, that, since there is the alternate universe(s), such important characters MUST reprise. It was clearly the message of the third season. The fact that the two, Joe and Frank, are not just important, but key characters is proven by that the chemistry between Joe and Juliana, Juliana and Frank, Frank and Joe, was the reason all the fateful decisions and, consequently, plot twists, took place. It was the basis of the whole story, the reason to the events, that constituted the series! And the main essence of the show was that, despite propaganda, regimes and brain-washing, love, of all kinds, can do miracles. Okay, I understand why the killed Tagomi -- to create a dissonance for Kiddo and make him question his values. And, alas, none of these characters were even mentioned in season 4. "What kind of writers create the solid of the plot, premisses for promising storylines and then destroy them by themselves?!" you ask. I think I have the answer. The directors MEANT to conclude the series properly. Season 4 was meant to unfold, not to wrap up. There are two possible reasons this didn't happen. Number one: replacement of the directors and/or writers. The new team may have had another view on the way the series should end and what paths should characters take. Number Two: unexpected financing cut/ series shutdown and the associated with them necessity to fold the show up within 10 episodes. This is the most likely one. I think that, roughly, that's what they've been told:"Okay, we have bad news for you. Unlike what we all thought, the show can't be renewed for ... reasons, so you have to quickly wrap it up. But let's not make the ending too firm, because, yes, we don't have money right now, but, who knows, we were a successful show, with a loyal audience and a good plot, we may be given the chance to proceed in the future. We need to leave unanswered questions to keep the intrigue in case we will be renewed. So, long story short, give it an ending but with the opportunity for a spin-off". It's a common practice in the movie industry, to end each season so, that it could be that last and not the last at the same time, so I'm not completely insane)) Even more, with that theory, everything becomes reasonable. With only one season to spare, they had to choose the minor (relatively, of course) storyline (the John and Thomas's) to conclude and to leave the major one (Juliana and Joe's (and Frank's)) unfolded, because they a) didn't have enough screen time for it to conclude it (that's for sure, even without my theory) and b) needed to leave some doors open. Bonus: this may sound insane, but I like to think of it as a validation for my theory)) Now, in the season 4, Juliana has visions, and in one of them, she sees a hexograme, which meaning she discovers to be "not yet complete". Throughout the season, the hexograme doesn't appear until the last episode, in which, too, it doesn't seem to tally with the circumstances. What else can it be other than a hint to the deliberate loose ends, left by the creators themselves. Also, in the vision, Juliana sees blur silhouettes appearing on the horizon. What else can it refer to, other than the people coming out of the Portal in the end of the series? These scenes are so out-of-context, I have to believe they were left specifically for the vigilant viewers. So yeah, that's my theory and it for sure will keep me going. Share it and let's see what other fans will think about it (and who knows, maybe even what the creators will have to say about it).
LOL this was quite a rant. And yes I do agree they kinda just threw away the ending of season 4 cuz they just ran out of screen time. I always thought they should have split the last season into two.
My heart is absolutely shattered. I hope Juliana finds an unbroken Joe in another world. It can’t end like this. What an amazing video.
Yes, I was hoping the same, that he somehow traveled while he was in prison. But I think that that scene where she watches the film in which he kills her is too damn underrated. Why? I cant help but believe that their story is not quite over.

I really like their chemistry and dynamic. Their story was tragic but undeniably it was true love... Even lost through realities. The song is just perfect for them. Love the scenes from the series 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
The kiss in the 3th episode of season 3 is one of the most sensual that I've ever seen in a tv series. I was like awwww.❤
( ☌ω☌) ♥ AGREED!!
Agreeeeee
Gorgeous video, captured so well their story! Hope season 4 will have more to come for these two
*3 episodes.* We got 3 episodes of joeliana. How is that enough?
LittleFlowerluv 3 to many

This series went to hell
Hahahaha this show fell tf off. Juliana made moronic character decisions and Joe Blake was a Nazi.
