Everyone’s talking about how Boruto did flying Rajin, yet no one’s mentioned that he seemed to do Chidori Stream. My man might be the first since Kakashi to actually use both Chidori and Rasengan, and that’s just dope
What's crazy is if Boruto decided to use Shadow Clones it's even more of a wrap. Whether he can do as many as Naruto or not isn't really the point, just having them around able to do Flying Raijin as well could allow him to mop up lesser combatants like Kakishi and Nagato. Minimizing his chances of getting flanked Also it's possible Boruto *may* be genjutsu immune if there's any credence to the theory that Otsutuki are immune to genjutsu like they seem to be to shinjutsu. Because he's 100% Otsutuski he may not in fact get checkmated by Tsykuyomi.

I think you missed a big point: Boruto is an Otsutsuki. Infinite Tsukuyomi shouldn't work on Otsutsuki because how or why would they cast it if they got caught in it. Also, being Otsutsuki essentially grants immunity to genjutsu. How do we know this? No one has ever tried or successfully cast genjutsu on an Otsutsuki. They can resist shinjutsu that warps the minds of all reality. Why would you believe Itachi's tsukuyomi would work on Boruto?
Glad people have finally come around on the Otsutsuki Genjutsu immunity after Omnipotence Immunity was shown, Sasuke would of dealt with Momoshiki and Ishiki alot better if they weren't immune , unless viewers think Sasuke is too dumb to think to use Genjutsu.
No Infinite Tsukuyomi is a specific ability of Kaguyas rinne sharingan which madara had access two The other otsutsukis harvest their planet by just using the ten tails wood style to trap everyone and absorb their chakra Essentially infinite tsukyomi just makes harvesting easier but its not necessary So infinite tsukyomi is only a trait that kaguya and madara have
Boruto wasn't gathering chakra he was trying to Sense his chakra marker. Took longer because it was in another dimension. Minato was a Sensory type ninja to begin with.
All of Borutos feats in TBV have been without Karma or the Jougan, to even consider that any previously introduced character from the end of Shipudden and back could step to Boruto right now is absurd. It may be speculative, but I think Boruto probably has more shit up his sleeve that just what we've seen. If his new rasengan is loosly influenced by his Hyuga hertiage (using rotation as a key word here) and he's using techniques like the chidori stream, his vanishing rasengan has probably become fucking obnoxious.

The only other time we see something similar to the eyes Boruto had in the in-media res beginning is when Boruto gets posessed by Momoshiki which Sarada explicitly refers to as a Byakugan in chapter 44. The Jougan is literally an anime only thing. It hasn't even been MENTIONED in the manga. By contrast, the sharingan debuted in the 12th chapter of Naruto, was explicitly named, and recieved a basic explanation as to how its powers worked and that was a weekly series. The only way you can argue the Jougan being canon is if you're a "muh anime canon" coper which by that logic it's about as canon as Hinatas protective 8 triagrams 64 palms.

Kakashi as well. In the manga, he is shown looking at the jutsu symbols on Minato's Kunai with his Sharingan when Minato broke down the Flying Raijin to him, meaning he copied it.

I might sound silly but I really like how th Boruto timeskip is a huge contrast between Naruto's timeskip. Im part 1 Naruto wasn't respected and had to work to achieve said acknowledgment from the village that despise which he achieves by Shippuden. Boruto had everything Naruto wished he has as a kid, respect from the village, parents their to raise him and etc Boruto felt Naruto didn't spend more time with them which solidify more when Naruto showed up to his daughters birthday with a shadow clone, Boruto wanted acknowledgement from his father. Im TBV Boruto lost everything, friends, family, identity, he's starting out just like how Naruto did all those years ago,alone with the whole world against him.

The sad truth is for Naruto fans is that Boruto would body adult Sasuke and Naruto prior to getting nerfed, Jigen defeated both of them in a 1v2 then Code without limiters is even stronger than Jigen. Code is literally a none threat to Boruto who states he could very easily kill him and merely toys with Code, despite how Code is treated as a clown throughout the whole series nobody else in the original cast from Naruto could do any better. The only possible exception is if Naruto used Bariyon mode that is a last ditch effort that might not give Naruto the win in the end. This wasn't a debate

I don’t know where people get this idea that it’s somehow “insulting” for Boruto characters to surpass people like Naruto, Sasuke, Madara. It’s not insulting. It’s a sequel series. That’s just how sequel series work.
Its a problem in a lot of battle shounen fanbases, they refuse to accept their favourite characters being surpassed by newer ones and would rather do mental gymnastics to keep their favourites ontop even if it makes no sense. The amount of times I've heard "but experience doe" to justify a character beating another despite being several times weaker is enough to last me a lifetime.
It is considered insulting because a lot of people really dislike the Boruto characters and story. So seeing claims like "all your favourite characters suck now, being surpassed by a boring 14 yo who has nothing else going for him" is just salt in the open wound.

I think even if boruto gets caught in itachis tsukoyomi he would be able to escape since he is a hyuga he has good chakara control and has a good understanding of his chakara path ways he can easily disrupt his path way releasing him from the genjutsu and i believe him being a otsutsuki help alot as well

Well base Kamui by itself wouldn't do much in Boruto if the character themselves aren't nearly as fast or as strong enough to hang with the top tiers... But it'd still be S tier in terms of survivability. DMS SO6P enhanced Kamui along with Kakashi's unique enhanced arsenal would be pretty damn OP, however.
The problem with power scalling in Boruto is that we are mostly being told that the characters are OP now, much more than anything introduced before. Someone who supposed to be omnipotent from Shippuden like Madara or even Kaguya are being treated like a joke. But actually the only Boruto character that smash Shippuden AP scalling is Jigen when he wipes the floor with Naruto and Sasuke in their strongest forms. On the other hand someone like Code, who is supposedly much stronger than Jigen and even Isshiki gets his bum kicked over and over by everyone.
I remeber back when people somehow though that boruto loses to kid naruto and had to do stuff like taking momo away and acting like naruto had perfect control of Kurama and saying that kurama would just fully come out and beat boruto for naruto and that was just insane
I have a theory.. in a nutshell, Kuramas chakra was changed during baryon mode, this new 'Kurama' inside of Himawari has a brand new form of chakra that's far more potent than normal chakra, Baryon Chakra or a fusion energy
One question I always have about these "solo the verse" arguments: will the person's stamina hold up? Boruto may be stronger than all these characters combined, but with the way jutsu and chakra works, there's no telling if he would have the chakra reserves to perform enough jutsu or the destructive capabilities to just destroy hundreds of thousands of shinobi.
His karma is quite literally the perfect solution for it as karma absorbs chakra and gives it to the user so boruto just keeps absorbing and getting even more chakra
I dont think Boruto "Stomps" like some people say. If a Juubi Clone almost killed Boruto in the latest chapter, means that someone like Kaguya, will definitly destroy Boruto even Borushiki, due Kaguya being above the 10 Tails (Juubi) + have the Dimension Hax as well the Bone Hax. Then we have characters like Six Paths Naruto and Sasuke who were on par (Close) to Kaguya and manage to survive and seal her, these version of Naruto and Sasuke are still above what Boruto is now as well. Kakashi with the DMS us 50/50. But yea, Boruto right now, isn't "Stomping" Shippuden, but he is in the Endgame with the Top Tiers until Kaguya and Six Paths Naruto and Sasuke enter the chat.

In Shippuden it's been stated that Kaguya is way stronger than the 10 Tails. Boruto isn't on that level yet. Hell, it took Six Paths Naruto and Sasuke to match Kaguya and even outsmart + surprise her to seal her off. Sorry, but as much that Boruto is getting overhype, he stops at War Arc Top Tiers, behind Kaguya, Naruto and Sasuke & "Probably" DMS Kakashi.

For me the difference with borutos time skip and Naruto’s time skip is that it feels like boruto trained with a sense of urgency and didn’t waste time goofing around. I understand that later they try to imply that Naruto left with jiraiya to keep the Akatsuki off his trail but Naruto didn’t run into the akatsuki till after the time skip and that was only because he went on a misson to rescue garra that put him in conflict with the akatsuki. To me Naruto’s time skip comes off as him and jiraiya just bumming around for 2 and a half years living care free doing some trying and talking about life while boruto spent 3 years on the run as a world wide fugitive who had to train and get stronger or die. For me what would’ve made the Naruto time skip better is if the Akatsuki didn’t wait during the time skip to start collecting tailed beast. In fact by the time the Naruto time skip happens it would’ve been better if the akatsuki had already caught the tailed beast 1-6 leaving Fu the 7 tails, bee the 8 tails and Naruto the 9 tails as the last 3 to capture, have jiraiya and Naruto visit the same during the time skip and fail to save garra from deidera and sasori then when you get to shippuden you have a rematch already set to go because Naruto would want revenge
Naruto spent that time learning to be a better ninja and mastering the 9 tails. He also isn't a genius. Matter fact don't compare Boruto to Naruto. Compare him to Sasuke. Look at the difference in how a genius in a time skip gains power and it makes more sense. Tsunade thought Sasuke was on drugs because of how strong he got. Boruto basically is the same thing now. Implying a strength progression that looks normal should look like Sakura and Naruto. Boruto is a genius who can pick up things quickly. That's why he looks so broken now. He had a much higher base than Sasuke when he left and a much stronger teachers than Orochimaru in Kashin Koji and Sasuke. That affects how powerful you can become.
@jcw034 Naruto can and has ALWAYS picked up new things quickly. He couldn't learn the clone jutsu because of circumstance(big chakra, no control), but he easily learned the multi shadow clone jutsu. From that point on, he grew FASTER than Sasuke and learned new things at about the same speed(tree walking, the time it took Naruto/Sasuke to learn Rasengan/ Chidori is somewhat similar). The amount Naruto learned during his timeskip was so ABYSMAL that I think that Jiraiya probably spent most of his time chasing women(like he did for Naruto's rasengan training), and spent too much time trying to control the 9 Tails(something they FAILED to do). I gotta blame Jiraiya for the timeskip.
@thewiseyounglad2699 chakra bring massive isn't a reason for not learning the clone jutsu. He simply sucked at it. He did manage to figure it out. Naruto isn't bright when it comes to technique. The rasengan he had to use clones to make it work. He wasn't able to solo make one until almost 3 years after the fact. A lot of Naruto growth isn't him bring skilled its him spamming Shadow Clones. Remember he gains experience from each clone. So how many battles is he fighting compared to everyone else because of it? His growth came from battle experiences. He was only disciplined when it came to stuff he wanted to do. Chakra nature training isn't something he could have done when Sasuke did it. Sasuke was far more polished and seasoned as a ninja. Naruto had go learn the basics because he was still just spamming SCJ every chance he got. Which is why when he did bell test Kakashi remarked at his jutsu timing and him not just running in. Naruto didn't grow faster than Sasuke because of clones. He grew faster because Sasuke was in the hospital. He had to get treatment agree the forest of death, had to get sealed his CM and learned the chidori. Naruto learned summoning. Sasuke attacked Itachi and was hospitalized. Naruto learns rasengan, fights Tsunade, fights Kabuto. They fight on the top of the hospital fresh after recovery and basically are equals Sasuke grew at an alarming rate under Orochimaru because he was a better ninja and the sharingan allowed him to pick up things that others couldn't. His understanding of concepts made him a better stronger shinobi (tsunade thought he was on drugs because his growth was way too high for someone that just trained). Naruto learned to control 9 tails up to level 3, learned massive rasengan and how to be a better ninja. The big difference is Sasuke got to create from scratch after learning the chidori and bring under Orochimaru and his shit is more practical. Naruto had to do the clone training to get 20 years of skill in 1 week for the Rasenshuriken. Naruto then had to train with the toads for sage mode and then Bee for the kcm1 form. If you wanna look at buffs side by side Rasenshuriken Kcm1 Sage mode are infinitely better than Everything Sasuke had other than Kirin. Sasuke got MS and EMS but no other abilities beyond that. Let me make this simple. Let's take any base fodder ninja in the show. Let's make it Mighr Dai without 8 gates. Which skillset makes you more threatening? Sage Mode Kcm and Rasenshuriken or Chidori Senbon chidori stream and chidori sword? The answer is Naruto skillset. What if we took the same shinobi and used their state of ship skillsets? Sasuke skillset is better. Its really that simple. But again Sasuke was way more naturally talented and further along by the final valley. 85% of the shinobi world would still lose to Naruto or Sasuke start of shippuden. And I would argue of Naruto hadn't had chakra cloak suppressed by Sasuke when they first met he would have gave Sasuke problems

Six don’t you think that if boruto is hit by a genjutsu that it is possible for either A) momoshiki to help break boruto out if he deems it necessary or B) momoshiki takes over as boruto is in the genjutsu and now that he knows about it he will keep his eyes closed and have the byakugan active while being unable to be hit with a genjutsu and prob going to be on borutos level or maybe higher

In every Naruto fight he never really “jumps” his opponent. It’s more like one after the other to wear down whoever he’s fighting. You have to remember Naruto sees his clones as himself so he’s not going to just send them there to “die”

Boruto cannot solo the verse. At first i was thinking that he can. But you reminded me that kaguya absorbs chakra from contact. But if and i mean if. If it lend of kaguya. That vertigo will keep her busy, Boruto will send her to a different dimension so she can suffer there for eternity. So yeah Boruto's chances of soloing the Naruto verse are 90 to 95%.
I could see uzuhiko being natural sage mode chakra in the same way that kirin is technically a chakra less environmental jutsu (is literally lightning). Uzuhiko could be like a focused coriolis effect and not entirely absorbable chakra. We also don’t know if he is a sage at this point

It took 3 joinin (granted fodder) to use it with incredible teamwork and focus. The third hokage said FTG was “beyond him”. The inventor of said jutsu isn’t even the best user. If you want to scale an attack to see if it would hurt boruto, then think if that attack would damage Kaguya or Ishiki, if not then it would not matter in a fight against boruto. Unless it's a hax attack ofc.

One thing I thought of, couldn't Naruto and Minato both enact Baryon Mode? Also Might Guy could open the 8th gate. So of course we know time is the mitigating factor in all those modes, but we at least know Baryon mode can dog walk an Otsusuki, and I venture a guess to say 8th Gates could touch him up too. So, you start 8th gate Might guy, then when that runs out you immediately follow up with Minato Baryon Mode, and finally when that runs out Naruto Baryon mode. That should probably be enough to take Boruto out, or at least weaken him enough to where you can then Jump him with all the heavy hitters, Kaguya, Kakashi, Obito, Sasuke, Itachi, Madara, Hashirama, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Sakura. I think Shippuden has a punchers chance.
Are u even sure that this boruto is even strong ? Everytime a " strong boruto character" shows up all they can do is kick and crack a wall. A much weaker version of Boruto beat Ao, one of the kage’s right hand man, in a 1v1. Adult Konohamaru, the same one who beat a pain as a kid, couldn’t beat him and he has decades of training ahead of him. That same pain he beat as a kid was stronger than the rest of Konoha 12 which included Shikamaru who was able to beat Hidan.
Another thing to consider is that kaguya may just start absorbing chakra from her "allies" just to fight boruto. Many of villains are honestly just inadvertently helping boruto win.

Assuming Boruto could tank the C4 is a bit dubious. The only reason Sasuke even knew he could evade what was coming was because of his eyes. You could say Boruto dodges it because of his own ocular powers and flying raijin. (if it even came to that, Boruto most likely would one shot Diedara)

He can't defeat Kaguya without the Sun & Moon seals, else she continues to regenerates & live forever. Realistically, Kaguya's the only one who can solo the verse.
There comes a point in power though where the gap is so astronomically huge that it wouldn’t matter. She still has energy, she might not die but there’s no shot she does anything to Boruto that would actually kill him.

Boruto is so far and above Kaguya in power, it’s debatable if she could even be capable of damaging him if they fought in a 1v1. Kaguya is below the Isshiki that BM Naruto fought by a margin and even if Boruto is somewhat relative to his father’s strongest form in base, he’s going to stomp Kaguya worse than Naruto beating up Isshiki.

It's not possible to compare characters from Boruto and Naruto by what they did to characters from Naruto in Boruto. And the reason is they got downgraded both powerwise, mindwise and skillwise. You can however compare by actual feats and in this case Boruto, Code, Jigen, etc. are weaker than a lot of characters in Naruto that aren't Ootsutski/Jinchuriki related. Boruto characters operate at wall level at best. Outside of Boruto OVA there no feats that suggest otherwise. 16 y.o. Naruto from Naruto murders adult Naruto from Boruto.

I just don’t think in canon this would work. Boroto should be stronger by far than anyone in Shippuden, even Kaguya. But I don’t think boruto is walking up to Hashirama, punching him in the stomach, and one shotting him. When you have so many god tier characters (Hashirama, Madara, Naruto, Sasuke, Obito, Might Guy, and Kaguya) and you have a cast of insane support abilities (Nagato, Minato, Itachi, Kakashi, Tobirama, Shisui, Kabuto, Sakura) Boruto could be overwhelmed or at least run out of stamina.
Half those people get one shot in under a second the rest can barely react to borutos movements. 3rd if even code got hit why would u think hashirma would be able to dodge it. Boruto could probably just run up to guy and one tap him and guy wouldn’t be able to do anything due to the speed difference. Plus karma absorbs jutsu and gives the chakra back to the user so stamina isn’t a issue either
Well Naruto was purposely not given a higher boost than sasuke that’s why it’s was pretty much sasuke show for 300 chapter until he learn sage mode. Boruto on the other hand trained like like the fate of the planet is at stake reason his power leap was so massive so it’s on the writers pretty much.

Infinite Tsukuyomi shouldn't work on Otsutsuki because how or why would they cast it if they got caught in it.

It may be speculative, but I think Boruto probably has more shit up his sleeve that just what we've seen. If his new rasengan is loosly influenced by his Hyuga hertiage (using rotation as a key word here) and he's using techniques like the chidori stream, his vanishing rasengan has probably become fucking obnoxious.

The only other time we see something similar to the eyes Boruto had in the in-media res beginning is when Boruto gets posessed by Momoshiki which Sarada explicitly refers to as a Byakugan in chapter 44. The Jougan is literally an anime only thing. It hasn't even been MENTIONED in the manga. By contrast, the sharingan debuted in the 12th chapter of Naruto, was explicitly named, and recieved a basic explanation as to how its powers worked and that was a weekly series. The only way you can argue the Jougan being canon is if you're a "muh anime canon" coper which by that logic it's about as canon as Hinatas protective 8 triagrams 64 palms.

Kakashi as well. In the manga, he is shown looking at the jutsu symbols on Minato's Kunai with his Sharingan when Minato broke down the Flying Raijin to him, meaning he copied it.

Code is literally a none threat to Boruto who states he could very easily kill him and merely toys with Code, despite how Code is treated as a clown throughout the whole series nobody else in the original cast from Naruto could do any better.
The only possible exception is if Naruto used Bariyon mode that is a last ditch effort that might not give Naruto the win in the end.

I don’t know where people get this idea that it’s somehow “insulting” for Boruto characters to surpass people like Naruto, Sasuke, Madara. It’s not insulting. It’s a sequel series. That’s just how sequel series work.
Its a problem in a lot of battle shounen fanbases, they refuse to accept their favourite characters being surpassed by newer ones and would rather do mental gymnastics to keep their favourites ontop even if it makes no sense. The amount of times I've heard "but experience doe" to justify a character beating another despite being several times weaker is enough to last me a lifetime.
It is considered insulting because a lot of people really dislike the Boruto characters and story. So seeing claims like "all your favourite characters suck now, being surpassed by a boring 14 yo who has nothing else going for him" is just salt in the open wound.
Its not that they surpassed them its that they did it with seemly a lot less effort which lessens the mile stone

Well base Kamui by itself wouldn't do much in Boruto if the character themselves aren't nearly as fast or as strong enough to hang with the top tiers... One question I always have about these "solo the verse" arguments: will the person's stamina hold up?
Boruto may be stronger than all these characters combined, but with the way jutsu and chakra works, there's no telling if he would have the chakra reserves to perform enough jutsu or the destructive capabilities to just destroy hundreds of thousands of shinobi.
His karma is quite literally the perfect solution for it as karma absorbs chakra and gives it to the user so boruto just keeps absorbing and getting even more chakra

The clones in the latest chapter of Boruto, were created out of the 10 Tails via transforming targets into mini God Trees which absorbs their chakra and transfer it to the 10 Tails which create these clones of the people transformed into mini God Trees.
In Shippuden it's been stated that Kaguya is way stronger than the 10 Tails.
Boruto isn't on that level yet.
Hell, it took Six Paths Naruto and Sasuke to match Kaguya and even outsmart + surprise her to seal her off.

For me the difference with borutos time skip and Naruto’s time skip is that it feels like boruto trained with a sense of urgency and didn’t waste time goofing around. I understand that later they try to imply that Naruto left with jiraiya to keep the Akatsuki off his trail but Naruto didn’t run into the akatsuki till after the time skip and that was only because he went on a misson to rescue garra that put him in conflict with the akatsuki.
To me Naruto’s time skip comes off as him and jiraiya just bumming around for 2 and a half years living care free doing some trying and talking about life while boruto spent 3 years on the run as a world wide fugitive who had to train and get stronger or die. For me what would’ve made the Naruto time skip better is if the Akatsuki didn’t wait during the time skip to start collecting tailed beast. In fact by the time the Naruto time skip happens it would’ve been better if the akatsuki had already caught the tailed beast 1-6 leaving Fu the 7 tails, bee the 8 tails and Naruto the 9 tails as the last 3 to capture, have jiraiya and Naruto visit the same during the time skip and fail to save garra from deidera and sasori then when you get to shippuden you have a rematch already set to go because Naruto would want revenge
Naruto spent that time learning to be a better ninja and mastering the 9 tails. He also isn't a genius. Matter fact don't compare Boruto to Naruto. Compare him to Sasuke. Look at the difference in how a genius in a time skip gains power and it makes more sense. Tsunade thought Sasuke was on drugs because of how strong he got. Boruto basically is the same thing now. Implying a strength progression that looks normal should look like Sakura and Naruto. Boruto is a genius who can pick up things quickly. That's why he looks so broken now. He had a much higher base than Sasuke when he left and a much stronger teachers than Orochimaru in Kashin Koji and Sasuke. That affects how powerful you can become.
@jcw034 Naruto can and has ALWAYS picked up new things quickly. He couldn't learn the clone jutsu because of circumstance(big chakra, no control), but he easily learned the multi shadow clone jutsu.
From that point on, he grew FASTER than Sasuke and learned new things at about the same speed(tree walking, the time it took Naruto/Sasuke to learn Rasengan/ Chidori is somewhat similar).
The amount Naruto learned during his timeskip was so ABYSMAL that I think that Jiraiya probably spent most of his time chasing women(like he did for Naruto's rasengan training), and spent too much time trying to control the 9 Tails(something they FAILED to do).
I gotta blame Jiraiya for the timeskip.
Then it would give time to flesh out the 7 tails too, adding to the shippuden chuunin exams arc which could’ve been canon in some way or another

Naruto isn't bright when it comes to technique. The rasengan he had to use clones to make it work. He wasn't able to solo make one until almost 3 years after the fact. A lot of Naruto growth isn't him bring skilled its him spamming Shadow Clones. Remember he gains experience from each clone. So how many battles is he fighting compared to everyone else because of it? His growth came from battle experiences. He was only disciplined when it came to stuff he wanted to do. Chakra nature training isn't something he could have done when Sasuke did it. Sasuke was far more polished and seasoned as a ninja. Naruto had go learn the basics because he was still just spamming SCJ every chance he got. Which is why when he did bell test Kakashi remarked at his jutsu timing and him not just running in.
Naruto didn't grow faster than Sasuke because of clones. He grew faster because Sasuke was in the hospital. He had to get treatment agree the forest of death, had to get sealed his CM and learned the chidori. Naruto learned summoning.
Sasuke attacked Itachi and was hospitalized. Naruto learns rasengan, fights Tsunade, fights Kabuto. They fight on the top of the hospital fresh after recovery and basically are equals
Sasuke grew at an alarming rate under Orochimaru because he was a better ninja and the sharingan allowed him to pick up things that others couldn't. His understanding of concepts made him a better stronger shinobi (tsunade thought he was on drugs because his growth was way too high for someone that just trained). Naruto learned to control 9 tails up to level 3, learned massive rasengan and how to be a better ninja.
The big difference is Sasuke got to create from scratch after learning the chidori and bring under Orochimaru and his shit is more practical. Naruto had to do the clone training to get 20 years of skill in 1 week for the Rasenshuriken. Naruto then had to train with the toads for sage mode and then Bee for the kcm1 form. Let me make this simple. Let's take any base fodder ninja in the show. Let's make it Mighr Dai without 8 gates. Which skillset makes you more threatening? Sage Mode Kcm and Rasenshuriken or Chidori Senbon chidori stream and chidori sword? The answer is Naruto skillset.
What if we took the same shinobi and used their state of ship skillsets? Sasuke skillset is better. Its really that simple. But again Sasuke was way more naturally talented and further along by the final valley. 85% of the shinobi world would still lose to Naruto or Sasuke start of shippuden. And I would argue of Naruto hadn't had chakra cloak suppressed by Sasuke when they first met he would have gave Sasuke problems

It was more of a wear him down one clone at a time and hopefully find an opening to attack. They did but Jigen was so much more powerful that it didn’t matter. In every Naruto fight he never really “jumps” his opponent. It’s more like one after the other to wear down whoever he’s fighting. You have to remember Naruto sees his clones as himself so he’s not going to just send them there to “die”

I could see uzuhiko being natural sage mode chakra in the same way that kirin is technically a chakra less environmental jutsu (is literally lightning). Uzuhiko could be like a focused coriolis effect and not entirely absorbable chakra. We also don’t know if he is a sage at this point

I believe its technically a forbidden Jutsu, Kashin Koji probably infiltrated the village at some point and stole the scroll for it to give to Boruto.
It took 3 joinin (granted fodder) to use it with incredible teamwork and focus. The third hokage said FTG was “beyond him”. The inventor of said jutsu isn’t even the best user. I’m sure some could use it, but the list has got to be crazy short, and the proficiency has got to be awful across the board

One thing I thought of, couldn't Naruto and Minato both enact Baryon Mode? Also Might Guy could open the 8th gate. So of course we know time is the mitigating factor in all those modes, but we at least know Baryon mode can dog walk an Otsusuki, and I venture a guess to say 8th Gates could touch him up too. So, you start 8th gate Might guy, then when that runs out you immediately follow up with Minato Baryon Mode, and finally when that runs out Naruto Baryon mode. That should probably be enough to take Boruto out, or at least weaken him enough to where you can then Jump him with all the heavy hitters, Kaguya, Kakashi, Obito, Sasuke, Itachi, Madara, Hashirama, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Sakura. I think Shippuden has a punchers chance.

Also naruto and sasuke vs jigen. They said "we need to go all out"so they transformed into the avatar mode against jigen (now mind u they didnt fuse but ok) and the strongest armour in the verse was broken in one kick from jigen but some how sasuke and naruto's litteral bodies tanked more hits than their "all out forms".
In summary this show is a joke none of it make sense and it clearly cant make a good plot that makes sense. The character dont do what they should be doing sasuke just forgot how to use his rinngan and always out of chakra. Naruto doesnt call for help from the other tailed beasts. Also they are amped by their host and retain their abilities as we see Sasuke use the chidori and the moegi clone use earth release.

A much weaker version of Boruto beat Ao, one of the kage’s right hand man, in a 1v1. Adult Konohamaru, the same one who beat a pain as a kid, couldn’t beat him and he has decades of training ahead of him. That same pain he beat as a kid was stronger than the rest of Konoha 12 which included Shikamaru who was able to beat Hidan.
Another thing to consider is that kaguya may just start absorbing chakra from her "allies" just to fight boruto.
Many of villains are honestly just inadvertently helping boruto win.
And boruto looks onn.....as kaguya powers up menacingly as he doesnt even bother to activate karma or any dojutsu

Assuming Boruto could tank the C4 is a bit dubious. The only reason Sasuke even knew he could evade what was coming was because of his eyes. You could say Boruto dodges it because of his own ocular powers and flying raijin. (if it even came to that, Boruto most likely would one shot Diedara)

bout the whole tsukuyomi thing. aren't otsutsuki immune to genjutsu ? eida's charm and even her worldwide omnipotence doesn't effect otsutsuki by default. sasuke for some reason also never used genjutsu like at all in boruto, even tho his is strong enough to stop all 9 tailed beasts with one look.
He can't defeat Kaguya without the Sun & Moon seals, else she continues to regenerates & live forever. Realistically, Kaguya's the only one who can solo the verse.

There comes a point in power though where the gap is so astronomically huge that it wouldn’t matter. She still has energy, she might not die but there’s no shot she does anything to Boruto that would actually kill him.

He's extremely powerful, but one of them has finite chakra & stamina and can die to natural causes, while the other is truly immortal with never ending stamina and chakra. Even if neither of them could kill each other, Kaguya would far outlast him in a battle of longevity.

Prior to his training, he was nearly even with her but since he didn’t have infinite energy, he couldn’t win and exhausted himself. However after he trained, she was in awe of his new power and he was clearly levels above her.
The same can be applied to this situation. Boruto is so far and above Kaguya in power, it’s debatable if she could even be capable of damaging him if they fought in a 1v1. Kaguya is below the Isshiki that BM Naruto fought by a margin and even if Boruto is somewhat relative to his father’s strongest form in base, he’s going to stomp Kaguya worse than Naruto beating up Isshiki.

That’s probably exactly what would happen. Momoshiki would probably try to fuck with Boruto and make him get hit with the genjutsu. Like how he took over and absorbed shikamarus shadow possession to help kawaki destroy boruto’s life.
It's not possible to compare characters from Boruto and Naruto by what they did to characters from Naruto in Boruto. And the reason is they got downgraded both powerwise, mindwise and skillwise. You can however compare by actual feats and in this case Boruto, Code, Jigen, etc. are weaker than a lot of characters in Naruto that aren't Ootsutski/Jinchuriki related.
Boruto characters operate at wall level at best. Outside of Boruto OVA there no feats that suggest otherwise. 16 y.o. Naruto from Naruto murders adult Naruto from Boruto.

I just don’t think in canon this would work. Boroto should be stronger by far than anyone in Shippuden, even Kaguya. But I don’t think boruto is walking up to Hashirama, punching him in the stomach, and one shotting him.
When you have so many god tier characters (Hashirama, Madara, Naruto, Sasuke, Obito, Might Guy, and Kaguya) and you have a cast of insane support abilities (Nagato, Minato, Itachi, Kakashi, Tobirama, Shisui, Kabuto, Sakura) Boruto could be overwhelmed or at least run out of stamina.
Half those people get one shot in under a second the rest can barely react to borutos movements. 3rd if even code got hit why would u think hashirma would be able to dodge it. Boruto could probably just run up to guy and one tap him and guy wouldn’t be able to do anything due to the speed difference. Plus karma absorbs jutsu and gives the chakra back to the user so stamina isn’t a issue either

Well Naruto was purposely not given a higher boost than sasuke that’s why it’s was pretty much sasuke show for 300 chapter until he learn sage mode. Boruto on the other hand trained like like the fate of the planet is at stake reason his power leap was so massive so it’s on the writers pretty much.
I dont even think Naruto vs his own universe is fair because there were people in his own village either more hardworking or talented than him like Rock Lee, Neiji, Sai, Shino, etc
