Hi Kayla. My name is J.J and I've been painting and drawing for about 3 years now and I'm mustering up the courage to open a small booth at my local Sunday flea market and I appreciate the ideals and encouragement that you are offering for newbies like myself. Thank you for gifting your experience so others can succeed. Later 🐊 P.S. Your artwork rocks.

Im the salesman’s wife, I tell you this is definitely a blueprint for setting up a retail. Simplicity and Display. My husband always talk about options and perception. Sometimes people need help to understand what they want in their functional reality., its easier with fewer options. And people would pay according what they perceive what they are buying. Have you hear of the payless social experiment is quite amusing.

Excellent info as usual! I watched your video about prints from your source, and before I got into that, on a whim one day, I gave the kiosk at CVS a try… nope. It was nasty, color corrected all the way back to just the primaries, yuck. Plus a bit pricey, but I did just get one as a trial. So next up, I’ll go to your source and try again. I’m a long-time crafter selling at events, and the last couple years have sold some original watercolors which has been pretty damn exciting! I also have tried my paintings on merch like a clipboard, a notebook, and a tote, with Zazzle. Not necessarily cost effective, but note cards and single panel cards can work when Zazzle does a sale.
So here’s the art-trepreneurs, long May we sell!

I am super excited to find your video! I just started painting again. I have been in a black hole for a long time and I’m trying to start painting again. So I’m not in the same category as you more in the kindergarten stage. But I’m just going to learn as much as you can and just do it! I’m going to watch all your videos so I can learn. Thank you and keep sharing!

Hi, great tip. I think I'll sell less at my market's as well. I was selling 7-9 different items. I really enjoy your videos; they are very informative 😊✌🏽

Great ideas, I agree with them all! I’ve actually thought of doing on-site artwork like charcoal drawings or I also do wire wrapping stone pendants. I just did a market today and it was pretty slow but sometimes people like to see an activity or something so I kind of thought maybe that would be something I try next time :-)

    Hi Kayla,
This method of sales is the KISS system.
Yep, Keep It Sample Stupid. Sell 1 or 2 things, and don't give to many choices.
Keep it cash friendly. Everyone has $20.00 to $50.00 bucks on them.
I can't imagine your prints not flying off the shelves, anywhere.
Stay well, my new favorite Artist.

I think if I ever do a fair/market again (highly unlikely tho) def just going to have prints and originals. depending on oni the venue, t-shirts/hoodies etc would work if I could afford them lol

I wouldn’t raise prices if your demographic audience is college students. Especially since you’re making a profit already
