The 7up cars don't have 300 HP and NO it being an LX has nothing to do with it being a convertible or having a "trunk". They made GT convertibles too and LX hatchbacks for that matter as well - 5.0's or otherwise.
I bought one used in 1992 (5-sp) with 11k miles for $11k. ...The ex still has it today with about 65k original miles. I miss that car. I cruised the entire Oregon and most of the California coasts in the car.
@@axemanners6643 I've had several mustangs a 88 gt 5.0 a 87 lx with a351 1990 emerald green white leather interior cruise control 5 speed 7up I reached the engine down to the vin and mine had almost 300 bone stock bought from a old white lady that bought it new
@@deandreaddison7341 I've had at least twelve '88-93 Mustangs with the fastest being a '93 Notch, black/black, 306ci, stage 3 heads/cam, LT's, etc. making 310RWHP which was a lot back in 1999. An '89 GT, heads/cam, 2spd powerglide, etc. They never made close to 300HP stock. What does that even mean that you, "reached the engine down to the vin"???
@@axemanners6643 have you ever owned a 7 up I'm talking about the casting numbers I also have one with a stroker motor but I'm not talking about a motor with work I'm talking about a stock 7 up mustang it's not up for debate I'm telling you I have one and I put a 5.0 ho out of a 93 it's rated at 225 HP and the stock 7 up motor red line past 7 thousand rpm and all the other ho is 55/58 hundred rpm my 7 up run 60 in first 98 in second 135 in 3rd gear and it's a five speed I beat a 308 cam high rise intake 750 double pumper holly carb through the quarter and top end he backed out so u can't tell me because I have one
