Great review! The Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) in this keyboard is so good that I have not missed the usb dongle at all. As long as your computer is not extremally old or extremely slow you should be fine. The Low Energy type of bluetooth makes the battery last a lot and the implementation in this keyboard is excellent. There is no latency that I can sense, and the connection is very snappy and reliable.
Unfortunately you can only use the bolt receiver for the Mx keys mini if you want a wireless connection other than Bluetooth. If you opt for the larger version, you can then use the normal Logitech unifier receiver.

Absolutely correct. I’m still using it till today and not a single hiccup. The thing is built like a tank!
