Best review of this keyboard ever! I thought I was the only one having issues with the mouse being too far away from the keyboard when using a full size, but I am happy I am obviusly not. You are answering my question directly. Many thanks for that. What is keeping me from getting the mx keys mini is the lack of dongle. I am really afraid of relying solely on the bluetooth connection. What is your experience with it? Have you had any connectivity issues? And a last question - the name of your channel suggests that you are coding - do you find this keyboard to be appropriate for that?
Thanks for your kind feedback. I use it every day and I regularly switch between numerous Windows machines and MacBook Pro and never had an issue connecting or waking up keyboard. If you ever used Magic Keyboard for coding and liked it, you will like this one too
Same problem, I got the new full size Apple Keyboard and since then I started having very annoying hand cramps!! I figured out the keyboard might be the issue as its wide and my right arm is now too farm (I am used to the mini apple keyboard) so now im considering to buy this as Apple does not have a black mini keyboard.
Do you think this keyboard is good for programming? I'm hesitating between the mini and full-size versions because of the small arrow keys on the mini.
does yours go to auto sleep after not using it for a while? Mine never does, even if I am away for say an hour or so. It just stays connected all the time and doesn't need to wake up if you know what I mean.
*Logi options* was what i was looking for! Perfect that you can have remapping per program that's awesome. Also change the Emoji button to something else. *"win + ."* 🎨🎈👀 does the same thing

I know programmers who are happy with MX Keys and I personally would go for that numpad and full size arrow keys but for casual user Mini is just fine

for me it works just fine and automatically goes to sleep after some time. Do you use Logi Options+ ?
@@Decoding_Labs yes I do use that app. Not sure why mine never goes to sleep and there is no settings about this that I can find in Options+

In terms of gaming, does plugging it in to usb-c negate any latency issues? Or does the USB only charge the device ?
when plugged in it charges but it's still fully usable even for gaming, no issues for me

No latency with dongle at all, Bluetooth can get latency sometimes, not recommended. And no wired use.

Thanks, surprisingly not at all only under certain lighting and from certain angle - I would not worry about finger prints at all

Which one is better - graphite or space grey?
Color choice is very subjective but I prefer the one from the video Graphite is my favourite
