I feel like Rasputin arrived at the wedding in his old outfit, saw the scene and found no-one there.
Once he understood what happened, he purposefully went to get a makeover as he's heartbroken and then goes back to the venue to perform 'I Am My Own Muse'.
Something about the idea of Rasputin running around finding somewhere to get the makeover just for this song is funny to me.

personally i explain rasputin's outfit change with my theories about flow. i think when coaches costume change/change forms in maps, it's due to the coach (often unconsciously) tapping into the dance energy around them. we see rasputin arriving at the venue in his normal outfit in sbp, then i think he had a breakdown when he saw what happened, and his emotions tappeded into the dance energy of the area, transforming his clothes into what we see in i am my own muse (and i argue that this energy is what caused the change in his pictures as well)
Fun fact: The background for Hot N Cold is available as Lvl 1 reward on Season 2: Y2K, and the description is ‘For shattered hearts’, which is a perfect proof for The Bride’s 2 break-up

Maybe after getting rejected by The Bride in "Last Friday Night"; the "Never Gonna Give You Up" coach went all supervillian and kidnapped Rasputin or at least delayed him enough to have him late for the wedding.

If Mister Overload went evil that could be such a cool storyline for the Without Me trio (given they became heroes inspired by him)

I think the unexpected event in the story is the Night Swan attack in Just Dance 2023 Edition, maybe he got captured on the way to the wedding and got saved in Majesty, since SbP and Majesty happens at a sunset background so they probably happen at the same time.
That would also mean that Liza Friday (One of her best friends) also couldn't be there at the wedding. (Too busy serving NS) Imagine how much worse that must have been for her without someone to comfort her through another 'rejection'.
@@annabarnes5221 *le gasp* or worse! She thought they left her together. She was having a breakdown, she would be thinking the absolute worse about it since she would have no idea what's going on. If my groom left me at the alter and someone I was close to was a no show, I'd think the worse.
Avery, girl... I hate to break it to you, but the way I see it, I don't think there's a happy ending in the horizon for these two. It seems to me that the Bride is way too far past the point of no return to consider forgiving Rasputin for missing the wedding, and one of the most notorious things about the historical Grigori Rasputin is the over-the-top way he died... I believe this story will end with either the Bride killing Rasputin or both of them dying together while the wedding venue goes up in flames around them.
Also, on your desire for a lore/backstory season, after seeing the trailer for the Y2K season and one of the emotes that will be available as a reward, I think that may be coming sooner than expected... 😉

Also i think Rasputin had the makeover after he got to the wedding venue in Sweet But Psycho, as seen in that map's ending with his old look, that couldn't be why he was late... damn you Just Dance traffic

I can't say I'm shocked she was left in Hot N cold, since the MV of Hot n Cold is the groom at the alter imaging throughout the song if he said no/nothing to Katy. In the end if all worked out but it's a nice detail they carried that Abandoned at the alter feature into the song

As someone who is gay, the homophobia i revived was super hard to deal with I love how your talking about how people don’t have to support it they just have to be supportive of the person who is gay. And your so lucky that your family supports that your pansexual my family didn’t react well when I came out as gay there are 2 gay family members me and my aunt. We’ve both dealt with huge amounts of homophobia especially me because I’m in high school in 2024 and I received a lot of slurs and a lot of people calling me weird or just making fun of boys liking boys and you covering gay topics make me so happy because you’re one of my favorite RUclipsrs. Side note this map is soooo beautiful I love seeing a gay love story unfold like grace and aris. Love you Avery I’m so happy you covered this topic 💖
Since Aurore said the map was his reaction and feelings, what if this new makeover was all in his head?
The Bride, Rasputin all showed us how they felt and not necessarily how they look irl. Hell maybe the venue isn't destroyed by The Bride at all, and all the fixing Rasputin was trying to do was them mending their own relationship backstage or sth.
This theory will save them from having to explain how both of them got makeovers, and if they do decide to wed, there's no need to ask other Just Dancers to help build the venue again lmaooo

I have this dream that the main story line is sort of like the end game battle where a bunch of coaches go with Jack to get the group back and since we know the maps aren't released chronologically maybe rasputin was part of that which is why he missed the wedding. Its long shot but I really think a massive dance battle would be cool even if its unrealistic in every way lol

Rasputin didn't show up with a makeover! i think after he was late, Bride probably stopped contacting him, which made him sad and he kept going to the wedding spot? (since it looks like time has passed, the building isnt even a building anymore) and throughout that time he and his style changed

I don't think the make over is any problem, as we know, Danceverse people have powers through The Flow just like the people in Star Wars through The Force, like Wanderlust's portals, and we see in almost every map how they change clothes or the entire background in seconds. From the beginning this was just a cinematic effect but now it can be surely explained with that, they have powers humans don't have. The theory with the Lady Gaga coaches really makes sense! I hope they do that, that would be such a cool plot twist and story. They have many oppurtinities to create cool stories, like Wanderrose, Mihaly and Panda relationship, Jacks father.. But as I met the Just Dance team, they probably won't do it which is sad lol
But the lore is phenomenal nonetheless, it's AWESOME how good and well explained it is and how real the world feels. It's dancing after all, dancing is love and emotions

I don’t think he had JUST arrived to the wedding venue in I am my own Muse. Bc at the end of Sweet But Psycho, he’s in his normal outfit. I think in I Am My Own Muse, time has passed and Rasputin is mourning his lost bride, hence why his look is different. So he wasn’t late to the wedding because he was getting a makeover.

I have theory about rasputin and the bride. So in the mobile version of Just Dance "Just Dance Now" there is a special album that shows the love of rasputin and the bride and in the order of songs is Hot n Cold , Rasputin , The Hungarian Dance , last friday night, and lastly Sugar so the theory comes in rasputin decides to try to ask out the girl in The Hungarian Dance but gets rejected, then rasputin decides to ger sober and drinks "apple juice" but sees the bride and decides to ask her out and my theory for their drama now in 2023 and 2024 is probably the map i am my own muse started first and rasputin came first and got upset that the bride wasn't there and left and the bride came afterward and got upset because she thought he was late.
