Imagine coming across less and less of ur own each day until u can’t hear or see anyone,u can scream out into the night sky but all u hear is the Australian wilderness
    I would cry

That reminds me of watching the video of a bird calling out into the night and not getting any replies because it was the last of it's kind. I think it was in New Zealand? I could be wrong.

Unfortunately there are cases throughout history. when man doesn't like something he sweeps it away, then he only notices the damage done years later

I love these guys. If they were still around they’d be my favorite animal. Idk if they count now that they’re extinct. They’re just so cool but I cry if I think too much about them ❤

Did you write the words the poem of the tiger's thoughts in this video, wild world? The whole was very beautiful and moving. It really brings home the how terrible extinction really is. I must admit I personally never have considered how it must feel from the animals point of view. I've known extinction is awful and has happened at the fault of man, and it's a shame on our species. It shows only the selfishness, greed, disregard man has for the world and other creatures. But never had I considered how horrible it must be for them, how each individual must feel as they no longer see anyone of their own kind less and less. Thank you for this eye opening video.

I think you mean Benjamin ?
Frank Darby, who claimed to have been a keeper at Hobart Zoo, suggested Benjamin as having been the animal's pet name in a newspaper article of May 1968. No documentation exists to suggest that it ever had a pet name, and Alison Reid (de facto curator at the zoo) and Michael Sharland (publicist for the zoo) denied that Frank Darby had ever worked at the zoo or that the name Benjamin was ever used for the animal. Darby also appears to be the source for the claim that the last thylacine was a male. Robert Paddle was unable to uncover any records of any Frank Darby having been employed by Beaumaris/Hobart Zoo during the time that Reid or her father was in charge and noted several inconsistencies in the story Darby told during his interview in 1968.

I hate us for what we do to the planet and it’s inhabitants. People can act like we aren’t to blame for most extinctions but we are. Whether we took them out as a whole like the dodo, or if we played a major part like the thylacine we still played a major role.
