No.... Flame emission is emitted the electron like photons and generate the colour then it will determine the .. molecules and in AAS ... It will absorb the radiation .... And further it will measure the concentration on the basis of absorption
Principle of AAS is absorption and here we detect any metal while principle of flame photometry is emission and we detect only alkali and alkaline metal.
