I have to tell you that I have spent hours, possibly hundreds of hours at least, & several months last year, two different times and this year again trying to fix my printer. The black went out last year. I watched all the videos. I did all the things, printhead cleaning nozzle checks, purge pages. The only thing I did not do was a power clean! I pulled ink through the damper, I pulled ink through the hoses. I finally broke down and ordered a new printer. My new printer works like a dream! However, I was about to send the 1st printer I got last year back since I have the extended protection. I decided to add a little more ink just in case. Then I decided to look one more time to see if anyone has a video out now on this particular printer (since it was still fairly new and I could not find any info out there in YT land about this specific printer, although most ET's are very similar) and yours came up. Now I watched it once or twice last night but it was getting pretty late and apparently I missed the crucial step, although I thought I did it. After leaving it sit overnight, turning it back on. I still tried to pull ink through because now none of the other colors except for yellow worked either. I watched this video one more time, since I was more awake today LOL, and lo and behold, the very last step was to press that recharge button and voila. Every👏single👏color👏 worked, including the black! The black has not worked in nearly a whole year! So thank you, thank you, thank you for this video!! Such a simple fix I'm canceling the return even though I now have two ET 2400's! printers.
