- Acrylic pouring fluid art inspirational video. This afternoon, just feeling really free and having so much fun! I had a lot of different paints floating around, starting to build an interesting color palette. I think the outcome was really dramatic and unexpected, I hope you like it! Many of these paints were mix for Pearl Painting, some of them I made thicker with verathane and Polyurethane. Others were Bloom paints that I thinned down with some water to the correct consistency. This was a very medium to thin consistency and all the paint. The white was just a latex house paint mixed with water and GAC 800. If you want to know the particular recipes any of these colors let me know.

These pieces are nice. The bottom of the piece on the left is gorgeous. However, ( knowing I will be attacked, not by you) I have to say I am much more fond of your work that is a bit more intentional. I know spinning is the rage, and artists are creating some beautiful works, but your style is so unique. I understand the need to grow and challenge yourself. But, God gifted your hands, your sense of motion, your blend of colors, detail work, etc. Perhaps I am just selfish in my love of your intentional, within random. You certainly know better than I, the directions inwhich you want to grow. Fly free bird....
Hey Michell, thank you so much for your honest feedback, it really means a lot. It’s funny once the paint was on the canvas I was looking at it and I almost went into work with it but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I think it’s a good example of letting the paint lead the way. Sometimes it needs a lot more attention other times it just needs left alone.

I needed time to mentally and emotionally digest these beauties. Do you prepare yourself ( meditate ? ), just before you start? As beautiful Michelle from Grateful Creations said "IMPRESSIVE". I do not think I am biased in saying that this is another "Master Piece". OH!!! how I envy those that are able to have apart of Sara Taylor in there home, because your creations have so much beauty, passion for all life, love, joy and positive energy.

You’re awesome, thank you for sharing this! I love your question about preparation. Mostly it sort of depends on what’s going on mentally and spiritually. Lots of my art comes after my yoga practice. Other times I just have a lot of inner energy that’s explosive and needs to come out. During this painting I was really energetic and listening to loud music, I was having a lot of fun!
I’ll share with you, I used to have an issue with addiction, I think that part of my personality plays into the creative. I crave this experience.

Your creation is beautiful. Do you find the white house latex paint gives a good coverage on canvas when GAC 800 and water are added compared to white Golden or Liquitex? Do you mind sharing the exact measurements of house paint to GAC800 and water. Thanks for keeping us inspired.

So soft, like a dream. I love how the colours are defined by bold edges but then they just fade out softly like they’re melting in to the white.
The colours are perfect, so warm. As it’s valentines, the two pieces together make me think of twin flames dancing.

Hi Sarah, love what you do, it’s inspired me to try harder. I’ve started to experiment with spinning, small canvases aren’t a problem but bigger like 20 x 20 or the ones in this tutorial I have a problem securing the canvas to the cake spinner. Yours looks interesting with the handles to grab onto, is there any chance of showing what you use please. 🤗🤗

What are the benefits of using puppy pads? I see many artists using them now. Is it easier to save left over paint? Or just to keep things tidy? Why puppy pads rather than plastic?
They really help keep things tidy, it’s great to use for a workspace, that’s how I use them. I just use them on my workbench where I mix my paints and what not. It’s easy to wipe tools off on them, I try not to use to any of them to cause waste but they really are convenient. I also use plastic sheeting.

Patricia, it is pretty powerful and can definitely take over. I would advise using it pretty sparingly in these techniques.😁🙏

Hi Lisa, sorry I missed the comment! I actually got the spinner from Jessica Winterstrom, she sells them and they’re awesome. The black cell activator here was just one part Amsterdam black oxide to three parts Australian floetrol.

@@SaraTaylor ok I may have to take you up on this. Plus I'm getting a tiny bit discouraged with the hours spent on mixing paint lol. Im use to mixing to get the color I want for a regular painting, but then with adding everything else, it's literally taking me multiple hours. Then if i don't love the outcome, I feel so deflated. I have one painting I don't hate out of 27hrs this week lol.
