U can improve the wall strength by laying the bricks in zig zag manner.. instead of putting them directly one above the other. Like half of any brick will be on one brick of the below layer and other half will be on the next brick of the below layer. So the brick will have much more strong hold to each other

its from the other builds thats how it got water
He has pipes to allow the water to flow past the dam and when he is done building the dam he blocks off the pipes so the water has nowhere to go.
