2015 t680 eaton ultrashift i got lucky a year back cause my clutch actuator was on recall and dealer replaced for free so maybe check with dealer first. My symptoms was slamming into gear or not disengaging out of gear when comming to stop or start. Recently had same codes. Slipping in and out of gear at random. clutch was bad. $5700. Thank you kw of Carlisle, pa. It was a perfectly timed breakdown. I went there early morning and was out by early afternoon.
Great video, I know it’s been a while, but am having an issue with my transmission showing fault, it’s 2014 Pete 579 same tranny giving code 19, 16 is this the ECA I need to replace? It did this to me couple times already I had to try to reset the system, hope to hear from you thanks!
Please inspect your clutch and inertia brake before replacing ECA because if they are worn out it will possibly give a false ECA fault issue. Had a friend have the same issue couple of days ago.
@TheTruthCvo2022 in my case it was a defective Electronic Clutch Actuator. It is highly advisable to inspect the clutch and clutch break for excessive wear because those might throw the same code.
Hey marshall Im having an issue on my eaton fuller advantage , while running it randomly acts as if my clutch is not engaging and it cant find a gear after that, i have to pull over and take off transmission fuse or ecm fuse a few times and cycling on and off the key until my screen shows that it is in neutral/F instead of “**” and F , do you believe the electric clutch Actuator is the cause of it? Clutch and inertia brake were replaced about 3 months ago new.. truck will work like nothing happened for a while until the transmission fault pops up again and I lose gears and eventually stop and reset it into neutral
Good afternoon, very good video, thanks to it I changed my actuator myself but now I have a problem, the truck runs well but when it goes to change from 9 to 10 it accelerates above the revolutions and I get a code which is SPN 0522 fmi10 I don't know if it has to do with calibration, please give me your advice when you can, thank you very much
@benniemabena1699 make sure your battery terminals are not corroded. Clean them up and torque them down. Also make sure you don't have any loose connections at the clutch actuator or TCM.
@TriggerzElite Ideally you'd need the software to reset. I hear you can disconnect batteries and let computers recalibrate. Or turn key on and off 10 times to reset.
Just changed mine yesterday!!! Thanks for the video 🙏🏽

Thank you for the video marshal.. I think I need to replace mines. It’s giving me a code 64 any every now and then I won’t go into gear.
I just ordered one and about to replace mine on a 15 international prostar
Many blessings my brother. Be safe
Did that part need programming/calibration?

@@Tech_Marshal same here $4100
@@AMIKECHUBROS loose connections are suspect

Based on the spn, Sound like you need to calibrate new actuator to the truck. Easily done with eaton service ranger.
Do you of to program the clutch actuator?
If you cycles the key 10 times the actuator will calibrate.
If you cycle the key 10 times the actuator will calibrate.
I have a 2019 -Pete 579
I have the code E74-1010
@@Tech_MarshalReally? I have 2017 dealer said it needs computer calibration
What causes this part to go bad
It's a moving part it does a lot of movement opening and closing the clutch to eventually it wears out.
What computer do you use
Regular Windows 10 laptop with Eaton Service Ranger, and Jpro Softwares.
What was the symptoms of the issue
The truck wouldn't engage in gear R or D
Marshal how are you brother, I got a 2019 t880 , I got stuck on the road with a code 64 coming up , what's your take please?. Thanks

i have replace a clutch do i have to reprogram the actuator ?
Yes it has to learn the New thickness of the clutch and the clutch brake.
