I've had one of these for a couple of years and found it to be great . Only problem is your detailing jobs take longer as you start chasing perfection in small areas you wouldn't usually bother with!
Took me a while to figure out what was happening in that intro..... then I realised it was the reflection!! 🤦😄 Need to change my choice of beer! Handy bit of kit that Paul.
That looks like a handy tool!
Specially for hard to reach areas!!
Looks very easy to use as well!!
Thanks for the video!!
For your viewers who are cost conscience, try using your drill with 3 inch hook & loop pads.
Very useful video Paul , I've got the Shinemate mini rotary and a Dewalt full size rotary which can sometimes be a bit of a handful , I've actually polished a full car with the Shinemate and it coped very well , the Proxxon would be a nice bit of kit to add to the arsenal.
Thanks Paul, most useful video I've seen on this polisher !
Hi Paul, this Rotary Polisher is handy for the small details like bumpers and grilles.great video.
Excellent video as always Paul. I would imagine these would be quite useful for the weekend warrior who just does a little bit of spot polishing or badge removal 👍
Looks like a handy piece of kit Paul 😎👍🏻🏴
Just added to my Christmas list. Fingers crossed Im on the good list
A great machine is the Proxxon! Wouldn’t be without mine Paul 👊🏻
Great vid! Thought about buying this one for a while. Would probably use it for removing scratches and other metal polishing work.
Great video Paul 👍 I’ve still not been brave enough yet to try a rotary hahah!
As an FYI, Proxxon is not a brand who make detailing tools at all. The tool Paul used is designed for woodturners to finish their projects. Proxxxon's speciality is in small bench tools. They are excellent quality tools, with that said. Great video Paul and really informative on the way a non detailing specialist tool can be correctly used to achieve similar results. I'd be curious to see how the cordless version stacks up against the versions from detailing specialist brands such as rupes.
Very convenient! Nice small head too, really let's you use those tiny tooth polisher sized pads in a tight spot if ever needed.
I’ve had this on my watch list on eBay for a couple of years now. Looks great for those of us on a budget and not using it every day
GM Details click my link big G 😉 Amazon
One of my favourites, use it extensively on headlights.
Axminster tools sell Proxon and all the pads and backing plates, there is a kit including extension shaft. Bought recently second hand including some Rupes polish used on alloy wheels and could get around exhaust with wool pad and metal polish.
Andrew Wilshaw nice one Andy 👌🏻😉
I've got to be honest, I've a lot of your videos to catch up with Paul, but I was looking at mini polishers the other day and saw your insta post so what better video to start catching up with 👍
Michael - TBD good timing my friend 👍🏻
Looking forward to seeing the Proxxon in action. I ended up opting for the Shinemate EP803 as my mini rotary alternative.
Detailing and the Beast Hi Dave that’s the little brother to my main Rotary 👌🏻
Great little polisher 👌👍 short lead but easy fix 👍 great video Paul 👌👍
Alien Magic cheers Rob
You should try to get a Sealey cordless polisher CP18VOP to test. That is an amazing bargain for under 200 quid, really impressive build quality. I'd lend you mine if you lived in Yorkshire!
Glad your giving up the strong beer. Well put together video 👍 i am scared to use the rotary ever since I swirled up my car.
Car Nation Videos move slow with fluid movements and keep the pad lubricated 👍🏻
Cool little gadget ;)
I’ve got this ,as well as an EP803, and love it. Interested to hear your thoughts on this.
Just for anyone who might be interested, Proxxon have released a DA version of this if you aren't keen on orbital!
FinleyK I didn’t know that thank you 🙏🏻
@@PaulDoldenDetails no worries pal, nice video, think I'm gonna purchase one!
Appreciate the KAVD Store mention. We try to stock all useful kits for 1”, 2” and 3” with or without backing plates 👍🏼
Keep up the good work buddy! I’ll drink the strong beer on your behalf... 🍺🍺🍺
Stephen Muir good health to you my friend 👍🏻
Hard to beat buffing it out on a Friday night 😬😬😂😂
I'm 9 months sober Paul, the first couple of months are the hardest. cliched i know, but it's the truth. Never even think about it now.
jon mayhew Hi Jon it’s something I’ve struggled with for years I’m not a drunk but I hit the strong stuff a little too much and often and it’s ruining my health thanks for your comment takes a lot of balls that 🙏🏻
@@PaulDoldenDetails No problem Paul, I think we both have a similar issue - mine was an inability to limit myself. I didn't drink daily or anything worrying like that but once I started I couldn't just have a few. Best of luck 👍
I’ve just bought autobrites DA3 mini polisher, haven’t tried it yet but this polisher looks a good bit of kit! Great video.
P90NTS -VRS if you’re on a budget it’s not bad
Paul Dolden Details would you mind doing a review on any glass cleaners and clothes?
P90NTS -VRS when I finally catch up good idea 💡
Here's the rpm spec from off the Proxxon website, 230V. 100W. 800 - 2,800rpm
I show it in the video just a shame there’s no speed chart
@@PaulDoldenDetails sory I was skipping through video mustn't have seen it. Ill be reviewing a cordless da polisher by sealey soon, had the chance to use it and its well worth its price and quality.
Well i went and gone and bought one Mr D so I shall see how tight it get into those flaps
I looked at this , but opted for the liquid element mini polisher .
Imagine doing a whole car with one. Be like Andy digging out of Shawshank 😂
They do look a great bit of kit and far more affordable compared to something like an ibrid.
Or the Flex equivalent. That Ibrid seems staggeringly expensive doesn't it?
@@SuperchargedLlama I think the thing to remember is that the ibrid was the first of its kind. That will always come with expense. Now it's been copied the prices of its contemporaries is much lower which is good for all of us.
@@TranquilityBaseDetailing yup agreed with that completely. Tbh if you're doing this as your source of income it's well worth the investment due to the ease and speed increase it could give you in completing a job to a fantastic standard. If it's your side hustle or passion...then it's personal preference isn't it.
@@SuperchargedLlama Absolutely. No wrong way just personal preference
Proxxon also do a random orbital version
Paul Glass Hi Paul I’ll try and put a link in cheers mate👌🏻
hi paul sounds daft but could you use a drimmel with polishing small pads as i have one and hardly used it would like to put it to use
Depends on size and how they attach
I can't get on with a rotary. I have the ep803 but I just get buffer trails
Matthew Angove try more compound or spray the pad with a small amount of water
What was the reasoning behind this machine instead of the EP803 which comes with backing plates and pads. Interested to know why you decided on this machine over the shinemates mini rotary.
Thanks
James Bamby Hi James it was actually chance a friend of mine was selling it the shinemate is the bigger and better machine and is still in the running as I have it’s bigger brother 👍🏻
when you buy a Proxxon wp/e. the cord is 2,4meters long, not short or what you say ey?
Mine was short so I can only comment on my purchase
I would like to know if it creates holograms on the panel. I ask because he is rotary
Personally stick to small areas then follow up with a DA polisher
Can you get the DA attachment for this?
No you can’t since this video though I’ve got a battery DA similar in size www.kdndetailing.co.uk/kdn-detailing-nano-polisher
I always love e28 porn, and some implied granny jokes.
Not old enough yet to appreciate the other way around...
your merch link isnt working mate
Gavin King when you click it then click home it works 😍😍👌🏻
@@PaulDoldenDetails cool u may want to check Swivel Adapter link, loving the video's still learning the basic so not going power tools just yet hehe
Gavin King cheers Gavin Dam links 😭
@@PaulDoldenDetails no probs hope it helps if they are referral ones
Done mate changed the swivel coupler link
A specky guy brought me here.
Bonkers About Alice my Scottish brother 🙏🏻
You don't look well on this video. Get back on the strong beer 🍺 Great video Paul
Cheers
Peter
disher01 A mixture of days and nights combined my friend 😭
I don't consider over £100 budget or a bargain
stuart winstanley in detailing that’s still cheap unfortunately
2 thumbs down from people working at a Belgium brewery! 😉
JWL 😭😍😍
Probably the best bang for buck is this one www.area52-shop.de/en/polish/polishing-machines/eccentric-polishing-machine/1744/liquid-elements-a1000-v3-mini-akku-poliermaschine-b-ware?c=241
😃✨? Who can i buy this extension shaft ? i can not find online £ink🪄✨or is this a self made shaft
Good luck with resisting the Beer 😀 Never seen that mini polisher before so cool review. Will invest in a key ring and more merch soon.
Every Day Detailing Hey Phil it’s not bad for the money 💰
