Being considered a “Wild Child” for just showing a healthy curiosity for the world is genuinely heartbreaking. No child deserves to be punished for existing, especially in the “missing” short. The courage neeeded to share this kinda stuff, immaculate.

It's never fun when you make a mistake or a mass. Especially when you try really hard not to. For me I guess it's when I actually cook something. I try to cook for the right amount of time, put whatever needs to go into the food, and when it comes out burnt yeah I do feel sad but when they come out looking perfect I'm beaming with joy and pride. Yeah I'm still learning, yes I'm learning to cook with the stove and oven, yes I do have trust issues with the oven cause I got brunt twice pulling pizzas out, but that all comes with learning.
We all have scars but some are deeper than others but we can heal from the people that care that want to help and eventually we will heal and make the world a better place

I’m pretty traumatized from the medical shit I went through, and the resulting trauma responses I hid for years. I was spoiled. My dad and papa had good jobs. I had lots of toys. My toys were my best friends. I told them what I couldn’t tell other people. And now my family is less safe. I’ve seen parts of them that aren’t the best. And trying to heal that sick little kid while preparing for college and beyond is so scary. Maybe one day I’ll be able to give her what she needs. Like you’ve done for wc
I always get sad when the fireworks short starts, cause I know what happens and as someone with an autistic younger brother who’s scared of roller coasters, who has to see what every roller coaster is like or have someone else with him, I can think of a few ways he could’ve handled the fireworks differently. Distance, covering ears, giving access or explaining safety. Like, just having something to help if something goes wrong probably would’ve helped!
