@@1970chevelle396 I know several guys they’ve tried those small welders, I had one that ran $299.00 and was my fav for small repairs in the field. It ran about 20-25 amps cold. It was ok after figuring that out. And at 12 pounds loved carrying in to a job. Was a great little tig welder too.
@1970chevelle396 thank you I ran the unit on 120v and 230v. The voltage drop terribly on 120v it dropped to about 86V while welding. On split phase 240V drop was not even noticeable it dropped to 236V, and the rods melt like butter.
Surprisingly the little welder did OK. Might make a good backup
Thanks
If you only need a welder now and then would be a handy unit.
Thanks
Good vid , nice little welder
Thanks
Amperage way too high. 3/32 6011 should run about 60-80 amps. I’m thinking welder running colder then indicated.
It might be running colder than indicated. Even all the way up it took a few try’s to get the arc started.

Both of my Tig welders and one of my Mig welders can stick weld. But I’ve never tried to stick weld with them before.
Lovely video. Is it Split phase 230v you input voltage?
Yes it is

Is your Coverall FR rated or just standard?
No there not
@@1970chevelle396 Thanks a-mill for the speedy reply.
