The Pro is a heavier, bulkier version of the regular Ekster Cardholders. It is not much of an upgrade if you already have the premium/carbon fiber Ekster Cardholder. The premium/Carbon Fiber Cardholder comes with the same silicon Band that has rubber padding behind the logo. The cash clip plate is also sold separately. Basically this is only an "upgrade" if you do not own a Carbon Fiber Wallet.
Is there any mechanism on the top end to keep the cards inside and make sure they dont fall out? You mentioned it came with an optional money clip backing, was really hoping to see how that looked on it in this video!
Hi, there is no cover on the top of the card holder, the only thing that helps keep the cards in place are rubber grips on the inside . I unfortunately did not have access to the money clip but I did have a slide in the video that showed what it looks like.
I have the Carbon Fiber version of the Card Holder. I’ll wait for Ekster to come out with the carbon fiber version on the Pro model. I find the CcF version a bit lighter than the Aluminum version.
@@JNGold The Carbon Fiber pro would be heavier and that defeats the whole purpose of a carbon fiber build. Carbon fiber is known for having high strength at half the weight of steel. You would not benefit from a carbon fiber pro. Maybe if they did a pure stainless steel/titanium one though...
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Does the company even exist? Ordered one on Saturday, it is still in LA as per tracking. Cannot even talk to a human. Customer service is via email (yes chat that they claim goes as email) and they promised they will get back. Never do.
If someone needs six-seven or more cards, they need a full size wallet. Remember how many phone calls to banks you're going to have to make if your wallet is stolen, to cancel all your cards. Choose wisely.
Plenty of wallets that hold 7+ cards that aren’t full sized wallets. Regarding the canceling of cards. Most financial apps allow you to cancel cards within the app, no biggie.
@@phxmiller😂fine, you were mugged, phone and wallet is gone, how do you cancel all the cards and can you do it before the criminals charge it up 😅. Yeah, zero liability cards but, with SamsungPay/Apple pay/GoogleWallet, people don't need to be carrying tons of cards. SamsungPay has Knox security for best security but, that's a seperate convo too.
Fro $99 for the pro I would expect the back plate to be included
Dope upgrade! Ekster does it again 🔥
The pro scratches the edges of the metal cards. Now my venture x has exposed metal edges

Agreed.
Where do you get the shiny metallic thing in the back of the regular cardholder that you are showing?

With 7 non embossed card my metal card isn't sliding out like it was on my carbon fiber ekster.

@@taggie_ Carbon fiber is lighter than aluminum and thus a CF version would be lighter than the equivalent Aluminum version of the same.
Just got this today, I found that with more than 1 but less than 7 cards, if I shake the wallet, cards do come out. You think mine is defective?
Made in?
