"Tomb Engine is based on Tomb Editor", this isn't correct and makes little sense, they are two different things. Like the name says, Tomb Engine is the "engine" in which levels are playable, and Tomb Editor is the "editor" in which we craft/build the levels. Tomb Engine is based on TR5, whereas Tomb Editor is based on the official Core Design editor called winroomedit, and also NGLE (which was an extended editor for TRNG levels) Spreading words about our little levels community is more than welcome, but make sure to know what you talk about to avoid misinformation!
MuH MiSiNfOrMaTiON c'mon. honest mistakes happen. misinformation is too strong of a word for this, paints the speaker in a bad light. Your comment looks more like a fallacy than an honest attempt to educate now.
I knew someone would come up to complain about what I said. If you decide to make such informative video then you have to be sure of what you say, personally the difference between an editor and an engine is a lot, so it's not an "honest mistake" to me, it's like saying "apples are based on oranges".🙂 And I also said that such videos are very welcome to make other people know about our work, so it doesn't put the speaker in a bad position either. If the author of this video asked us builders to check the wording we would've done it, sadly this happens more than you think and it's not a good feeling. Then again, happy to think differently than I do.😄
Amazing vid about an amazing game
Thank you so much!
A new Midnights' Musings!?!?
