Awesome, so if I understand correctly, this is basically an external disk on steroids especially designed for Davinci Resolve. If it included a Studio license, I would really consider getting this instead of a G-Drive 🤔
I've been using Blackmagic Cloud (not Cloud Store) with Google Drive. It's been great except I noticed that the filepath for the files has to be the same for all users even on Multiuser projects. Have you ever run into this issue?
I love it! I've also been using it for years. I plan to do a new video about my whole data storage setup as well as the multisite replication I have in place. About a month ago I picked up Intel optane SSD's just for metadata vdevs and oh my! If you have large pools and never played with the specialty allocation class I highly recommend exploring low-latency solutions for the metadata.

i have been using FreeNAS now TrueNAS Core for years and years now nice to see other people use TrueNAS
