Precisely this. Microphones never capture how you will hear the actual keyboard through your own ears. Everyone hears sounds differently as well due to the shape of your head/ears. So you know... these sound tests are practically useless. Sure they can sound nice here. But then you do exactly the same thing as people do in the video and build a nice keyboard. Chemically, its not going to do anything unless contaminated with lead. Mechanically, it's more durable than any plastic except in extreme thermal change. The switch post might wear out over time rubbing against the hard ceramic. It might be uncomfortable in hot/cold environments. Spring tension needs to be increased due to high mass.

sounds soooo good i love this the space bar does sound little "heavy" but everything else just sounds so smooth i like it. What switches are these I might ahve missed that
It seems like the space key being too heavy for the switch is the common problems you'll find with the ceramics keycap, either the manufacturer need to somehow reduce the weight for the space key or make a specified switches just for it
I placed an order for a set of these for a very special mechanical keyboard, my Abkoncore AR87. An incredibly special keyboard, weighing in at nearly 7 pounds of machined aluminum, deserves incredibly special keycaps. So rather than using my all-stainless steel keycap set. Which were OEM Profile and didn't quite fit the style as this keyboard was really designed to be used with Cherry Profile. I went ahead with this instead! I'm extremely excited to be one of the first with an all-ceramic keycap set in exclusive Crazed Blue. In addition to the other mods I've got planned like soldering LEDs to backlight the keycaps etc. It'll be about as custom as it can get and incredibly rare, a crown jewel of a keyboard as it were, that'll be durable enough to last forever and something special I hope to pass down someday. They let me know since they got over 4,000 orders, they plan to get them all manufactured and shipped by August-October of this year!! May the Thock be with you.
I hate to be a prick, but why would you waste those nice key caps on cherrys 💀. You do you though, I genuinely hope it turns out nice and you thoroughly enjoy the keyboard.
@@AmrTGC Cherrys are by far the worse key switches, all of them are so cheap, wobbly, and sound like ass.
