☠If I ever end up on a plague cart and start hallucinating, barely alive, I hope that the driver is civil enough to at least play this album for me on the way to the pit. ☠
@@devonhedinger4132 A bard who uses dark, forbidden tablatures to summon the dead and infest the lands with the plague sounds like an awesome DnD villain.
This is what I want people to listen to when I talk about dungeon synth. Very clean dark and obscure atmosphere, it really feels like dying with high fever while having delirium hallucinations with the plague
I absolutely LOVE THIS !!!!! Yeah, If the Plague of the Middle Ages had a soundtrack, this would be it. You can almost hear the rats eating the flesh !!!!
It's like John Carpenter made an 80's dark fantasy movie and this is the sound track. This randomly popped up on my feed and its great, good work Penda.
Been playing random dungeon synth albums for the group in an ongoing DND session, and this one has definitely stood out of the crowd. Love the title, art, and the whole vibe. Great stuff
I love this, fantastic work here carving out a unique sound while still giving the listener plenty of familiar things to entice them into a new world. The album art is fantastic, too!
Wow, thank you, that's such a nice compliment to get. I really appreciate that. The artist is @e.j.m.design on Instagram. I highly reccomend checking out her other work, she's fantastic.
totally different spin on the genre from my all-time favorites "Secret Stairways" and "Depressive Silence", but incredibly intriguing and enjoyable 🙏🙏dungeon synth is awesome
this is art What a treat to wake up to These videos are SO incredibly high quality and they just keep improving somehow, keep em coming hails from drauglur from germany
This album diff. Haven't heard anything quite like this. A compelling piece of work from start to finish. Just the stories that surface in my mind from the name of the album and the image alone, not to mention the sonic tale of the album itself... Masterful. Great work here. This is going on the 'shit to show people who will really GET it' list.
welcome to dungeon synth.ambient. a million artists doing this same thing kiddo. get with the times, this style of music is ancient, maybe even start with klaus schulze.
@@JdjdbNdjdb I've listened to quite a few albums of the Fief and Dungeonsiege style, but this one stood out to me! I'll check out Klaus Schulze. Thanks for the recommendation. Cheers!
I wonder if works from Buckethead like "Spirit Winds" or "Cycles" (one single 26 minute song) could be classified as Dungeon Synth of some kind... or maybe his album "Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot" (the name really puts you in the mood)
I love this album, when this came out it made me much more interested in dungeon synth and overall heavier music and I'm glad I got more into it, thank you and great job! This sounds like something diseased and depressed medieval peasants would have made had they access to this technology.
Hey there, I'm super happy to say that cassette tapes are now available! Here is the link if you're still interested: pendasfen.bandcamp.com/album/plague-cart-hallucinations
All of themes, atmospheres, concepts and movements from this album are genius, really sounds like a lot of dedication and inspiration went into creating it, amazing work mate!
listened to the album twice in a row, no regret. it brings a variety of feelings and I'm glad it does. Thank you for creating such sound - such places, that can be reached through this sound.
You can do it, all you need is a DAW. The only live played keyboard part in this album is in the last song, and my first album was all done within Ableton. Get yourself a demo and start playing.

NECROBARD!
Really depends on if they release this on 8-track, which is basically the standard for plague cart stereo systems.
blinker off the plague cart got me hallucinating
under rated comment
that's what i thought the title meant till i looked closer at the art 🤣

Thank you pendasfen... the best dungeon synth to write and adventure for my RPG table.

Self tittled track and Charms lost, Charms won are quite unique. Looking forward for future material.
Definitely great music for rolling along on a dead cart with a 106 degree fever!
Extremely cool blend of genres. Like I'm going on a psychedelic trip through a dark fantasy world ravaged by plague.
This album is such an inspiration to me. Don't have anything else to say.

When a Lucio Fulci film meets Herbie Hancock. Love this. Gracias, amigo👊
Jesus, this could legit be music from Berserk. I love it.
that artwork is dark.... 🔥
Strange and fascinating, you nailed the atmosphere! The picture is absolutely beautiful as well!
Avec 20 ans de moins, c"'est probablement ce que j'aurai écrit mais j'ai entendu tant de choses ici qui m'ont surpris et enchanté 😝
Has a dark future kind of vibe to it but still very much dungeon synth, great stuff.
