Bah, people don't understand Lou Reed. He's a legendary performer, his vocals carry the weariness of a true rock n'roll life lived properly, and he doesn't care what you think of him. He's one of survivors of a byegone era that said fuck you to pretence and soullessness. No autotune, no effects...just raw emotion.

lighten up... lou reed died yesterday andwe all know now that he was dying of liver failure when he performed this... it probably took a lot of energy and courage for him to perform that night
