Fantastic video Tom, we don't underestimate the effort you put into the camera shots, constantly getting the drone up or setting up a camera for a walk past shot. This has been a massively engaging series and I can't wait to see how you meet some of the challenges later on 🙂
Honestly, I can’t imagine how amazing it must feel to be in the middle of those mountains. I drove through this summer and was stunned with their beauty so to be right up there with them, WOW! The first time I went to Scotland was as a pillion passenger and every turn we made, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I was almost crying I was so overwhelmed with its beauty. Thank you for sharing this with us.
It'll be great to see Iz again. I have to say, filming and editing this whilst undertaking a massive hike is impressive, love these videos ❤👍 Scotland really is a beautiful country 😍
Well done Tom! it has been quite an undertaking for you but you must have a great sense of achievement. I cannot believe it has been 5 weeks. Thank you for taking us along. Hi Iz 💕
Good afternoon Tom can’t believe you just finished the West Highlands Way your looking great and having great adventures glad your meeting up with Izzy and getting proper boots stay safe see ya soon 😘🌸🌺🌿
It's good to see you happy, Tom 👍 ... what a campsite! I see what you mean about the Glen Coe road 😮I'd never noticed the road before! As ever... Epic photography, Tom 👏👏👏 "He lives on the top floor!" 😢😂
This is better than watching travel programmes on TV. Glad to see you got some better weather at last! Great effort and wonderful scenery on the West Highland Way. Must seem very strange being back in civilisation 😮 I know where I'd prefer to be🙂
There is something so wild in seeing someone you don't know but still feel connected to because of yt walk the same roads and paths I did last year, sleeping in the same bothy I've stayed .Many of the thoughts you have , have been mine own while I walked through the Highlands and I supposed are quite universally shared by all the other long trails hikers... It's like a big fan. A reminder for me that nature is still the main protagonist, we all pass through it , we all walked those miles , but those mountains are still there and have seen thousands of People every year. Thank you for the video, it was so great to see the landscape in summer, I've walked it October and I was used to a pretty rigged orange countryside, it's nice to see it so green . You did great Tom, I can believe how fast you did it. It took me almost twice as long. Well done. Enjoy the next bit 😊😊
Very nice to meet you today near Keswick, at the foot of Lonscale Fell. Amazed at what you have done already and where you are intending to go. We achieved our goals today - wishing you every success with yours :-) Liane and Mark
Great update Tom as always, Love the ending where we see you smile seeing your mate and your lovely Izzy. Hope the new shoes make an appearance soon … think you need a treat for those poor feet (ooh I’m a poet now lol)
Hi Tom, your doing great 👍 Thank you for your kind words regarding my homeland. Some super shots of beautiful scenery and your smile is bigger than ever you seem if you’re in your element. I hope you’re going to do a book about your and Iz’s travels .😊
Got to say I really enjoy your vlogs ....fantastic young people you are so brave and daring. Tom has guts walking the length of the uk loved your Himalayan adventure ...my farther walked to the Everest base camp when he retired in the early 90 s ..very different from your experience...... he also walked the wainwright way a few times he’s now 87 so no longer able to ...he still walks in Derbyshire occasionally.......you have years to enjoy your exploring keep on enjoying whatever you do ..Lynne
Sunday evening and it’s Toms time amazing video again. So glad you made it safe and sound to Glasgow hope you and Izzy have a couple of great relaxing days together stay safe looking forward to the next one thanks 👍🏻🇮🇪☘️
This is really a neat adventure you have taken on. We are all traveling with you enjoying the scenery. You are getting all the exercise while we eat and watch. :)
Really enjoyed your video I think you definitely look so happy and healthier walking in the Highlands. It's a beautiful part of the world. Hope the weather keeps up and the rain stays away. Looking forward to your meeting up with Izzie miss seeing her 👍💚
Having gotten to 3/4 way through the Vlog I was so surprised (and happy TBH) that you'd finally got a day without rain, and then..🌧Fantastic commentary all along Tom and so happy to feel you've overcome lots of the difficulties you experienced in the early part of your epic stroll. Few days RnR and Isabel there with you will prep you for the next anxiously awaited episode of your UK 'Camino'. (Never Stop Walking.!).🤗.🚶♂👏👏🚐☘ p.s. Scotland's beautiful..
Tom, from across a massive pond in Maryland, USA so fantastic to watch your determination and information sharing of the places you are hiking. You are looking great despite the blistering of feet that come with it. Soon Isabelle will be joining, which will be so wonderful for you. Both of you have hiked some fantastic and challenging mountains and travels. Cheers.
That was tremendous Tom. Such incredible landscapes and your drone shots were out of this world. Nice to see Balmaha make an appearance too as we're staying at The Oak Tree Inn next month en route to Iona. Looking forward to seeing Iz on next week's video. You must have loved meeting up with her, a great pick me up for you 😊
Loving this series bud. Bless you. Strange you’re not being with Izzy but you’re meeting up soon aren’t you?! Keep it up my mate and fight through the blisters! You’re doing absolutely amazingly and we’re all rooting for you!!!! 💙🤘🙏🤜🤛

I am a relative newcomer to your channel as I have become so interested in van life but I am absolutely loving this Going Solo series. I can't believe I've got to wait another week now to see how your journey carries on. Keep going. You are an inspiration 👍
Well done Tom - you're such an inspiration and you've shared some amazing places with us in the last month, that most of us will never get to see for ourselves!

Wow, stunning footage. I’m partly sad you’ve reached Glasgow as the landscape will change dramatically but looking forward to seeing the rest of your walk and areas I’ve never been.
Interested in the pilgrimage angle. I read Guy Staggs ‘The Crossway’ recently. And his journey wasn’t a religious one. But more concerned with mindfulness and a kind of mental health re grounding. Really enjoyed it, would highly recommend if you haven’t already read it. Inspiring journey your on

Hey Tom, loving the videos. You have chosen a really nice route so far and am looking forward to seeing more of your adventures. If you need somewhere to stay in the Scottish Borders we have a small holding with plenty of space to pitch a tent. Take it easy and good travels🙂
Hey Tom, anther cracking video, we are enjoying this series so much. Can't wait to see your time walking with Izzy now. Happy and safe walking wherever you are now. K & N
Hello Tom, really enjoying the series. Based on timings assume you have not made it to Cornwall yet, would recommend walking on the coast path on the south side of Cornwall, go through Goran Haven, Mevagissey, and Charlestown etc, enjoy
Awesome Tom, I hope you can lose some of the weight out of your pack, I got mine down to 9 kilos for the WHW last May, it made such a difference, I could probably have survived more kilos but wouldn't have enjoyed it so much as I did. I've loved watching this adventure unfold, special memories for me of the Devil's Staircase through to FW. Now I'm thinking about the Cape Wrath for next year.
Tom, thank you so much for sharing your journey. You have taken me to some of my favourite places in this video. Can’t wait until the next one. You’re doing so well and are inspirational 😊
Another great update. Lovely to see you still in good spirits. Still have to remember you are filming and editing whilst doing this enormous feat. Safe travels Tom. Will be great to see Issy again next time.
