Hi! The Hair Gel powder (you can look it up on making cosmetics website) is a unique ingredient as it can be added to the formula cold or with very minimal heating of the water phase. As far as the things I have tried, there is no direct replacement that can perform this way in the formula as-is. You can omit it, but the final result will be more similar to our coffee & brown sugar scrub that you can find here: ruclips.net/video/uji7FoAIi7M/видео.html I will be posting another sugar scrub formula without that ingredient very soon! Please, stay tuned, if you're wanting an alternative scrub formula with similar results. Thank you!

Yes, absolutely! You can substitute any of the butters and oils with what you have or want to use.
