The new Todd is nothing compared to the old Todd in acting or looks even old Todd in disgrace no need to have brought him back the whole show is a pantomine
@@user-fs5hr2oi7u he got sacked after pleading guilty to sexual assault as for the new one I don't think he's too bad, I think I'll like him more I get used to him.
Sarah telling Gail about the Nick kiss (which wasn't actually a kiss) is the turning point. Without that, there wouldn't have been the fight with Eileen.
I know this is a 16 year old episode and attitudes have changed a lot in the last decade and a half (thank god) but I absolutely hate hearing the derogatory and homophobic stereotypes and language used by Sarah in this episode. Calling Todd bent and asking if he is going to hit her with his handbag, the comments about men doing it in a back alley or a seedy men's toilet. The episode makes it seem like coming out as gay is to admit you are a deviant and that's not just based on sarah's comments and reactions but on the way Todd talks about his sexuality himself, as if it's something nasty and evil he can't get rid off. I understand he is still struggling to accept himself and Sarah is in shock, but it is hard to watch it being viewed this way. This episode did nothing to help me who was in the closet at the time it aired and all the nasty things they said about Todd being gay made me feel even worse about myself, knowing those ideas were being reinforced in my parents mind. THANK GOD times have changed and that being gay is depicted much more positively.
@@justmanic9673 yes and that’s the problem, not the fact that Todd is gay. But some of the characters describe being gay as a completely bad thing, which is not true at all

As a gay man ive no sympathy for todd if he didnt want to come out fine ... but dont get with a woman as a cover its ruins her life ...
Exactly.
What bothers me is Todd knocked her up knowing he was gay and he cheated on her and rushed her into marriage and having a kid.
It's weird seeing the old Todd now we have the new one
Innit I dont like the new todd

I'm not keen on the new Todd. I prefer the old Todd
Kelly Millar Didn't the old Todd get arrested for something?

@JosephC The only thing he "damaged" was the mental health of the woman he sexually assaulted.
That's my teachers best friend
Gail: “Well wait till I get my hands on her”
And there you go everyone this is how the Eileen and Gail fights all began 😂
I miss old Todd.
Am glad they stayed friends tho. But I prefer the old Todd. He always looked after and protected her.

Things were different back then lol, now it's a lot more accepted to be gay
@@anoncxnt8249 it should have always been accepted
He cheated on her after telling her he wanted a baby, you know that.
