1080p benchmarks for a high-end CPU are misleading, and also pointless. Basically nobody buying a 9700X or 7800X3D is using it at 1080p, and the gaming difference disappears a lot at 1440p - which is a buying-decision factor: why pay more for a 7800X3D if the performance difference disappears at 1440p and up, and the 9700x runs a lot cooler? It's time to start matching reviews to actual use cases in 2024. If you want to include 1080p benchmarks, have them in addition to 1440p (and maybe 4k) benchmarks.
@@JSON689 Then you don't read your own comments before posting them. As the 4090 benchmark results at 1440p and 4k show, 1080p benchmarks aren't relevant for anyone with, or buying one of these CPUs who will have 4090-or-lower level of performance for the next few years - which is the overwhelming majority of people. That kind of spread likely also won't exist in 1440p-and-up with a 5090, and maybe not with a 6090.
@@thischannel1071 What I'm saying is, people wont watch just one video and people will find the videos of setups that they favoured. You say its pointless when it may actually be useful to some people. I can go comment down 7950x3d+4090 benchmark videos and say "whats the point of this, how many people can afford this setup"
@@thischannel1071 for example, the stupid high, up to 540hz monitors in 1080p. those monitors owners are very likely to search for videos like this one. are you denying the existence of them or what
So.... HU, GN, J2C and the rets as for full of crap. 9700X trades blows for 7800X3D.

Dumbest comment I've seen in 2024

@@JSON689 This is a really great explanation man, you put it into words really well. More people need to read this imo
