Just started playing her and on my 7th-8th run beat all the bosses. Had no idea what i was doing but triple jump and the jump higher made the last boss easy. Instant love when i saw this. Now i know how to build her so this is exciting lol
Nah, it happens for a bit different reason. It applies "zero gravity" to you for a casting animation duration, and so if you activate it on ground and press jump key, you'll "float" upwards a moderate distance
If you're using the alternate Phase Blink, I highly suggest trying out Purity with it. I know, procs are extremely important for DPS and Purity kinda ruins them, but if you go a more Bleed focused build and/or you get capped crit chance (since Purity won't matter for guaranteed effects like capped crit), then with Purity and Phase Blink you get a 0.5s cd on the blink, so you can blink almost indefinitely. Coupled with the fact that you don't lose height with Phase Blink means you can also juggle yourself in the air continuously between the blinks not losing height and you gaining height from the special ability.
Wanna add with the tips, spamming glaive late game can be really risky in some scenarios because of how it forces you to effectively stay still for a second or so. Especially with lots of wisps and brass contraptions around, they can sometimes put you down or heavily damage you before you’ve thrown the glaive fully and are back to being mobile
I have different view on the flurry tho. Dps wise, flurry sucks in the early game. But you only need 3 glasses to par with Stafe. Also, if you calculate the proc chance per sec, Flurry is way better since your dps is heavily based on your proc chance, especially in the mid and late game. Unless you are doing a 10 min speed run or something, Flurry is always better than Strafe.
Ive just started playing the game a few days ago and i found this really helpful. i will be checking other guides as i learn more characters. Thank you so much :)
MUL-T buzzsaw can be used while sprinting but you have to be revving first then sprinting, and you can also attack with the saw while using his transport ability
hunter's mask is really good for huntress because each bolt fired in a crit flurry can increase the attack speed buff count, meaning crits equal more faster crits. (to specify each of the bolts of crit flurry counts as a individual crit meaning that every bolt increases your attack speed up to the granted buff amount.)
It really bothered me not seeing predatory instincs being mentioned for Flurry. If you were to have 5 instincts and fire 2 crits in a row, your fire rate would have already doubled. Of course you need to get the masks first, but a single crit can procc 3 predatory instincts in a single shot, excluding the first one that gives 3 stacks. Overall that is a fire rate increase of +60% per crit, which is extremly powerful for Flurry. With a such a high fire rate it also synergieses well with proccing items like bleed, stun or stickies... literally anything, eventhough Flurry has a 0.7 procc-coefficient.
@@blackblade99009 It sure is fun on artifact of command. Stacking a shit ton of soldiers syringes, predatory instincts with 101% crit chance. Sure was fun getting 200 predatory instincts once, although it reached 130 stacks at best, because the fire rate simply couldn't keep up with the timer.
@@baumpaladin honestly if I am playing flurry huntress on command I don't even pick up syringes. Since I will get so many pred instinct anyway I just get crit, bullets, crowbars, stickies, bleed, and depending if I am feeling squishy a few armor plates. I prefer flurry just because of the downtime between shots making it easier to maintain sprint and move where you want, cause you can look away from enemies after you shoot. Its so good for quality of life, that I don't really care about the dmg loss.
Captain can also charge his shot while running, you need to start charging before sprinting so you can spaz someone in the face with a fully charged shot.
I don't like to play in default mode because you are very depends on items. But i found how to make this insanely hard even when u able to choose the items. There is a list of artifacts you need: Artifact of Command - (you can make your own builds), Artifact of Evolution (much harder in late game), Artifact of Frailty (you don't want to fall off a cliff), and the hardest one is - Artifact of Honor (all enemies will have MUCH more hp and damage, also some cool stuff like ignite you on hit, or freeze) This makes game much harder than default mode, and you wont depend on items you getting. Only pure skill. Good luck everyone who want try it, this is truly next difficult i called "Thunderstorm"
For flurry, it's 3 arrows at .7 proc chance vs strafe's 2 at 1.0 proc chance. On average you're going to activate more effects from items with flurry, no? Wouldn't this alone make flurry a better choice since that means it scales better overall, especially if you can build up crit?

Ok i got something that doesn't make sense. Why does the proc coefficient on abilities exist when there's a % chance on items? To me it makes it seem like there's 2 separate chances for an item to proc. Or am I not understanding this correctly
Proc coefficient on abilities will add onto the % chance on items. Like len's maker glasses has a 10% chance, and commando has a proc coefficient of 1.0, so a 10% chance. It's why MUL-T's nailgun doesn't proc a lot since it has a lower proc chance of 0.6, so lens maker with 10% chance would because a 6% chance of proc. Hopefully it made a little bit of sense
great vid, but one mistake. The healing of Harvesters is multiplied by proc coefficient, so only 3.5*6 hp per stack per crit for flurry. Still insane item for monsoon tho
