Best home theater of the Chicago tour so far. It's nice to see a home theater that not only is powerful and sounds nice with lots of tactile bass, but you can also tell that the owner put consideration into the aesthetics as well.
Your doing a amazing job, I've watched you from the start and you have come a long way. Keep these tours coming, send out flyers to everyone in the home theater community and let them know. Have camera and will travel, lol.
This is a great, fantastic setup! WOW! This is what I’d like if I ever redo/upgrade my setup! Then I can get you to come back to do mine again! lol Jordon, you are killing it with the content! Your videos are getting better and better. Best Home Theater tour videos in RUclips Land!
I really love to experience what jtr sound like in person, idk if there any demo room for the jtr in the Carolina area. On side note, this is a really nice set up, do people experience hearing loss after hearing a jtr system
I’m sorry…what?!? Just kidding! Hearing damage occurs from sustained exposure to harmful frequencies and levels. The reference level of movies does not damage your hearing as long as you measure and know where reference is on the master volume. Jeff from JTR now lives in South Carolina, but doesn’t have the demo theater complete yet in his new home. If you are ever in the Chicago area I would be happy to give you a demonstration of my theater!
Yea I didnt get as much broll as I wanted. We were doing two HT tour’s a day and were crunched on time. We were pulling 16-18 hrs a day with 5-6 hrs of driving in between. But we discussed the projector and its also in the video description
What is he doing to pass bass from the storm to the Denon via HDMI? Is this a specific thing the storm can do (I can't find mention of it searching) or is he just passing the full audio signal via multi room and only connecting subs to the Denon and letting EQ figure out the delay?
I use the StormAudio processor,'s HDMI output 2, and into the HDMI input on the Denon AVR. The Denon takes the Atmos audio signal, decodes it, and sends it to the LFE channel. You have to set up the AVR as 2.1, but you do not need to connect L/R speakers, as they are virtual. For bass management, if you want to use only LFE for the tactile devices, you set the virtual front L/R speakers to large. If you want to use redirected bass, you set the virtual front L/R speakers to small and set the desired crossover. I hope that answers your question.

Don't recall getting a clear view of the front of the room. Setup is over-the-top. but a view of the front would be great.
Gotta watch the video
I like it 👌
Great theater. This is Giomania's (on avs), right?
Yes, it is...who is this? 😉
Must have missed it - what model JVC? Amazing HT! Would have like some B roll of some of the items discussed.

Nice theater! I always like to ask how far are you sitting from the screen?
I am sitting 10.5 feet from the screen

Damn I am scared to go to reference
Awww ya! 🔊
does anyone know the thread on avs for the fan effects.
So,
I thought I heard him say he has an 8ch Mini-DSP as well as the 2x4 Mini-DSP...What is brand of the 8ch version?
@@michaelslocumbsr.2286 maybe the 8x12 MiniDSP? I am getting one as well to connect daily chained to the primary 2x4hd
I believe he has DDRC-88A from miniDSP (same brand) - I have couple of those for Dirac Live processing, but AFAIK he''s using them for sub alignment
@revosol Yes sir! I think I'll probably do the same as well! Thanks again and great job on the video production...
Yes I am using the DDRC-88A, which is no longer made. Last year they released the Flex HTx, which is (basically) an updated 88A
@@giotech4543 Understood! Thanks for the update! I saw that but wasn't sure if it was or just a different model...
Do these go to 11?😀
It’s about to! 😁
How is his Tinnitus going?
🤣
Eh?!?
