    Always there will be a bubble that’s just how it is. Helps the stuff inside to move around don’t ya think 🤷‍♀️
    If you remember snow globes when we were kids they always had air in it.

    If you have any pipettes or syringes they work well for topping off the fluid (getting rid of the bubble). You DO need a small, teeny, tiny bubble to help the glitter move around, but the smaller the better 😊

    Very creative idea. ❤ I have a suggestion, I use a lot of uv resin, instead of putting the uv resin inside the mold to create a partition, between globe and skull mold, put the uv resin on the globe (before inserting it into the skull) in small layers building up a partition this way it won’t overheat and you can control the height of the partition of resin. Between the wall of the skull and globe. Hope that make sense.

    Just FYI, your nail lamp has a 90 second low heat mode setting. This is what you want to use to prevent those heat spikes. It doesn’t just cure for 90 seconds. It gives the same cure as a 60 second cure, but does it at a little lower rate. Heat spikes, when doing nails, can be quite painful for some people, so that’s the purpose of this setting. I absolutely love this skull! Beautiful!

    OOOOH, look at that! It turned out *SO COOL!!!!* 😍 It's GORGEOUS! That's insanely cool! Okay, you've converted me! Need to get a skull mold! 😁
    Please, do NOT shorten your videos! I SO appreciate your step-by-step instructions. You're a natural teacher and high entertainment. 😊💕❤💕
    ~~~ You won't generally damage your molds as the UV resin heats up, but it *could* happen with cheap molds, I suppose? Your instincts are correct: do it in layers. The mold might not warp, BUT a too-thick layer does curve upwards as it cures under the lights, bringing the mold with it! Don't ask me how I know this. 🙄
    ~~~ You can fill that bottom cavity with UV resin. Shouldn't take much. 👍
    This was SO much fun, Julie! Thank you so much! 💕😊❤

    The skull mold is a fun one, I find! I made a skull with mica powder as well as some chunky glitter mixed into it. The deep pour resin I used took a couple days to harden, so by the time it hardened, the top of the skull, top of the eye sockets, and top of the nose all had chunky glitter on them. I thought it had a bit of a look like it had snow fall on it and those were the spots it collected because the chunky glitter was white/bluish. I never looked at it in the dark before I gifted it, but the chunky glitter was supposed to be glow in the dark.

    You can also use a little bit of water with hair gel, instead of the glycerine. Cheaper and easier to adjust how thick you want the liquid. Because you can get the hair gel (large bottle) at the dollar store. I use it to make sensory bottles. Which is basically a glorified snow globe lol. And you can add trinkets too, beads, charms. Etc. which is why I suggest using the hair gel. So you know if it's strong enough to float the objects, not just the glitter. That suggestion said....

I have yet to fill it all the way without some sort of tiny bubble just because of the force of filling it but I’m talking about on cups. The one problem I did have when it overflowed like yours did as well. The resin did not hold because of the glycerin on the bottle even though I did wipe with alcohol. The next day it leaked there was a tiny hole that did not cure properly. Love this.

    Just a little tip, I looked on Google. This is what came up. and you can adjust the ratio according to the size of container. I hated seeing you struggling: This is from
    Google: A good ratio is 1 cup of water, 3 teaspoons glycerin, and 3 teaspoons glitter. Glycerin can be substituted for olive oil, vegetable oil, or baby oil. Adding more oil will make the glitter fall slower. Tighten the lid on jar and glue shut. Hope this helps. I love this skull snow globe. Watching what you do helps and I learned a lot. And thank you for your videos I'm a fan, you are really fun to watch . 😊👍

    I think that's absolutely beautiful and with the piece missing down there underneath you could put LED lights in like that baby up that would be totally awesome that would be cute sitting on the end of a walking stick just saying it would be how beautiful I love it

    I like the cavity in the base of the skull! It adds a bit of realism to it!!! Great job!

    As someone brand new to resin art ( never used it) I absolutely love watching your video's, your commentary on what your doing and using is invaluable. I'm still gathering supplies and just ordered some more moulds from you and honestly cannot wait to give this a try as I know its going to be a new addiction lol I usually work with crepe paper making life like paper flowers, now im finding myself pressing and drying real flowers ready for resin. thankyou for sharing everything xxx

    Ok, I'm finally commenting now, lol. I loved this video! I never get tired of 'lengthy' processes when it comes to experimenting/learning with resin. I think you have a great teaching style, and I enjoy learning from/with you. I'm in my sixties, and don't totally understand the obsession with skull resin pieces, but it's a real big thing here in Washington State, lol. Different types of resin skull pieces sell like hotcakes here, lol.

      I live in Walla Walla Washington and I can attest to the skull obsession statement. Although I am 32 and I am one of the skull obsessed Washingtonians. Although, I have loved skulls for a very long time. Long long loooooonnngggg before it became a widespread obsession. Not because I think they are visually appealing but rather the opposite as I find them creepy and I like creepy things. Except for snakes and spiders. Things without legs or things with too many legs wig me out. 🤮

    What an original idea! Skulls are very popular these days...so I'm sure it will appeal to many people. I got a skull mold and it has really grown on me. 💀☠️🏴‍☠️. 💜
