Good overview. Do you know how to make a higher-level character? I can overtype the number in the LEVEL field, but it doesn't have any effect on what I can select and add to the character sheet. When I set it to Level 3, for example, I still only get the 1st level class feats list to choose from. Ditto for 2nd level spells, feats with prereqs, etc. The compendium only shows what's available at level 1, and nothing beyond that.

Interesting. And you've dragged over the Class into the sheet before this? I just tested it out with a blank character, and if I have a class dragged into the sheet and I adjust the level, I can click on the + icon beside each blank feat slot and pick all the appropriate feats for that level.

For my foundry game my players character sheet has 2 ancestry feat too choose is this a mistake or should they only have one.

A level 1 character should only have 1 ancestry feat, but you get more as you level up (at level 5 and every four levels after). Hope that helps.

so, roll20 is still unmatched with its charactermancer

I can't comment on that unfortunately, as I don't use roll20. I have heard you need to purchase the books on roll20 to have access to the player options contained within, unlike Foundry where all released content is immediately available for free. That's a pretty significant positive in my view.

The big difference is being able to just click "level up" and reading: click on this to roll to see how much hp you get, click from this list your spells, click from this list your subrace, etc.
You don't need someone saying to you what to look or choose, you don't need to read any book

Hey, fair enough, if it works for you and you're having fun, great!

Yeah, but I would still prefer that Foundry had it, it's the only part that roll20 has better still... but it's the biggest effort saving tool for the players.

Yup, I totally get that. I hope something like that will come out for the system eventually!
