what's up with these homophobic comments on a youtube video that is showing a clip of a broadway play...like man what are people thinking when they click onto this video? it's a church sermon or something?
What I don’t like about this play ( the book I mean) is its portrayal of women, every woman is either a homophobic crazy delusional bigot , or is a hysterical drug addict. I especially didn’t like how the writer chose to portray harper, if anything she was a victim
Charles Metcalf maybe they want an answer by someone who saw it and have a personnal answer instead of just reading a synopsis... There's no need to be rude because of a comment under a youtube video
So what is this about? because when i think about it i think The Laremie Project but it has no corrliation. So the character has aids? and idk the rest.
It's hard to keep a summary of this play brief. Really hard. Lol. But to make it as simple as I can, it takes place during the AIDS epidemic and it goes through the stories of different men suffering from AIDS who are all loosely connected but also living very different lives. These characters and stories all work together to show the way that AIDS affects its sufferers and how it affects so many different people. In other words, AIDS affects everyone and is not exclusive to one specific type of person. On top of that, there is a lot of first person experience as Prior (the main character) gets sicker and sicker. It gets trippy as he starts to have fever dreams and hallucinations. There's so much more to it than this summary, but thats the best I can do. Lol.
Mackenzie McGuire Well i am sure their is but this was great thank you, summary might not have been the right word but from what i know that is what this was
I saw this 4 times in London and I wanna see it again and again and again. Anyone who’s got a chance, go and see. You won’t regret it.
