Fair point, sorry. I sometimes exclude some teams because whenever I talk about a team, I feel like I have the need to calculate it and present very accurate info, and I can do that only for a limited amount of teams per video.
Yae is a very fun and strong unit. She doesn't provide much, except for damage. But that damage is VERY strong. Amazing aggravate main dps, very good sub-dps for spread teams(her rotations with tighnari are super fluid, and with al haitham its not bad). She's also a very good hyperbloom trigger, and also has lots of team options with Raiden and Chevreuse.
Idk about very strong. It’s kinda just alright. Even in this videos calcs it’s not the highest TGS has shown. Aggravate as a whole at c0 is just aight. Hyperbloom Yae without the xianyun team can run into consistency issues especially with how she’s rarely built full EM. I think her greatest strength is the easy turret playstyle giving her reliable damage. The damage itself though isn’t really all that great c0.
@@wilburforce8046 it seems youhavent played yae at all. People have been playing her with hyperblooms long before xianyuns release. When people say they play yae hyperbloom they mean quickblooms. No one builds yae on full EM. She's literally stronger than cyno teams whose specialty is quickblooms. If you use her just for E skill, then there's no point using her. Just use fischl.

Can you prove to me she loses to Cyno cause every decent Cyno I’ve seen equal gold cost wins including me. Her autos just don’t have the speed of Cyno nor does she gain free EM from her burst. Name a team where she wins that’s quickbloom and no gcsim is not a good argument. The reason I never counted Yae HB as good before hand was because it was always just worse then haithem and Cyno quickbloom. On field Yae is just kinda mid c0. I test with people all the time on jello’s server our Yae just isn’t as fast as haithem and Cyno c0 for quickbloom. Noir also has Cyno QB calcs rather high so if you want to disprove me you can name a server we can talk on to show our yae’s. Also this idea that “everyone played QB Yae” before xianyun is a little silly lol. Every serious Yae main was aggravating with sucrose in ST to try and compete with haithem. Yae QB was never really a competitive team c0.
@mikkunmikkichi3762 @@wilburforce8046 I can agree with pretty much everything wilbur said (except for the Cyno parts because I don't have him). Yae HB is kinda meme considering there are better variants, and Yaeggravate (Yae/Fischl/Kirara or Baizhu/Kazuha) doesn't perform as well since 3.X ended for me (blessings aren't tailored with dendro in mind now after all). Since then it always felt like Yaeggravate just doesn't compete anymore with the other top teams. When I say it "doesn't compete", it just means that overall she'll clear a bit slower, something between 5-10s slower than my usual teams. Which, granted, is still good, but it's not the argument here. That being said I was surprised by the C0 Chevreuse teams. I tried Raiden/Yae/Xiangling/Chevreuse, and it actually was competitive with the usual teams I use.
@@wilburforce8046i doubt your math skills. Have you considered time/distance variable in relation to enemies? No because that cant be calculated accurately. Youre not fighting a stationary dummy. Do an abyss run. It's very easy to compare them. 1. Get your best cyno team and do an abyss speedrun. 2 replace cyno wih yae, same artifatcts same team. 3 Now do an abyss speedrun with yae. 4 Compare their time. Do 3 trials. Unsatisfied on you being disproven? wait for a new abyss and repeat the trials. . Conclusion yae has always faster clear times.
Fischl is overrated and boring as fuck to use. Xianyun was the best thing genshin ever released. Once my yae is c6 she's gonna be destroying everything.
Pulled Xianyun a few days ago and came across hyperbloom plunge too while testing a bunch of teams myself, it's currently my strongest Yae focused team since I've already vertically invested a lot in all these units except Xianyun whereas other typical Yae teammates have a lower dps ceiling with vertical investment. Electro plunges feel great because it alleviates problems with Yae Quickbloom where sometimes turrets might hit seeds or you need to weave in Yae's weak normal attacks to hit them whereas electro plunges are both fast and have decent AoE so you're constantly proccing hyperbloom while also dealing a ton of plunge damage.
Yea her issue was always how much she at at c0 not how reliable it is. 71k with c2 Nahida is just kinda mid but her teams are quite a lot easier to play then say cyner.
Thanks for this, I love Yae♡ however, please consider making longer vids if you can. I feel like there are a lot of new team comps that could've been talked about (someone else already mentioned Chevreuse for example)
I play Yae a lot differently so I’ll tell you my two favorite teams. First one is Yae, dori, kazuha, and collei. Second team I really like is burngeon with nahida, thoma, xingqui, and Yae as the flex slot. Both of these teams feel good to play, dori heals an insane amount so even if you mess up rotations or take damage it doesn’t feel too punishing. For the burngeon team, unless you’re fighting something overly aggressive, w/ xingqui and Thoma’s abilities you take 0 damage. The problem with burngeon is the long set up time so adding in Yae miko allows damage to be dealt while you’re setting up and the rest of the team does the aoe damage (the electro application isn’t strong enough to consume all of the burngeon reactions and most of the time the mix of all the reactions helps rather than hurts. You will need high ER for thoma and xingqui, but for burngeon you’re most likely facing aoe which gives more particles for killing. While I have tried the Yae with fischl teams, I always had problems having 100% up time with fischl probably because mine is built wrong, but I also get chunked out like crazy because I don’t have baizhu and my kirara and yaoyao are low. In the department of comfy, I do like having a dori / Yae core and w/ dori you can be flexible w/ deepwood, exile, noblesse, the new healing set, and even mix and match two pieces for ER and HP. Kuki is a good option too, but she’s better to play on hyperbloom teams.
Yaw is NOT single target focused. This is worth pointing out because many make the mistake of equating and/or lumping her with fischl. This automatic association can limit people from exploring the many other possibilities.
Exactly. Only her burst is ST. By the time I have time to use it everything is already dead though 😅 I really don't get why people compare her to fischl they offer different things. Fischl has no AoE as far as I'm aware. People need to be better informed about their roles.
Eh, from my experience the comparison is kind of warranted. Whenever your on field can normal attack a lot c6 Fischl will come out on top be it aoe or not, and if the on field doesn't normal attack (like Tighnari) Yae is the better support option.
@@Ew-wth I have a C6 fischl and my experience is vastly different. Surely the different experiences can be credited to a number of factors, including team, investment, etc. Both my Yae and fischl are well build and my account is aggravate focused. I’m single target, fischl pairs well with Yae but in multi target I prefer Raiden.
@Erik-vf9yn @Erik-vf9yn that seems like a you thing cause I'm pretty sure people don't use fischl for her on field time only her skill and burst. Fischl damage is physical not Electro like Yae so I don't really get your point of comparison. Yae is just better on field and has an ult that doesn't suck ass like Fischl's. The support part is dependent on scenarios and teams but mainly fischl better in ST where Yae is better in aoe. They have a similar E that's the only comparison they have. Yae is just better in everything else except for being a good Electro battery like fischl is.
She is also exceptionally strong as an on-field DPS in Overloaded teams. Especially since Chevreuse came out. Being able to run Xianglin + Fischl/Sara in a team is insane. And Xiangling needs lower ER% requirements in those teams. - For Dendro teams her best Dendro teammate is Nahida if you can manage to not run a healer/shielder. And then Baizhu, Kirara, Yaoyao are rather comfort units but will be less damage. Something else, if you want direct upgrade for your Yae Miko teams, it's actually better to invest into her teammates than her herself. All her constellations do very little for her appart from her Constellation 6. But that's locked at Cons 6. Getting Nahida C2. Or simply the right teammates for her team I'd usually a bigger increase.
Mr Scientist would you agree that for some reason over time, it seems like almost every new character can rather easily find a way to need our Queen Miko on their team? She's seeming hella universal...
She's a character that can cover many different roles and has a very versatile element, I wouldn't say many strictly need her but she can fit on many teams!
I'd say she's not really universal. Her biggest issue is that Hoyoverse designed her for her burst to interact with Raiden, rather than for her elemental skill. Which leaves her E underpowered until around C3. And that, plus her field time being a bit high for an off-field DPS role, and the high energy cost of her burst, kind of limit team compositions where she's truly effective at low cons. I'm sure you can find things that work, but, this is Genshin. People find things that make Amber work ;) A low con Yae really wants the right reactions to fix that lackluster elemental skill damage issue.
Also a Yae player here. This is a good video. Im happy someone else is acknowledging Sucrose's strength in Yae team. (Especially if Nahida is involved) I will say, i do think regarding how high Yae's personal damage is in the "Plunge Hyperbloom", its a bit strange to me. Its not that I don't think the damage is accurate, its that Xianyun is such an outlier in what she does, that she can inflate ANYONE's number like this. (Not accounting for additional Hyperbloom damage). Having a hard time transcribing my thoughts about this. Yae's kit centers around her elemental skill. All if her multipliers, talents, weapons, artifacts, and constellations pretty much focus on making her E stronger. Which essentially pushes her towards an off-field row. Granted, I do not mind playing her on-field. I do it all the time, but I know thats not where her real strength lies. I feel like this only *looks* like Yae's best damage role option right now, because it's realistically the only way to make her on-field pressence matter, in comparison to actual on-field DPS units. Xianyun does a lot of heavy lifting here, she elevates the damage floor for everyone that is on a team with her. The INSTANT we get a character that adds flat damage to allies elemental skill damage, (an Electro Shenhe if you will) it's Joever.
Yae is my favorite character in the game ever since her appearance in the inazuma trailer, when everyone was doomposting about her in 2.5 i went and got her and her signature being that the only time i ever pulled on weapon banner. She has been my girl i rarely have her off my team and she just clears and has maximum slay and I love how after everything she has become the best electro dps
In the yae plunge team, I find it's impossible to swirl anything after the first rotation. It's still good because you generally kill enemies on one rotation and then the new wave spawns without Nahida's skill. I've also tried replacing Xianyun with Baizhu and it's also good but not as fun.

I found that I like her the most in Tighnari teams. A lot of teams I use usually are better off with Fischl c6 because they use more normal attacks. Not with our charged shot boy. x)
Honestly I don’t notice any energy issues with her with c1 I think that’s an underrated con, it’s just like Navias c1 which also makes her rotations smoother

Main Yae here, currently I have C6 Yae, C2 nahida and Im trying to build the best team for the pink waifu, my current team is completed with furina and jean (considering to switch jean for a future baizhu) but I ve never thought of Xianyun for the 4th slot.... Does it really keep up (and beats) the hyperbloom I could have with a baizhu?? Btw reaaaaaally love your content!!
It's weaker because Furina is far ahead Kazu's buffs and personal damage, the hyperbloom will be covering what her burst contributes every rotation. If it isn't against mobs that can be grouped the og quicken team won't beat this Qbloom variant.
@@YaeElectroCeiling didn't you just saw the calcs on TGS video, you think Furina's damage doesn't apply to Nahida? I end up losing grouping but gaining healing. Nahida's buffed damaged coupled with Furina's damage already far exceeded what fischl could provide and now Yae is plunging with Furina's extra dmg buffs as AOE, adding Hyperbloom to this kills any Aggravate variant from Yae period.
You talked about the value of her signature weapon in this video, but what about her constellations? C2 Nahida is going to be the best where it can be used, but I'm at C1 and I'm wondering if C2 is worth going for, for Yae.
If Keqingmains is to be believed, her c2 is the same dmg increase as from c0 to c1 (15%). If that's worth it for you, I guess go for it. I think that increase is pretty close to the signature weapon increase compared to, let's say Widsith R5.
quick question, for hyper bloom you calculated yae, fischl, baizhu and furina but I have personally been using the same team but switch out fischl with nahida, and the team feels way stronger? Is this true?

However, since I lost my 50/50 to Mona before I got Xianyun I decided to make plunge vape Mona (Mona, Xianyun, Bennett and Xiangling) Got her C4 not that any of her constellations matter. Small question, are the calcs for plunge hyperbloom assuming electro and/or hydro swirl from Xianyun? I tried the team just once when Xy came out just cuz it was funny and I always liked the Baizhu version a lot (so with Nahida and Furina), so I didn't pay too much attention to whether I was getting the swirls but with Nahida's dendro app I feel it should be pretty inconsistent. If it doesn't assume VV shred for electro and/or hydro and it still does that much more dmg than the double dendro version with Baizhu instead of Xianyun, I am surprised but I will trust the calcs, and thats pretty cool. @@AlejandroBravo0 Assuming Furina and Nahida goes first, This is what I do, when Yae's turn she can N1CA after her 3 turrets to make sure you the Electro sticks this works especially against single target and abit uncertain vs multiple enemies since the turret randomly targets. It is better to extend rotation by 2sec than to lose shred and both Furina and Nahida's buffs last incredibly long anyways.
@@ChiyoTachi if that works consistently then it's very nice. I'll try to see how easily I can replicate it. Agaisnt multiple enemies, if some are significantly more squishy than others and they are all close enough to each other, maybe you can do the trick of not marking one of the squishy ones with Nahida's skill to make the swirling more consistent. But yeah overall should be a decent upgrade just from the res shred, without even accounting for the plunging and the plunge buff.
@@AlejandroBravo0 Also keep in mind if you want to shred for hydro you can use Xianyun's normals to shred for Furina too just have to swap a few times. I would do Furina E Q > E E E > Xianyun E Q > Nahida E Q > Yae N1JPlunge x6-8 [Q] E E E. This the first half after this you might not be able to swirl/shred for furina since Dendro is eating up all the reactions and this is the point where you do N1CA for electro swirl during the second rotation.
I can't believe yae chevreuse isn't here, if you got chevy on raiden or yois banner yae, fishcl, chev and bennett/ xiangling can be a very strong and f2p team, especially for single target. Yaes best all 4 star team besides aggrevate maybe
This video got me even closer to using my guaranteed on Yae for the Nahida + Xianyun aggravate team (I love Fischl too much to go for hyperbloom). I don't want any other new characters for the foreseeable future but Furina's c1 is very tempting.
I expected you to talk about chevreuse teams, but I don't think you have her right?, even at C0 she can make very cheap core teams and overloaded's disadvantages haven't been pronounced in recent abysses since most enemies in the chambers are either bosses or heavies, I dont have yae, but I have used "bad" characters like yanfei and keqing with chevreuse and have better results than their traditional teams (vape and aggravate), at least at low to mid investment, I heard from other players yae's damage with chevreuse is very good, would be worth to take a look at least
That's exactly the team I'm using the most with her. Though I swapped out Nahida for Collei for some time now because I use Nahida in every other dendro team so it got kind of boring. Can't be wrong to build a second Dendro unit, lol, and Collei is actually pretty fun (and also stronger than I expected at c6). It's so satisfying seeing all the numbers going off and it's also one of the few teams that uses Yae as support in which she is straight up better than c6 Fischl because Tighnari doesn't normal attack.
@@Ew-wth agreed. Collei can also hold elegy if you have it and boost both Tighnari and yaes damage even further. This team absolutely destroys the current abyss second half lineup too
Hey TGS, what are your thoughts on Yae plunge but Fischl instead of Nahida? I've been using it personally and its a lot fun. Basically taser but you plunge. I cant tell the difference between that team and the nahida variant. Kinda feel the dmg output is similar but you'll know better
Sucrose another upside is when paired with a ranged defensive dendro, the whole team is ranged so dont have to waste time dashing towards the enemy for kazuha or kirara skill or going away to not get hit. Baizhu is bad as solo dendro to me as he is an energy blackhole, his buff being tied to his long burst animation that seems to last 3s and especially his dendro application being terrible, even in quicken teams when have at least 3 or more enemies as his E skill can bounce back to already hit enemy so only effectively applying dendro to 2 enemies so wasting further time to normal or charge attack the remaining enemies not applied with dendro. Thus, he is constrained to 1 or 2 enemies at best as solo dendro in quicken. Yao yao is ranged so paired with sucrose makes the whole team range and she can just burst to apply AOE dendro without staying on field with her. Kirara paired with kazuha is good except against stationary enemies with very strong melee attacks like the fontaine dancing boss.
Always used her as Electro support for my Nahida, Kuki, Tighnari Spread team but for the new abyss, I really just threw this Plunge Hyperbloom team together randomly and come to find out, it actually worked pretty well LOL
Are the artifacts for hyperplunge EM/Electro/Crit? I believe you only mentioned EM > ATK due to Xianyun buff so I assume that was for the sands and wanted to confirm the other to try this build!
I think you missed two good comps for her: The old one(before dendro) - Yae, Bennett, Raiden, Kazuha. And the new one, Overload, Yae, Fischl, Bennett/Xiang, Chevreuse.
I can speak to efficacy of 1st team even if you don't plunge, its one I'm using now for Fischl simply because i wanted to see a bunch of rapid 20-25k+ aggravates with a mix of lighter but reasonable hitting hyperblooms, i think it occured to me it made more sense for Yae but this would be one of those play who you like sorta situations I guess and I'll always do that🤣, definitely fun core regardless. Ideally i'd have a anemo healer who could group but even without all that team stuck out because it was giving me same times as various hyperbloom teams and the like (Yoimiya vape) vs local legends, and so far treating me well for first half of abyss (i'd second half but Wenut x Fischl is bad time) so if not scientific knew it must be working. Can only imagine should be amazing for Yae. Thanks for giving shout out to Yae Fischl core in general, always frustrated me everyone tried to make it a either or situation when it was more like Yae being a Fischl-like character with Beidou's sort of energy requirements, just with focus on mostly single target and frontloaded damage rather then the bounce stuff. Any thoughts on Instructors Nahida in pure aggravate teams? I'd be suspect of it as a spreadsheet team but seen it definitely more then once in a lot of aggravate speedruns (Keqing usually), so figure there has to be something to it even if in any other dendro team it would be likely a terrible idea.
I tried another plungebloom recently with Kaveh, Xianyun, Raiden, Furina. Kaveh's build needs some work, but the single target damage was fine. Any excuse to play my (pre-C6) Kaveh is fine by me.
Glad to see the Xianyun team doing so well I just wish I had Furina. 😢 maybe it's a bit petty of me but granted my Yae is like C5 but I refuse to use Fischl because the doomposters of Yae called her Fischl but worse. So my fischl stays never used, frankly I find all the 4* characters that are meta boring af. I only like Bennett cause he's kinda fun to use on field.
Have you ever tested Yae, Nahida, Fischl and Baizhu quicken team? Is quite a premium team but it is quite powerful and easy to use so i would like to know how good it performs compared to other variants.
36 stared abyss with both Yae/Kazuha/Baizhu/Oz. Yae/Nahida/Baizhu/Oz. I feel that C2 Nahida was necessary for me against the Nutworm. C0 Nahida is more than enough against everyone even the nutter if you build them all well.
the yae aggravate zhongli variant is so comfy to play i would honestly use that over kazuha/sucrose with dendro sustains... you have enough dps w nahida zhongli to clear aoe or single target content anyways but ofcourse the best team is nahida kazuha (normal a bit on yae for infusion) and 0 skill issue 😂😂
Hot take: I don't like Xianyun and the whole plunge mechanic. The plunge spam looks gaudy, I really hope it doesn't become a big thing with future characters. That being said Hoyo expanding/revisiting old combat mechanics and enabling more teams is good. So if you enjoy the plunge stuff that's cool, but you won't catch me pulling for Xianyun or playing that gross plunge spam style. Now Freminet and the shatter mechanic may seem cringe to some but I'm all about that! There seems to be something for everyone during the Fountaine arc so thats great. I've been using Yae Miko on My Navia Crystalize team: Navia, Kokomi, Yae Miko, Zhongli. I'm sure it's not a very good meta team but I enjoy it.
Yae Furina Kazuha Jean has been my go to as of late. (probs helps that my kaz and yae are both C2) But I digress, its a very convenient rotational team for me 😂
My question is if she's worth pulling if you have C6 Fischl? I know dendro and golden troupe buffed her allot but the same can be said for Fischl too. Just wanna know what's her pull value?
Depends what you have and what you want to do. For me, I have keqing built and pulling yae would mean benching keqing. I always play alhaitham in quickbloom so she has no place there. She might have some synergies with arle or clorinde but fischl is already there. Try thinking like that
If your goal is to have one of the best teams assuming C0 5* F2P investment, there are better options (stuff like Neuvillette teams or Alhaitham QBloom) The Fischl vs Yae TLDR : Yae better in AoE and at frontloading damage, Yae can also be played as an on-field carry by driving Fischl, Fischl is SLIGHTLY better in ST (except for aggravate teams obviously), Fischl is a lot more flexible and can be used as a flex slot in almost any archetype. I'm not too caught up on the Chevreuse teams, but if you have her you could try some Chevreuse teams, stuff like Raiden/Yae/Xiangling/Chevreuse which, even at C0 was competitive with my usual teams.
I used Yae, kujo, kirara, kazuha and in chev teams Yae, kujo, xiangling, chev against 12-1. Chev team 10s slower but chev not c6 and xiangling dmg only 4k pertick burst. I guess if you can get c6 chev that's going to be the same or stronger than aggravate
I have a question, if I put a catalyst on her which has a chance to reset her cooldown for her skill, could 4 turrets be out at once or will one disappear for the extra one

Guys . I don’t need yae. But I do really like her. She’s on of my favorite characters but she keeps running at the wrong time. I’m literally 10 pulls from my guarantee right now. I was saving it for furina c2. I currently have furina c1. Since I’m at my guarantee I was saving the rest of my gems for furinas weapon… so it’s either a guaranteed furina and maybe her weapon or pull a guaranteed yae and have no guarantee of being able to save up for furina or her weapon. I don’t know what to do guys. But keep in mind yae is one of my favorite characters lore wise.
So it's basically more damage vs no Favorite character, I think the answer is there which one has more value a character that you already own but just want improvements vs a character you dream of having.
Why does Yae calc so low here? A lot of these numbers are just kinda…aight for Furina teams. I get that she does reliable damage, I have a 3000 rv Yae myself, but I thought she would be a bit higher in the meta damage wise. Even cyner can do more from some calcs and runs I’ve seen.
@@yaemikoshandler I actually think the opposite. Some gcsisms love her while in gameplay my 3000rv Yae loses to c0 cyner every time. Kinda wack I guess with totem assumptions. Either way I find her c0 damage just aight which is sad cause I like the turret playstyle.
@@wilburforce8046 Your comment reminded me that in the last lineup with PMA on 12-1-1, Yaeggravate really was the only team I tried that activated PMA's second phase in more than 20s. Usually a very good team can at the very least trigger PMA's second phase at 09:40 of the timer (assumes not awful patterns ofc), but Yaeggravate just couldn't do it.
How would a Navia, Yae miko, Furina and Baizhu team work? I know it probably wouldn’t be meta but would it even be functional or…? And would it proc Hyperbloom? xD
Your hyperblooms will be very limited. Yae turrets can hit hyperblooms if enemies are close. Off field baizhu has bad dendro app for hyperbloom. You could still make it work if you dont use na with navia and just use skill and switch
Very good team, if you happen to get xiangyun she can be very good instead of Jean and tbh, just use fishcl, sara is just clunkier to use in that team and fishcl can make better advantage of furinas buff and battery yae

In the current abyss her Dendro teams are better in the first half, and in the 2nd half Chevreuse teams are great, and will do more damage if compared to her Dendro teams. Exception would be with Nahida C2 you may get higher damage with that team. But she can also be played in a traditional Overloaded team without Chevreuse against bosses. Kazuha/Sucrose, Xiangling, Bennett works great.

One of her best teams is Tighnari, Nahida and Zhongli. Probably worth a mention as its her most popular spiral abyss team by far for several cycles now.
Save your primos, if you have Kuki and Fischl you don’t need Yae. Kuki is a better Hyperbloom trigger and has some healing, and Fischl is just broken with Oz having no ICD.

Yae is a very fun and strong unit. She doesn't provide much, except for damage. But that damage is VERY strong. Amazing aggravate main dps, very good sub-dps for spread teams(her rotations with tighnari are super fluid, and with al haitham its not bad). She's also a very good hyperbloom trigger, and also has lots of team options with Raiden and Chevreuse.
Idk about very strong. It’s kinda just alright. Even in this videos calcs it’s not the highest TGS has shown.
Aggravate as a whole at c0 is just aight. Hyperbloom Yae without the xianyun team can run into consistency issues especially with how she’s rarely built full EM.
I think her greatest strength is the easy turret playstyle giving her reliable damage. The damage itself though isn’t really all that great c0.

When people say they play yae hyperbloom they mean quickblooms. No one builds yae on full EM.
She's literally stronger than cyno teams whose specialty is quickblooms.

The reason I never counted Yae HB as good before hand was because it was always just worse then haithem and Cyno quickbloom.
On field Yae is just kinda mid c0. I test with people all the time on jello’s server our Yae just isn’t as fast as haithem and Cyno c0 for quickbloom. Noir also has Cyno QB calcs rather high so if you want to disprove me you can name a server we can talk on to show our yae’s.
Also this idea that “everyone played QB Yae” before xianyun is a little silly lol. Every serious Yae main was aggravating with sucrose in ST to try and compete with haithem. Yae QB was never really a competitive team c0.

Yae HB is kinda meme considering there are better variants, and Yaeggravate (Yae/Fischl/Kirara or Baizhu/Kazuha) doesn't perform as well since 3.X ended for me (blessings aren't tailored with dendro in mind now after all). Since then it always felt like Yaeggravate just doesn't compete anymore with the other top teams. When I say it "doesn't compete", it just means that overall she'll clear a bit slower, something between 5-10s slower than my usual teams. Which, granted, is still good, but it's not the argument here.
That being said I was surprised by the C0 Chevreuse teams. I tried Raiden/Yae/Xiangling/Chevreuse, and it actually was competitive with the usual teams I use.

It's very easy to compare them.
1. Get your best cyno team and do an abyss speedrun.
2 replace cyno wih yae, same artifatcts same team.
3 Now do an abyss speedrun with yae.
4 Compare their time. Do 3 trials.
Unsatisfied on you being disproven? wait for a new abyss and repeat the trials.

Pulled Xianyun a few days ago and came across hyperbloom plunge too while testing a bunch of teams myself, it's currently my strongest Yae focused team since I've already vertically invested a lot in all these units except Xianyun whereas other typical Yae teammates have a lower dps ceiling with vertical investment.
Electro plunges feel great because it alleviates problems with Yae Quickbloom where sometimes turrets might hit seeds or you need to weave in Yae's weak normal attacks to hit them whereas electro plunges are both fast and have decent AoE so you're constantly proccing hyperbloom while also dealing a ton of plunge damage.

IMO, its easy to deal damage with Yae of how much her totems can do, sure she took more on-field time but in return is 100% uptime of DPS.

I play Yae a lot differently so I’ll tell you my two favorite teams. First one is Yae, dori, kazuha, and collei. Second team I really like is burngeon with nahida, thoma, xingqui, and Yae as the flex slot. Both of these teams feel good to play, dori heals an insane amount so even if you mess up rotations or take damage it doesn’t feel too punishing. For the burngeon team, unless you’re fighting something overly aggressive, w/ xingqui and Thoma’s abilities you take 0 damage. The problem with burngeon is the long set up time so adding in Yae miko allows damage to be dealt while you’re setting up and the rest of the team does the aoe damage (the electro application isn’t strong enough to consume all of the burngeon reactions and most of the time the mix of all the reactions helps rather than hurts. You will need high ER for thoma and xingqui, but for burngeon you’re most likely facing aoe which gives more particles for killing.
While I have tried the Yae with fischl teams, I always had problems having 100% up time with fischl probably because mine is built wrong, but I also get chunked out like crazy because I don’t have baizhu and my kirara and yaoyao are low. In the department of comfy, I do like having a dori / Yae core and w/ dori you can be flexible w/ deepwood, exile, noblesse, the new healing set, and even mix and match two pieces for ER and HP. Kuki is a good option too, but she’s better to play on hyperbloom teams.
Yaw is NOT single target focused. This is worth pointing out because many make the mistake of equating and/or lumping her with fischl. This automatic association can limit people from exploring the many other possibilities.
Exactly. Only her burst is ST. By the time I have time to use it everything is already dead though 😅 I really don't get why people compare her to fischl they offer different things. Fischl has no AoE as far as I'm aware. People need to be better informed about their roles.
Eh, from my experience the comparison is kind of warranted. Whenever your on field can normal attack a lot c6 Fischl will come out on top be it aoe or not, and if the on field doesn't normal attack (like Tighnari) Yae is the better support option.

Surely the different experiences can be credited to a number of factors, including team, investment, etc. Both my Yae and fischl are well build and my account is aggravate focused. I’m single target, fischl pairs well with Yae but in multi target I prefer Raiden.

Fischl damage is physical not Electro like Yae so I don't really get your point of comparison. Yae is just better on field and has an ult that doesn't suck ass like Fischl's. The support part is dependent on scenarios and teams but mainly fischl better in ST where Yae is better in aoe. They have a similar E that's the only comparison they have. Yae is just better in everything else except for being a good Electro battery like fischl is.
I use Yae Miko in my main team after getting her in 3.2. My main team just for exploring is Yelan, Hu Tao, Zhongli and Yae Miko

She is also exceptionally strong as an on-field DPS in Overloaded teams. Especially since Chevreuse came out. Being able to run Xianglin + Fischl/Sara in a team is insane. And Xiangling needs lower ER% requirements in those teams.
- For Dendro teams her best Dendro teammate is Nahida if you can manage to not run a healer/shielder. And then Baizhu, Kirara, Yaoyao are rather comfort units but will be less damage.
Something else, if you want direct upgrade for your Yae Miko teams, it's actually better to invest into her teammates than her herself. All her constellations do very little for her appart from her Constellation 6. But that's locked at Cons 6. Getting Nahida C2. Or simply the right teammates for her team I'd usually a bigger increase.
Mr Scientist would you agree that for some reason over time, it seems like almost every new character can rather easily find a way to need our Queen Miko on their team? She's seeming hella universal...
She's a character that can cover many different roles and has a very versatile element, I wouldn't say many strictly need her but she can fit on many teams!
I'd say she's not really universal. Her biggest issue is that Hoyoverse designed her for her burst to interact with Raiden, rather than for her elemental skill. Which leaves her E underpowered until around C3. And that, plus her field time being a bit high for an off-field DPS role, and the high energy cost of her burst, kind of limit team compositions where she's truly effective at low cons. I'm sure you can find things that work, but, this is Genshin. People find things that make Amber work ;)
A low con Yae really wants the right reactions to fix that lackluster elemental skill damage issue.

I will say, i do think regarding how high Yae's personal damage is in the "Plunge Hyperbloom", its a bit strange to me. Its not that I don't think the damage is accurate, its that Xianyun is such an outlier in what she does, that she can inflate ANYONE's number like this. (Not accounting for additional Hyperbloom damage).
Having a hard time transcribing my thoughts about this. Yae's kit centers around her elemental skill. All if her multipliers, talents, weapons, artifacts, and constellations pretty much focus on making her E stronger. Which essentially pushes her towards an off-field row. Granted, I do not mind playing her on-field. I do it all the time, but I know thats not where her real strength lies.
I feel like this only *looks* like Yae's best damage role option right now, because it's realistically the only way to make her on-field pressence matter, in comparison to actual on-field DPS units. Xianyun does a lot of heavy lifting here, she elevates the damage floor for everyone that is on a team with her.
The INSTANT we get a character that adds flat damage to allies elemental skill damage, (an Electro Shenhe if you will) it's Joever.

Yae is my favorite character in the game ever since her appearance in the inazuma trailer, when everyone was doomposting about her in 2.5 i went and got her and her signature being that the only time i ever pulled on weapon banner. She has been my girl i rarely have her off my team and she just clears and has maximum slay and I love how after everything she has become the best electro dps
My favorite Yae team is Yae, Fischl, Kirara/Baizou, C6 Sayu (EM Build with Electro goblet). Roll to win.
In the yae plunge team, I find it's impossible to swirl anything after the first rotation. It's still good because you generally kill enemies on one rotation and then the new wave spawns without Nahida's skill.
I've also tried replacing Xianyun with Baizhu and it's also good but not as fun.

I found that I like her the most in Tighnari teams. A lot of teams I use usually are better off with Fischl c6 because they use more normal attacks. Not with our charged shot boy. x)

Main Yae here, currently I have C6 Yae, C2 nahida and Im trying to build the best team for the pink waifu, my current team is completed with furina and jean (considering to switch jean for a future baizhu) but I ve never thought of Xianyun for the 4th slot.... Does it really keep up (and beats) the hyperbloom I could have with a baizhu??

Yae's strongest aggrevate team is ofc Yae, Fischl, Nahida and Kaz but that only if people are comfortable without a defensive unit
It's weaker because Furina is far ahead Kazu's buffs and personal damage, the hyperbloom will be covering what her burst contributes every rotation. If it isn't against mobs that can be grouped the og quicken team won't beat this Qbloom variant.

Nahida's buffed damaged coupled with Furina's damage already far exceeded what fischl could provide and now Yae is plunging with Furina's extra dmg buffs as AOE, adding Hyperbloom to this kills any Aggravate variant from Yae period.

If Keqingmains is to be believed, her c2 is the same dmg increase as from c0 to c1 (15%). If that's worth it for you, I guess go for it. I think that increase is pretty close to the signature weapon increase compared to, let's say Widsith R5.

Small question, are the calcs for plunge hyperbloom assuming electro and/or hydro swirl from Xianyun?
I tried the team just once when Xy came out just cuz it was funny and I always liked the Baizhu version a lot (so with Nahida and Furina), so I didn't pay too much attention to whether I was getting the swirls but with Nahida's dendro app I feel it should be pretty inconsistent.
If it doesn't assume VV shred for electro and/or hydro and it still does that much more dmg than the double dendro version with Baizhu instead of Xianyun, I am surprised but I will trust the calcs, and thats pretty cool.

@@AlejandroBravo0 Assuming Furina and Nahida goes first, This is what I do, when Yae's turn she can N1CA after her 3 turrets to make sure you the Electro sticks this works especially against single target and abit uncertain vs multiple enemies since the turret randomly targets. It is better to extend rotation by 2sec than to lose shred and both Furina and Nahida's buffs last incredibly long anyways.
@@ChiyoTachi if that works consistently then it's very nice. I'll try to see how easily I can replicate it. Agaisnt multiple enemies, if some are significantly more squishy than others and they are all close enough to each other, maybe you can do the trick of not marking one of the squishy ones with Nahida's skill to make the swirling more consistent. But yeah overall should be a decent upgrade just from the res shred, without even accounting for the plunging and the plunge buff.
@@AlejandroBravo0 Also keep in mind if you want to shred for hydro you can use Xianyun's normals to shred for Furina too just have to swap a few times. I would do Furina E Q > E E E > Xianyun E Q > Nahida E Q > Yae N1JPlunge x6-8 [Q] E E E. This the first half after this you might not be able to swirl/shred for furina since Dendro is eating up all the reactions and this is the point where you do N1CA for electro swirl during the second rotation.
I don't know if that's relevant or not, but you can also cancel her plunges with her E

Tried the plunge hyperbloom in abyss after seeing this. It was a lot of fun and quite effective.
I expected you to talk about chevreuse teams, but I don't think you have her right?, even at C0 she can make very cheap core teams and overloaded's disadvantages haven't been pronounced in recent abysses since most enemies in the chambers are either bosses or heavies, I dont have yae, but I have used "bad" characters like yanfei and keqing with chevreuse and have better results than their traditional teams (vape and aggravate), at least at low to mid investment, I heard from other players yae's damage with chevreuse is very good, would be worth to take a look at least

That's exactly the team I'm using the most with her. Though I swapped out Nahida for Collei for some time now because I use Nahida in every other dendro team so it got kind of boring. Can't be wrong to build a second Dendro unit, lol, and Collei is actually pretty fun (and also stronger than I expected at c6).
It's so satisfying seeing all the numbers going off and it's also one of the few teams that uses Yae as support in which she is straight up better than c6 Fischl because Tighnari doesn't normal attack.
@@Ew-wth agreed. Collei can also hold elegy if you have it and boost both Tighnari and yaes damage even further. This team absolutely destroys the current abyss second half lineup too

Hey TGS, what are your thoughts on Yae plunge but Fischl instead of Nahida? I've been using it personally and its a lot fun. Basically taser but you plunge.
I cant tell the difference between that team and the nahida variant.
Kinda feel the dmg output is similar but you'll know better
Sucrose another upside is when paired with a ranged defensive dendro, the whole team is ranged so dont have to waste time dashing towards the enemy for kazuha or kirara skill or going away to not get hit.
Baizhu is bad as solo dendro to me as he is an energy blackhole, his buff being tied to his long burst animation that seems to last 3s and especially his dendro application being terrible, even in quicken teams when have at least 3 or more enemies as his E skill can bounce back to already hit enemy so only effectively applying dendro to 2 enemies so wasting further time to normal or charge attack the remaining enemies not applied with dendro. Thus, he is constrained to 1 or 2 enemies at best as solo dendro in quicken.
Yao yao is ranged so paired with sucrose makes the whole team range and she can just burst to apply AOE dendro without staying on field with her.
Kirara paired with kazuha is good except against stationary enemies with very strong melee attacks like the fontaine dancing boss.
C4 Kirara you get range application, c6 Kirara you get team elemental dmg bonus.
Always used her as Electro support for my Nahida, Kuki, Tighnari Spread team but for the new abyss, I really just threw this Plunge Hyperbloom team together randomly and come to find out, it actually worked pretty well LOL

I think you missed two good comps for her: The old one(before dendro) - Yae, Bennett, Raiden, Kazuha. And the new one, Overload, Yae, Fischl, Bennett/Xiang, Chevreuse.
I can speak to efficacy of 1st team even if you don't plunge, its one I'm using now for Fischl simply because i wanted to see a bunch of rapid 20-25k+ aggravates with a mix of lighter but reasonable hitting hyperblooms, i think it occured to me it made more sense for Yae but this would be one of those play who you like sorta situations I guess and I'll always do that🤣, definitely fun core regardless. Ideally i'd have a anemo healer who could group but even without all that team stuck out because it was giving me same times as various hyperbloom teams and the like (Yoimiya vape) vs local legends, and so far treating me well for first half of abyss (i'd second half but Wenut x Fischl is bad time) so if not scientific knew it must be working. Can only imagine should be amazing for Yae.
Thanks for giving shout out to Yae Fischl core in general, always frustrated me everyone tried to make it a either or situation when it was more like Yae being a Fischl-like character with Beidou's sort of energy requirements, just with focus on mostly single target and frontloaded damage rather then the bounce stuff.
Any thoughts on Instructors Nahida in pure aggravate teams? I'd be suspect of it as a spreadsheet team but seen it definitely more then once in a lot of aggravate speedruns (Keqing usually), so figure there has to be something to it even if in any other dendro team it would be likely a terrible idea.
I tried another plungebloom recently with Kaveh, Xianyun, Raiden, Furina. Kaveh's build needs some work, but the single target damage was fine. Any excuse to play my (pre-C6) Kaveh is fine by me.
Glad to see the Xianyun team doing so well I just wish I had Furina. 😢 maybe it's a bit petty of me but granted my Yae is like C5 but I refuse to use Fischl because the doomposters of Yae called her Fischl but worse. So my fischl stays never used, frankly I find all the 4* characters that are meta boring af. I only like Bennett cause he's kinda fun to use on field.

the yae aggravate zhongli variant is so comfy to play i would honestly use that over kazuha/sucrose with dendro sustains... you have enough dps w nahida zhongli to clear aoe or single target content anyways but ofcourse the best team is nahida kazuha (normal a bit on yae for infusion) and 0 skill issue 😂😂
Hot take: I don't like Xianyun and the whole plunge mechanic. The plunge spam looks gaudy, I really hope it doesn't become a big thing with future characters. That being said Hoyo expanding/revisiting old combat mechanics and enabling more teams is good. So if you enjoy the plunge stuff that's cool, but you won't catch me pulling for Xianyun or playing that gross plunge spam style. Now Freminet and the shatter mechanic may seem cringe to some but I'm all about that! There seems to be something for everyone during the Fountaine arc so thats great. I've been using Yae Miko on My Navia Crystalize team: Navia, Kokomi, Yae Miko, Zhongli. I'm sure it's not a very good meta team but I enjoy it.
Someone said in zajef's video that Xianyun makes every character play same but with different clothes and body types and that description fits well
I'm surprised to see no chevruse teams. Do they not perform as well as the other listed options?
It sucks that Yae and Nahida didn't run together since their weapons are good on each other. They have to keep their Widsiths.
The funny thing about Yae is, she is a subdps, but her majority teams she is On field DPS.
As she should be.
Yae Furina Kazuha Jean has been my go to as of late. (probs helps that my kaz and yae are both C2) But I digress, its a very convenient rotational team for me 😂

My question is if she's worth pulling if you have C6 Fischl? I know dendro and golden troupe buffed her allot but the same can be said for Fischl too. Just wanna know what's her pull value?
even if you have fischl it's pretty good to pull for her if you wanna play aggravate or any double electro set up since the two have so much synergy.
Depends what you have and what you want to do. For me, I have keqing built and pulling yae would mean benching keqing. I always play alhaitham in quickbloom so she has no place there. She might have some synergies with arle or clorinde but fischl is already there. Try thinking like that
If your goal is to have one of the best teams assuming C0 5* F2P investment, there are better options (stuff like Neuvillette teams or Alhaitham QBloom)
The Fischl vs Yae TLDR : Yae better in AoE and at frontloading damage, Yae can also be played as an on-field carry by driving Fischl, Fischl is SLIGHTLY better in ST (except for aggravate teams obviously), Fischl is a lot more flexible and can be used as a flex slot in almost any archetype.
I'm not too caught up on the Chevreuse teams, but if you have her you could try some Chevreuse teams, stuff like Raiden/Yae/Xiangling/Chevreuse which, even at C0 was competitive with my usual teams.

I used Yae, kujo, kirara, kazuha and in chev teams Yae, kujo, xiangling, chev against 12-1. Chev team 10s slower but chev not c6 and xiangling dmg only 4k pertick burst. I guess if you can get c6 chev that's going to be the same or stronger than aggravate

I have a question, if I put a catalyst on her which has a chance to reset her cooldown for her skill, could 4 turrets be out at once or will one disappear for the extra one
There can only be 3 turrets on field. If you try to place more then 3 the last turret placed will be replaced by the new turret.

Guys . I don’t need yae. But I do really like her. She’s on of my favorite characters but she keeps running at the wrong time. I’m literally 10 pulls from my guarantee right now. I was saving it for furina c2. I currently have furina c1. Since I’m at my guarantee I was saving the rest of my gems for furinas weapon… so it’s either a guaranteed furina and maybe her weapon or pull a guaranteed yae and have no guarantee of being able to save up for furina or her weapon. I don’t know what to do guys. But keep in mind yae is one of my favorite characters lore wise.
So it's basically more damage vs no Favorite character, I think the answer is there which one has more value a character that you already own but just want improvements vs a character you dream of having.
If you are already able to 12 stars Abyss, then waifu>meta

Why does Yae calc so low here? A lot of these numbers are just kinda…aight for Furina teams.
I get that she does reliable damage, I have a 3000 rv Yae myself, but I thought she would be a bit higher in the meta damage wise. Even cyner can do more from some calcs and runs I’ve seen.
Calcs don't ever rlly favor yae since her totem damage is spread over aoe, which isn't taken into factor by calcs like that

Kinda wack I guess with totem assumptions. Either way I find her c0 damage just aight which is sad cause I like the turret playstyle.
@@wilburforce8046 Your comment reminded me that in the last lineup with PMA on 12-1-1, Yaeggravate really was the only team I tried that activated PMA's second phase in more than 20s. Usually a very good team can at the very least trigger PMA's second phase at 09:40 of the timer (assumes not awful patterns ofc), but Yaeggravate just couldn't do it.

Your hyperblooms will be very limited. Yae turrets can hit hyperblooms if enemies are close. Off field baizhu has bad dendro app for hyperbloom. You could still make it work if you dont use na with navia and just use skill and switch
Yae isn't great at targeting bloom cores unless she is used on field.

Very good team, if you happen to get xiangyun she can be very good instead of Jean and tbh, just use fishcl, sara is just clunkier to use in that team and fishcl can make better advantage of furinas buff and battery yae
@@yaemikoshandler I think Sara perform very well for burst oriented playstyle and fischl for more consistent. Sadly I cant find dmg comparison for this team comps 😭
No Chevreuse teams ?
TGS may have forgotten or no c6 to test it's ceiling/variant
In the current abyss her Dendro teams are better in the first half, and in the 2nd half Chevreuse teams are great, and will do more damage if compared to her Dendro teams. Exception would be with Nahida C2 you may get higher damage with that team. But she can also be played in a traditional Overloaded team without Chevreuse against bosses. Kazuha/Sucrose, Xiangling, Bennett works great.
@@tim64163 Which dendro teams exactly ? I tried the usual Yaeggravate w/ Kirara but it cleared slower than the C0 Chevreuse team I tried, which was Raiden/Yae/Xiangling/Chevreuse.
One of her best teams is Tighnari, Nahida and Zhongli. Probably worth a mention as its her most popular spiral abyss team by far for several cycles now.
Furina or Fischl in a Yae-Nahida-Xianyun comp?

Save your primos, if you have Kuki and Fischl you don’t need Yae. Kuki is a better Hyperbloom trigger and has some healing, and Fischl is just broken with Oz having no ICD.

In my experience 2p+2p atk more personal damage, meanwhile 4p gilded less personal but more reaction damage. I play her 2p+2p atk since her release. Look where you gonna have better stats afterall, bc difference is not that significant
@nosok125 my split on her with 2p+2p is 100/206 but i have zero em. I havnt lvl up her since her last rerun so idk if she can do well with 2pc but no em
I just have an equipped full lvl 20 2pc+2pc on her but hvnt test her on actual aggravate team. My skill talents are still lvl 1
@@Tony.nf10 I suggest you find around 100 Em on base and she will be pretty universal outside or with dendro. Try 2p em + 2p atk
