Plus, building someone like Shinobu full EM means her healing will end up pretty bad even if you get it to 1000. You mostly just lose by deciding to not let her be the EM trigger for the ult

You should still focus on EM if its an Alhaitam or Cyno team, since their optimal builds don't really support going full EM. In Cyno's case, this is especially important because he is the hyperbloom trigger. For someone like Shinobu on Alhaitam teams, you'd already build EM on her, but at the cost of her healing, which sucks when you play with Furina. On the other hand, you don't really lose much from building full EM with poor crit stats on Nahida, since she doesn't deal a large percent of the team's damage in these quickbloom variants anyways. He just forgor her ult doesn't give the buffs based on her stats :DD

Nahida's burst isn't based on Nahida's elemental mastery it's based on whoever has the highest elemental mastery on the team. If your playing hyperbloom/burgeon that person will be your trigger not Nahida therefore you don't need to build em/em/em. Balance stats to maximize Nahida's E skill instead
I have her EM/EM/Crit Dmg. 846 EM. Sacrificial Fragments. 22/200. I know with the passive it gives 24% Crit Rate under the burst. So I’m 46/200. What can I improve you think?
@@sinematic06crit rate. 200 crit dmg is great only if you consistently crit. for context, that 46/200 is roughly equivalent to having a 75/125. Also if you have her in a bloom team as OP described I'd suggest em/dendro/crit instead.

Because Mualani's hydro application works well here, unlike faster applicators for onfield like Childe, Ayato and sometimes Neuvilette if not too careful, she can trigger vape here without consuming the burning aura entirely whilst triggering Nahida's skill procs from the elemental skill to proc dendro off field and reset the burning aura once more. Hope I explained it well enough.
No they are not underrated, Nahida just makes for a harder to play team that doesn't allow to you to use kachina, Xilonen, sucrose or Kazuha, she doesn't provide much apart from the 250em buff since you aren't going to run anything for pyro outside of Xiangling because otherwise you'd shit yourself on aoe content, she's just disappointing on Mualani teams
Nahida can replaced by character like baizhu in some teams...but that is not the good reason for pulling him if you are f2p.. because the value provided by nahida to f2p account is huge....so for f2p accounts nahida is irreplaceable dendro character

Nahida also generate decent particle, easy to build and her weapon aslo kinda easy to pick base on your team, even proto amber work quite well if you need cheep aoe healing. Sure if you compare her to main dmg dealt like Kenich or Emille Nahida dmg is really low. but you can use both honestly also Deepwood is kinda good for another dendro dps and Nahida role that keep active the Deepwood set is also fit like puzzle. but yea i agree on you for that Cons, now days with nathlan set any nathlan or Fontain character have so much dmg that seems C2 Nahida its not that tempting if you compare something like R1 C1 Alrechino, Clorinde, Neuvillete, Furina, Kenich, Maulani.

He does say it was situational. I use instructor Nahida that holds TTDS to buff my hyper invested Clorinde. Clorinde uptime is just enough to use all the buff from both of them. I had been using Tenacity for months before I realized Instructor on Nahida would give Clorinde the much needed EM (Clorinde has 30) to boost her aggravate damage.
You can always go check Kewingmains to see where it falls. The thing is that you won’t get the stat(s) you might want all the time. I just run fav on her for onfield hyperbloom energy generation.
R5 Widsith comes close to R1 Verity and R1 Floating Dreams for on-field Nahida based on calculations. I don't know why TGS didn't include it. Don't rely on just one source of information, for example TGS here made an error when explaining how Nahida's teamwide EM buff works.
r5 widsith nahida with em/em/critrate is one of her best options for on fielder on hyperbloom teams because she can use all 3 buffs from the passive and her damage is pretty good
My main Hyperbloom team has slow enough Hydro application for Quicken shenanigans, so the Optimizer always gives me better overall "team numbers" (added individual rotation values) with Nahida on a EM/Dendro/Crit build... It's quite beautiful to see 45K+ Tri-Karma spreads, then 40K Hyperblooms and ~30K Sakura aggravates (Yae is one AMAZING teammate for Nahida IMO, as the Sesshou Sakura can proc Tri-Karma from different enemies and keep quicken on multiple targets while staying true to Nahida's range and Off-Field nature.)
Xilonen,Nahida, Kazuha,Furina, Neuvillette Anyone who wants the best value for their pulls should get these characters,they make the game so much easier and more fun! (You can clear any content in the game with any character you like with proper investments but these 5 characters provide the most amount of value for the pulls you spend on them)
My Nahida c0 has EM/DendroDMG/CritDMG golden troupe and her tri-karma deals 35~44k spread damage with magic guide (without or with deepwood debuff, if she becomes on-field below 2sec under own burst buff that hit can pass 50k, but I rarely use her burst because it is a DPS loss) on my hyperbloom team. This setup is only good for double dendro hyperbloom team where another character has 1k EM and another character has deepwood equipped.
I’ve had her on Deepwood, Em/dendro/crit with Widsith r5. Might put her on em/em/em and see how it goes. Her rerun is also coming up so gonna try for her c2, and maybe her weapon
Pretty sure EM/EM/crit is the best overall build for her, so I wouldn't bother changing that, unless you use her in aggravate teams, and even just for that, not really worth changing it.
Tighnari main with c 0 nahida pulling for her c2. Always ran her em em em and finally started playing with em dendro crit widsith.. she does good damage but clear times kinda similar. This video couldnt havr come at a better time

As a c6 r5 owner, do I go all em or em/dendro/crit. She does about 100k per normal attack after burst with an all em set, currently at 1056 em on deepwoods

"ER requirement" Huh, people use her burst? It does literally nothing at C0 in bloom teams but it's probably a DPS loss by using field time in anything that's not double electro/pyro.
It's not really a dps loss in quicken/quickbloom team with electro or dendro on fielder and in burn melt/vape teams. Tho it depends if you're a tryhard speedrunner with high investment and can easily one rotate the content without her burst then it's a dps loss but for most player and in calcs, it's not a dps loss. The situation where her burst isn't necessary is in bloom team and the team where she is the on fielder

Nahida looks amazing and I really loved her character, but since I need Mavuika for my Mualani and I'm considering getting Hu Tao's C1 because my Xilonen is kinda glued to Mualani (and that means pulling Xianyun for Hu Tao where her C1is irrelevant), I don't know what to do. I also want Alhaitham and she is great for him but getting them both seems unecessary. And I'm done for today!

For example between Crit and EM circlet: - using Crit circlet: 31.1% Crit Rate or 62.2% Crit Dmg (around 8 substat rolls) - using EM circlet: 187 EM = 18.7% Dmg and 5.6% Crit Rate (around 5 substat rolls) So, Crit circlet will slightly outdamage EM circlet if Nahida doesn't trigger Spread or Bloom.
Sure. Until another hydro immune enemy like the Tulpa shows up in the abyss along with it. It’s only a matter of time. Hoyo will do things that will shaft Neuvillette. They did it with Venti and Ganyu. They can do the same to Neuvillette.

You are going to regret that. Burn will hurt him, even if you use Bennet you won’t be able to remain always in the circle. You can’t switch back to Nahida during Wriothesley’s field time without having to start a new rotation, so his performance will greatly suffer in multi-wave. Even when everything goes well, Burn Melt isn’t the best for Wriothesley. Lastly, new potentially meta changing units like Mavuika are about to be released.
If you want to go through that route,then take these ideas into consideration (1)nahida with 1000 em stat,so that she gave give wriothesley 240 em,boosting his melts (2)bennet-with noblesse oblige and sapwoodblade-make sure bennet is after nahida in rotation so that he will give 20% attack and 60-120 em(based on refinements),thus you total em gain will be around 300-360. These are optional choose one of these (1)xiangling-she deals huge damage,at c4 you can get more melts (2)dehya-put her on tenacity of millileth-it will give you additional 20% attack,her skill gives interruption resistance and damage mitigation.Her damage mitigation is very useful,especially bennet applies pyro on you while giving attack boost,thus preventing getting oneshot by strong enemies like magu kenki.If you dont have c2 then use sacrifical greatsword,if you have c2 prefer favonious for more energy or Makhaira Aquamarine for more em buffs (3)thoma-his c2 increases shield uptime and c4 decreases er requirements,he is adecent option,however if you have c6,then he become a very good support (4)Anemo support-kazuha is best,since you already get atleast 300 em from team,lynette and sucrose buffs are around the same level,make sure that kazuha and lynette burst are pyro infused,or else you will have issues,your pyro application will be scuffed with sucrose.not that recommended.
it would be better for you to pull for a character like mavuika who has more chances of being a better pyro off fielder than xiangling to keep up the pyro aura consistently also if you really want to play burnmelt emilie is the better choice because she has more damage and reduces burning damage that you take so you wont die in bennet's circle
Crit weapon (like Verity, Widsith, Sacrificial Jade) is nice if you have it, or just EM weapon (Floating Dreams, Sacrificial Fragments, Wandering Evenstar, Magic Guide).
EM/EM/Crit is generally her best build. Nahida is usually not the one triggering the final reaction, so often another character will want to be at high EM (especially the case for hyperbloom and burgeon teams). EM also has DR (the real kind, not the "I don't know what DR actually is, so I'll call Increased Opportunity Cost that as well" kind). And theorycrafters usually overlook Nahida tagging enemies over a wide, wide area with her elemental skill, plus the impact of an electro on the team, and so underestimate both her damage and the value of it.
Well, that means you probably don't want her enough and you wish for every other character. She was released almost two whole years ago, but even half a year is enough to farm for a guarantee. I'm not the one to lecture you about this, though, but going for too many characters makes the game "harder" in a sense :D
I find paying Nahida kind of frustrating even if she’s OP. I still got her on release and maxed her Skill and Burst. But if I can avoid using her, I do. Any child character for me just feels clunky to use. Not anything against her viability. Of course she helps me clear fast af, but I have more fun using Emelie or Baizhu, for example, on teams where they can replace her.
@tavinhoo he made one for chasca and need to do with ororon too, it's not as simple as a choice of artifact and a weapon, in the Chasca video he details how her teams will work etc

Widsith is actually good for nahida because she can utilize all of the buff even with atk buff because her elemental skill scales of EM and ATK.

Since my Kuki its the one stacking EM for my on field unit (Alhaitham) I use R5 Widsith on Nahida with an hybrid, mostly crit, build.
I'm never taking her off Deepwood or Sac. It's so nice to have two Es.

As a c6 r5 owner, do I go all em or em/dendro/crit. She does about 100k per normal attack after burst with an all em set, currently at 1056 em on deepwoods

unlike clorinde sethos actually does have em scaling in his damage so she's very good for him if you do end up getting her

Huh, people use her burst? It does literally nothing at C0 in bloom teams but it's probably a DPS loss by using field time in anything that's not double electro/pyro.
It's not really a dps loss in quicken/quickbloom team with electro or dendro on fielder and in burn melt/vape teams. Tho it depends if you're a tryhard speedrunner with high investment and can easily one rotate the content without her burst then it's a dps loss but for most player and in calcs, it's not a dps loss.
The situation where her burst isn't necessary is in bloom team and the team where she is the on fielder
In my kinich team, i know emilee is preferred but would it be best to run deepwood c2 nahida with c6 thoma on scroll set along with nobless bennett until mavuika release and emilee rerun
I have build her as dps since first banner came out and i have no idea how em build would change my teams.
Nahida looks amazing and I really loved her character, but since I need Mavuika for my Mualani and I'm considering getting Hu Tao's C1 because my Xilonen is kinda glued to Mualani (and that means pulling Xianyun for Hu Tao where her C1is irrelevant), I don't know what to do. I also want Alhaitham and she is great for him but getting them both seems unecessary. And I'm done for today!

Assuming the Hyperbloom/Burgeon trigger has 900-1000+ EM, Nahida can go for a mix between EM and Crit (EM-Dendro-Crit / EM-EM-Crit / EM-Dendro-EM).

- using Crit circlet: 31.1% Crit Rate or 62.2% Crit Dmg (around 8 substat rolls)
- using EM circlet: 187 EM = 18.7% Dmg and 5.6% Crit Rate (around 5 substat rolls)
So, Crit circlet will slightly outdamage EM circlet if Nahida doesn't trigger Spread or Bloom.
I'd add 4 pc Exile alongside ToM and Instructor
Dont understand how people play kuki al haitham furina. Kuki only heals onfield and al haitham wants to soak up all the onfield time
Furina healing passive every time Alhaitham gets healed to full.
You can also run prototype amber on Nahida if more healing is required.
nahida hyperbloom on one team, neuvillette furina team on the other and you dont need to think about what to pick for abyss forever

Hoyo will do things that will shaft Neuvillette. They did it with Venti and Ganyu. They can do the same to Neuvillette.

I am pulling her for Wriothesley burn melt only. Need a 4th member since I already lost Emilie & xilonen 50/50
You are going to regret that. Burn will hurt him, even if you use Bennet you won’t be able to remain always in the circle. You can’t switch back to Nahida during Wriothesley’s field time without having to start a new rotation, so his performance will greatly suffer in multi-wave. Even when everything goes well, Burn Melt isn’t the best for Wriothesley. Lastly, new potentially meta changing units like Mavuika are about to be released.
If you want to go through that route,then take these ideas into consideration
(1)nahida with 1000 em stat,so that she gave give wriothesley 240 em,boosting his melts
(2)bennet-with noblesse oblige and sapwoodblade-make sure bennet is after nahida in rotation so that he will give 20% attack and 60-120 em(based on refinements),thus you total em gain will be around 300-360.
These are optional choose one of these
(1)xiangling-she deals huge damage,at c4 you can get more melts
(2)dehya-put her on tenacity of millileth-it will give you additional 20% attack,her skill gives interruption resistance and damage mitigation.Her damage mitigation is very useful,especially bennet applies pyro on you while giving attack boost,thus preventing getting oneshot by strong enemies like magu kenki.If you dont have c2 then use sacrifical greatsword,if you have c2 prefer favonious for more energy or Makhaira Aquamarine for more em buffs
(3)thoma-his c2 increases shield uptime and c4 decreases er requirements,he is adecent option,however if you have c6,then he become a very good support
(4)Anemo support-kazuha is best,since you already get atleast 300 em from team,lynette and sucrose buffs are around the same level,make sure that kazuha and lynette burst are pyro infused,or else you will have issues,your pyro application will be scuffed with sucrose.not that recommended.
it would be better for you to pull for a character like mavuika who has more chances of being a better pyro off fielder than xiangling to keep up the pyro aura consistently
also if you really want to play burnmelt emilie is the better choice because she has more damage and reduces burning damage that you take so you wont die in bennet's circle

Crit weapon (like Verity, Widsith, Sacrificial Jade) is nice if you have it, or just EM weapon (Floating Dreams, Sacrificial Fragments, Wandering Evenstar, Magic Guide).
With Furina in the mix, you might want to consider Prototype Amber, for extra healing, as an option.

EM/EM/Crit is generally her best build. Nahida is usually not the one triggering the final reaction, so often another character will want to be at high EM (especially the case for hyperbloom and burgeon teams). EM also has DR (the real kind, not the "I don't know what DR actually is, so I'll call Increased Opportunity Cost that as well" kind). And theorycrafters usually overlook Nahida tagging enemies over a wide, wide area with her elemental skill, plus the impact of an electro on the team, and so underestimate both her damage and the value of it.
EM/EM/CR and if using Sac you will still easily get to 800 EM in stats which is good buff.
What about widsith as just a crit stat?

Well, that means you probably don't want her enough and you wish for every other character. She was released almost two whole years ago, but even half a year is enough to farm for a guarantee. I'm not the one to lecture you about this, though, but going for too many characters makes the game "harder" in a sense :D

I find paying Nahida kind of frustrating even if she’s OP. I still got her on release and maxed her Skill and Burst. But if I can avoid using her, I do. Any child character for me just feels clunky to use. Not anything against her viability. Of course she helps me clear fast af, but I have more fun using Emelie or Baizhu, for example, on teams where they can replace her.
Nahida is best for hydro bloom and it beat abyss everytime with team : nahida fishl xingqiu and kuki .
