  • On 9 March 2015, Defence Relationship Management gave 12 British employers the experience of a lifetime: training with the Royal Marines in Norway. Visit www.gov.uk/mod/employer-relations for more details.
During the three day trip the employers got to grips with service kit, drove tracked vehicles and camped overnight in minus 30 degrees.
BFBS reporter Geoff Meade joined the employers to find out how their view of Reservists and the Armed Forces has changed after seeing Reservist skills in action.

Really good to see this pro active support from industry for employees in the RMR and Reserve forces. I served in City of London RMR in the early 70’s.

A really good idea it makes sense if employers know what their part time training entails. I hope they are going to take a happy dip through the ice. The poacher turned Gamekeeper then you have got to understand the humanitarian work especially the RM Cdo's do, home and abroad.
