This reminds me of training a grape vine except the peach tree isn't supported by wires. My trees look like 7:17 upper left corner. I'll have to cut the branches coming off the main branches to 12" and see how it works. Won't recognize the plants when done - LOL

Is there an ideal number of side shoots per foot on the branches?

who knew pruning was so scientific that you had it down to 160 something shoots per tree or 2 shoots per ft of scaffold (three branches)
