Thanks for pointing out that the background's white and the spine says the same thing inside and out. I wouldn't have known unless you verbally said it.

Man, you said it! I wouldn't have known it was white either. Feh... I'm guessing these sort of cringe-inducing unboxings might annoy you as much as me. Want to see it, but listening to this stuff... Uuuggh, all this "Hey, guys!" BS... as if he knows us. Then the requisite "Let's crack this bad boy open" and worst, the reading of everything in the packaging. He says, "The Blu-ray sticker does say "Blu-ray edition...high definition"
Hahahaha. It's so stupid! But look, we all know why "so many" of these precious young unboxers talk in this same mind numbing, idiotic manner. It's because they all just wet their pants over a new purchase. And I get being happy about buying a new Blu-ray or album or CD or book, etc. I just wish they'd chill down a bit and do this in a smarter, more laid back cool way, that doesn't come off so esoteric and almost snobby, but in a really dumb way
They should take a lesson from Paul Sinclair at Super Deluxe Edition. Now those unboxings are great to watch.
And thankfully there's no "Hey guys!" nonsense and referring to every last item at hand a "bad boy" 😖
Anyway, enough of that. Just here b/c your comment made me laugh. Was refreshing to see (as opposed to all the normal brown nosing crap over such a basic, informational thing)
      Marc

Thank you for this. I just bought this. Is the quality 4K? Plus I love that beat at the end of your video! Subbed

The master used for the Blu-ray Disc is indeed a 4K restoration. However, the Blu-ray Disc is 1080p. Don’t let this dissuade you, for the quality is still impeccable and actually superior to Kino Lorber’s 4K Blu-ray due to the incorrect color timing on the 4K. And the criterion has the original 2.0 surround audio, while the 4K’s 2.0 is a down mix from 5.1.

Why isn't it in a snap case like the rest of the Criterion Collection or any other Blu-ray for that matter? I personally hate these kinds of cases.

I ordered 3 BluRays (Silence of the Lambs, Dr Strangelove, Seven Samurai) from Criterion and all of them were in this kind of case

@@jonhahn6557 I know why you might hate them: digi-packs are different sizes for certain movies, so it doesn't align on the shelf as nice; shelf ware is an issue.
But for me personally, I'll take either or. I like the digi-packs and the regular cases. Why I love digi-packs is they tend to have even more work put into them than the regular ones. The entire thing has designs on it, whereas the regular ones might just comes with a little booklet and one disc. Artwork is still phenomenal of course, but you get the drift.

Any idea why this is so much money? 45 here in canada. Is it normal for criterion collection movies?

In the US Criterions usually cost around $25 each, not sure why they are so much more in Canada.
